Garden Party! Ted Baker London SS15 Preview at Casa Loma

Last night I went to Toronto’s castle to check out the Spring/Summer 2015 collection from Ted Baker London. I love Casa Loma, it’s especially beautiful at magic hour or in the summer (great garden out back!). These are one of my latest pairs of shades from Polette Eyewear in France. Polette is an online optician, a leader on the French market, glasses are made-man, and come in a various material (wood, hand-polished acetate, plastic, metal). These are the Monroe. The Monroe Apple has purple mirrored lenses and light green frames! Looooove. The Conservatory inside Casa Loma was decked out like a beautiful garden party complete with a string quartette playing pop songs. You’ll have to believe me because I accidentally deleted the Vine I made. I have the FW2014 version in Candy Apple Red. One of the things I love about the Ted Baker London brand is the attention to details. Ted is alllllll about the details. The clothes were beautiful and the food was great too. We had deep fried asparagus, candy sushi, ahi tuna, and my fav was a tiny little beef cupcake. Fashion | Ted Baker London Now Open At Eaton Centre

Last week Ted Baker London opened a new store at the Eaton Centre. The store is located right across the the Apple Store on the second floor near Queen Street. Love that Apple & Ted’s new shop are so close. Media, bloggers, and brand lovers filled the store to check out the latest collection, intimate details of the store, and dine on English treats from P&L Catering. These little savoury pies were divine! I ate my share of mini sausage rolls too. Here’s some snaps from the event via Katherine Holland/Faulhaber Communications. I was wearing that darling hot pink dress I absolutely love. It’s available the store right now along with a bunch of other great dresses perfect for the holidays. The whole gang of Ted Baker London Brand Ambassadors was on site for the opening. I’m sure you recognize a few faces! Tweeters gonna tweet, tweet, tweet! I really love the attention to detail in everything Ted baker London. Pattered jacket linings, quotes on accessories, little monogrammed initials, unique buttons, there’s personality in all the details. In the new ‘Bakers Arcade’ themed shop you’ll find something special in every nook and cranny. There’s so many darling pieces in the shop right now. I love this blue number! Collar dresses are my fav. This green suit. I die. I have a version of this camel cape coat from last season. So nice. Fashion | Ted Baker London & Baker’s Arcade at The Eaton Centre

Friday marks the opening of the second Ted Baker London store on Toronto at the Eaton Centre. It was two years ago when the first store opened in Ontario at Yorkdale Mall and it’s been great fun working with the brand since. I’ve collected a bunch of beautifully designed pieces and had the opportunity to visit Ted Baker London shops in New York City and London, England. The steel ceiling trussles are spray painted in neon pink and series of framed panels of wallpaper, fabric, leather and detailed collections of relevant props define each ‘shop’ area: Umbrella Shop, Watchmaker, Optician, Jeweler, Perfumery, as well as a Tea and Cake Shop. One of the most admirable things about Ted Baker London is the acute attention to detail in the design of stores, clothes, and accessories. My purses and wallet are lined with English Bulldogs, my camel cape coat has funky orange ribbon lining. I love it! I’ll share some photos on the new shop after my visit tonight. Ted Baker London – NYC 5th Avenue Grand House

Started the day in style with Starbucks, sunshine and a smile. This is the lovely Patricia ⬆ and ⬇ that’s not how you spell my name but I didn’t care one bit, I was in NY and it was Friday. ❤ This was en route to the essence NY head office, (Justin Bieber’s concert sponsor). NY cabs are cheaper than Toronto, feels like you drive for ages before you hit $20. Cool 3d art installation painting downstairs. Great view from upstairs. Our next stop was the Ted Baker London 5th Avenue Grand House. It is gorgeous. Still looks like an old house in many ways, even how the clothes are hung and accessories displayed. Right away I said, “WHEN CAN I MOVE IN?” I loved it. I adore the new prints from Ted. I got a this great new bag, pants, a few scarves, and much needed grown lady wallet. I absolutely love travelling. It’s less than three weeks before I head to California for six days with bloggers and best friends. I can’t wait! Ted Baker London Celebrates 25 Years in Style

Last week I hosted Ted’s 25th celebration at the beautiful store in Yorkdale Mall. In true Ted Baker London style, it was a hoot! I played around in the clothes trying on everything I could get my little hands on, helping customers, drinking lemonade, and dancing to wicked beats. The entire store was 25% off to celebrate 25 years of the iconic brand. As a Ted baker London Ambassador, I was lucky to pick a few items out for myself! It was hard to choose, trust me! Test Drive from Ted Baker London Spring 2013

On Friday I got to do something that is every girls dream! Stopped by the Ted Baker London showroom at Faulhaber Communications to check out a bunch of spring items to pick something to ‘Test Drive’. Squeeeeeeee! I’ve been an ambassador with lots of different brands over the years and this for sure ranks up there. I was feeling kinda meh and as soon as I started trying things on my spirits were uplifted! All the Ted Baker London clothes are extremely well made and have strong attention to detail. The style fits me so well, they’re playful and fun yet classy and tailored. I noticed the camel cape as soon as I wanted in but tried on a bunch of things and looked at all the bags. I wish had every item in my wardrobe! I decided to go for the camel cape. It’s 70% virgin wool blended with cashmere. I love it. The inside also has beautiful orange/yellow ribbon stitching and fine details. I’ll have this thing forever. Matches great with my fav Ted Baker London purse and bulldog print scarf. Beards and blazers, boys with long hair, fancy dresses, I can’t help but love the style of Ted Baker London. The first Canadian store in opens this weekend and I’ve been chosen as an Ambassador. I have such a heart on for this look, Royal country elegance. The Ted Baker Blog is Muse & Views, they’re on Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. Creative, classy, their AW 12 campaign is ‘Survival of the Fittest’ and they say things like ‘be a glitter bug in Ted.’ I love it. Good brand, good branding. It’s a match made in heaven, romantic really. Stop by the store Friday-Sunday for the weekend long, picnic in the woods celebration. During store hours, don’t show up late for a bonfire! They’re giving away a $2,500 shopping spree, some other prizes, and treats. Things I love are this collared sweater, blazer, and printed jeans. Canada Votes | I Voted!

4:32.49 – how long it too me to vote this morning. Went early to avoid the rush, was done by 9:50! It was so easy. I had to replace my licence recently so took the paper one w/ my passport & voting card. Don’t get discouraged if there’s a crowd today, let it excite you! This is a big day for Canada and an opportunity for change in our awesome country. Dress up, take a selfie, go with a friend, go with your bae. VOTE! Today also marks the first day of World Master Card Fashion Week in Toronto so I dressed stylish and wore Canadian. Dance w/ Me: #TedBakerAW14 + Holiday Preview

Last night I checked out the AW14 + holiday collections from Ted Baker London at Danceology in Liberty Village. I got to preview a few items a couple weeks ago an upcoming feature shot by George Pimentel, wore the pink dress! There are some incredibly beautiful items. Ted is a brand with impeccable details, the buttons, collars, inner linings, everything has a touch of personality. The holiday stuff is dreamy with heaps of sparkles. There’s a couple great leather items including a moto jacket with sleeves and a fur collar that zip off. I love this one. All leather. So soft. I love this little riding hat. Andrew Dobson just posted a story w/ a riding hat like this in Metro. But it has a long pony! BTW if you want a marble phone case you can get one here. In other news, there’s a Ted Baker London store opening at the Eaton Centre in October. It’s going to be located on the third floor right across from the Apple Store. Pretty stoked! Received quite a lovely gift in the mail from my love, Ted Baker London today. Was invited to be an ambassador for the launch campaign in Canada last year and I’m back for Spring! This year celebrates the 25th celebration of Ted Baker London and they’ve got some fun stuff planned. For Spring 2013, Ted Baker London has launched a Finishing School. I loved this idea because I went to modelling school as a teenager, which was much like finishing school. Under Ted’s orders we’re all in detention this week. The first 500 lucky students to enter their line of the day through Twitter, Facebook or Instagram will receive a limited edition tote adorned with their line. One student will be chosen and rewarded top of the class by a fashion blogger for especially creative and inspired entries. Prize for that is a beautiful leather satchel embossed with their initials. Thomas Sabo SS13 Launch at The Shard, London, UK

On December 5th I went to the SS 2013 launch of Thomas Sabo. It was at the Shard London, UK. There had NEVER been an event there and it doesn’t open to the public until FEBRUARY 2013. Amazing experience to be one of the first Canadians in the building and post the first Instagram’s checkins OF LIFE. Ermahgerd. I got to meet Thomas Sabo himself and the new brand ambassadors Poppy Delevingne and David Garrett. Poppy was lovely and energetic with an accent I wish I could borrow. David is an American/German, violin playing, bad boy with long hair, great style, and a beard. Both total babes. There were a pile of celebrities there including including Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg, Jade Jagger, British Pop group Sugababes and Ellie Goulding. The new GOLDEN SILVER line is all about tri-colour matching Sterling silver, rose gold and yellow gold. I wore that gorgesous dress from Ted Baker London, with a Ted’s purse, vintage jacket, Top Shop tights, Thomas Sabo jewellery, and Jeffrey Campbell shoes. It was so much fun. Yorkdale Expansion Opens Today w/ Ted Baker & More!

Last night I ventured uptown to Yorkdale Mall for the VIP pre-opening of the $220 million expansion. Yorkdale added 145,000-square feet of space 800 more parking spots, 27 new stores and a high-end food court. Five upscale stores are making their debut in Canada: Microsoft, Tesla Motors, Ted Baker London, Kate Spade and Ann Taylor Loft. As an Ambassador for Ted Baker in Canada, I was extremely happy to hang out in the store, try on clothes and meet the entire team. I got a few goodies too, Scuba dress, bulldog scarf, I haven’t been to Yorkdale in ages and it’s really quite a lovely destination. Shooting w/ NKPR, My Fav Shirt, Periscope from a Church

Last week I was on set for a day with MD Media and NKPR for an exciting TV project we’ve been working on. My first shoot day was about 2 weeks ago, remember I was on set with Tim Warmels (The Bachelor) here. This is one of my most fav shirts, picked it up at Philistine Toronto, Queen West last summer. We used a few of my things as props, beloved Ted Baker London makeup bad and Dermalogica products. I absolutely love their tinted moisturizer with SPF. It’s perfect for summer when you don’t have to wear as much makeup. The long thin tube is a tinted primer with SPF that’s great as well. I love being on camera! Those bright lights on the face feel so great. Been wearing these glasses heaps lately. They’re another steal from Polette Eyewear in France. Polette was started by a young entrepreneur, Pierre Wizman, who decided to quit school and build his first company at the age of 16. He wanted to make affordable, yet stylish eyewear available for all. Check out all the rad styles at polette.com. We were at a church so decided to snoop around. And they did a live periscope from inside. It was kinda fun. Hey Tory! It was raining that day but I’m totally ready for any showers that come my way with my bright red Stutterhein jacket. Blogging + Brunch = Bon Weekend!

Started the day w/ a nice latte and brekky at Cafe Neon near my place. I was working on an exciting new project you’ll learn about over the next few weeks. Loving the new leather gloves from Danier I got on my mega shopping spree yesterday. I had to pop by Le Chateau to pick an outfit for an upcoming photoshoot so I rounded up gift cards from mall stores and went to town! FYI all the winter accessories are 50% off at Danier right now. Picked up a nice pair of gloves and some goodies for the BF too. It was pretty nice out today. Birds cherpin’! Check out this gorgeous bag I picked up at Ted Baker’s new Eaton Centre Store. WMCFW: Here’s How I Prepped for A Busy Week!

I had a lovely and relaxing weekend. Went to Screemers on Friday night for a good scare and spent Saturday afternoon at Hammam Spa. I’ve gone there a few times lately as a way to treat myself to some relaxation. this time I went a little early to relax in the steam room before my full body mud wrap. My skin felt like silk after! Thank you Hammam Spa for this little gift bag! I had tweeted them the day before about the 20% Stylicity discount (available now!) and they left me some goodies. Oh how I love the Internet! This little pink makeup bag is from Ted Baker London and I keep it in my purse to freshen up my look since I often head to events right after work. In it are always a few of my fav things: Essence Nailpolish – dries fast! Essence mascara – not expensive but great volume Rescue Remedy – if you have anxiety, this stuff is for you! A new toothbrush from Phillips and a whitening pen. I take really good care of my teeth so these were a treat! In other news, I was in an electric toothbrush commercial when I was 16. Mastercard Stylicity Celebrates the Canadian Tuxedo at The Room

Fashion week events kicked off last night with Mastercard Stylicity at The Bay on Queen Street. The fashion community gathered for an exclusive event seeking to redefine the eye catching denim-on-denim Canadian Tuxedo. Special guests included The Coveteur’s Stephanie Mark and HBC Fashion Director Suzanne Timmins. I rolled up with Brock Mclaughlin and we were up to are usual shenanigans of course. I picked up these glasses from Top Shop. They reminded us of Andy Warhol. These book trees are beautiful. I wish I had room for one at the house. Thanks Mastercard Stylicity and The Bay for the gift card. We all got to pick a card from a magical bowl and although they each had some value, there was only ONE with a huge payout. There’s Art in My Heart and It’s Beating Rainbow Bright

I love this weather and time of year for the sheer beauty of photos. I can’t wait to get out in the wild with my new Canon DSLR at the cottage this weekend and snap some photos. Devil in the Blue Dress, Ford Blue

On Friday I went to Ford Canada’s annual Ford Blue party. I sat in this sexy blue 2013 Mustang, wore my fav Ted Baker London blue dress, and ate a bunch of blue candies. I love Ford events and how the brand consistently caters to media with small details to make sure they have a great time. The food was excellent, the entertainment was fun, and I had a few drinks of my fav Grey Goose. Last year I travelled to Detroit twice with Ford and I really got to know the brand personally and learn that they reall know how to do social well. Ford is one of the top social brands in the world. Definitely a brand other brands should be following. Thanks Ford for hosting us for a great night. They even had a shuttles running to take everyone back downtown from Sound Academy.
