I don’t know. Right now I feel just like a chald because I’m so excited. This entire month is full of work, the kind of work I’ve wanted to do and been working towards, speaking, hosting, events and working with really great people to do fun things. More deets later this week.  I’m also just a little,  kinda excited because I’M GOING TO COSTA RICA ON A SURFING & YOGA RETREAT. I’m visiting Anamaya Resort in Montezuma for 7 days of sun, surf and yoga. I’ve not surfed in years so I’m realllllly looking forward to it. I’ve never  been on a solo vacation and I’m dying surf. Keri & I test drove some cars then went for a tour around the big F21. How old are you? No really? Forever 21! P.S. Oh hey there. Mama loves new shoes! Last night I cruised by the Fall Preview of Dr. Martens. I’ve been a Docs lover since primary school so it’s awesome to be invited to check this out. I took all these photos cause I love the shoes. My fav ones right now are Eclectic in white canvas & Triumph 14 Eye. Get ready for some serious shoe pr0n… For the stylish & sophisticated wearer. Love these bad boys. Real fur. Imagine the comfort & snuggles for your feet. I have those Triumphs on the right but with tartan inside. Jay Strut is in el-oh-vee-eee with these ones. That’s Doug in the background, International Sales Manager. He gets to wear Docs errry day! We were at the Sheraton, 30, miles stories high. Constantly distracted by things that are shiny. These ones are all pretty classy looking. I’m impressed with the wide range of shoes they have. They are really well made and versatile. The really tall 20 inch boots make me want them. You know I love my bike, biking, bicyclette. If you don’t, you might wanna do some homework in the company Bike archives. (Duh, where have you been?) There she is. She needs a physical, some real attention. Let’s hope she’s gonna make it. Last week I dropped her off to the Curbside Cycle  on Bloor to see if we can bring her back to life.  Fingers crossed! I was introduced to Curbside after learning they carried the ORONTAS BikeCare line. Orontas is an alternative oil company with “a reckless commitment to do better”.  Their products are biodegradable, petroleum-free and they look nice. Attention bike nerds/hipsters, you should have this stuff already. It just came out Spring 2011. I recently had the bext Friday afternoon escape from work ever, three hours at a SPA! Yep. I received a gift certiificate to ME Spa, not just any spa, Male Esthetics Spa that caters primarily to men. I showed up to this! Spa owner Douglas Coburn told me about his work and we picked a couple services while I sipped champagne & ate strawberries. First up was a full body scrub including face. It was so great do something good for my skin. Post scrub I went in to the bathtoom in a robe to wash off the scrub. You can kinda see it on my skin. After that I jumped into another even softer robe. I swear to you it was like being inside a stuffed animal, like one of those Gund or really expensive stuffed animals. I was already feeling less stress. Douglas used to be the Director of Esthetics at Bode Spa in Ottawa. A men’s spa is quite like any other (woman) spa except here they really know manscaping and how to ease stress of life in the city. I love hearing a guy I know got a manicure or pedicure. It shows you take care of yourself and that is sexy if you are man or woman.  If you are a dude who takes care of yourself, you will likley feel more confident. Then when you use that confidence to chat a beautiful lady, you won’t be self conscious about your unibrow, hairy back (god forbid shoulders), crackly feet, nose hairs (gross) ear hairs (ewww). Out for a nice little walk after I watching Black Swan (finally). Reckon I will watch it again. I often do that with movies I like. Ending, did she die? Perfect. Pretty stoked for this week. Thursday I’m on a panel for Fashion Connect Toronto at the Gladstone. Few other things goin’ on but nothing too crazy. Part of the fun I really enjoy about my life is the spontanious things that pop up. I had a fab dinner with with a friend at this place on Dundas last night (forget the name). No, not like that silly, computer teams. I haven’t got one YET but I’m going to, I really want one. One of these things  below just doesn’t belong… (and no it is not Justin Bieber!) I’m ready to make the switch to a MAC, I’ve been curious for a long  time. I’m stepping up my game with new cameras and more work. I really want to do more video editing and fancy stuff with photos. My little Netbook baby Robert has been my sidekick for the past two years.  I’m ready to give him a big brother. Oh, and I touched an ipad 2. It’s pretty sexy. I just came back from a meeting and stopped by Nella Bella to check out all the stock for tomorrow’s one day sample sale. If you need have a bag obsession, need a new bag or just wanna treat yourself go stop by. These are some of my fabv Nella Bella babies: Little guy fits everything, camera, phone and wallet stuff! Tarek nicknamed it the ‘Casie bag’. The bag this girl has in the photo is one of my most fav treasured things I’ve got. It has travelled all over the world with me and it’s in good shape. hello friends. today in between doing things i have to do i decided to brave the cold and see just how rotten it was. played around a little. well, la-di-da! side note: LOVE this movie if you go outside remember to wear sun glasses. the winter sun is just as bad for you and nothing burns the retina like snow blind. if you are gonig walking you really should wear sunscreen too. The other day Raymi took me to The Motion Room for a workout. I’ve not been much of a worker outer the past few years, however, last week I had a very different gym experiece. You know what? I really liked it too. Shirt is from  Me to We in support of Africa, shorts are American Apparel from Bud Camp, socks from AA too. Hipster workout. haha. It was super rad to have someone show you what to do then push you to do it. I enjoyed this ladder thinger. I often make things into dance moves. The young ballerina in me will never die/grow up. Did you ever notice ballerina has the work ‘baller’ in it? Pairs, duet. Good form. I rocked the pushup plank style going down and back. I did such a good job that instead of going plank all the way he made me do pushups in between. Urgh, remind me NOT to try hard with a trainer. You will only end up hurting more. Look at my pipes. I’m huge. Squats too, check them muscles. I died a little post ladder. I dont like normal gyms cause I feel self conscious, and insecure because I don’t really know what to do. It might be different if I had a partner.  I often stick to the treadmill cause it’s self explanitory. The workout here was really fun cause we used different equipment and I had a coach. I think that’s what really makes the difference for me, having someone tell you what to do. (Keep the sub/Dom jokes to yourself, haha) This is what really…

There will be abs. I know I’m small but I am not really that fit. I wanna go away on my vacations next month and feel good. I wanna look at photos and think ‘you look great’ not, ‘detele that one, you look gross’. It happens all the time. Don’t judge me. Ok, think what you want. I tried on my skinny jeans (which by the way are a very unhealthy size) and said if I fit these I have a body image disorder. They don’t fit. When I lived in Australia I came home so skinny, remember Nicole Richie running on the beach, yeah that was me. So gross. I’m getting in shape this time. Ate healthy yesterday and have has breakfast two days in a row. It takes dedication and a bunch of little steps to get results here! I started this blog to keep more memories it used to say “people. places. things. thoughts: in attempt to keep more memories“. If I write things down I’m more likley to make it a reality so that’s what I do. On that note, heading for a brisk walk to Yonge & Dundas Square to catch some pix of the Santa Parade (largest in the world) and ride a mustache (not a real one a skateboard one for Movember!). After that I’ve got a 90 min massage at Ostara Spa. Looking quite forward to everything today! I’m ready for the holidays. Gimme a candy cane.
