Feel well. I have no energy. No energy but that to work here with my computer and iPhone. (Which actually takes quite a bit of energy TBH.) I would like to sleep for days but that is not an option. Send love <3 BTW iMovie for iPhone is pretty neat! Happy SUMMER.

It’s been an exciting two days so far. We’re going to see LOTS more social integration with broadcast media this year. Everyone is talking about transmedia storytelling, telling stories with brands across different platforms in traditional & new media. Mobile everything. I’ve learned about some really neat technology in 3D that is really freaking cool. No glasses and the most real picture you have ever seen. I hear sports look absolutely amazing. I’ve got a couple minutes in my hotel room before my Blackoptek treat mate Darren Pereira is on the panel about Social TV. Panel starts at 3pm Calgary time. Panel is Social Television: Ways to Engage, it’s gonna be a good one. Deets here: Larry King isn’t coming tomorrow night for the award show. I was hoping we could hang out. This week flew by and the next two are going to b e the same. LOTS happening this month. Neutral tones & grey were popular colours in my posts this week. Not many bright colours like last week. Pinterest Viddy Instagram Came across a neat tool for looking at your Twitter stats. I love looking at this stuff. I never think about the stats when I’m publishing so looking back at trends, patterns & stats is cool. Based on my last 4,000 tweets I publish approx 59.2/day and one of my tweets is retweeted about every 10 I publish. There’s lots of sailboats on the lake today. We’re heading to the airport in a couple hours flying WestJet into Calgary about 11:30pm. I’m stoked. Had a great prep-talk with a friend I look up to last night. Ready to kill it in Banff. I’m coming for you Alberta, the world!

Creativity is waterfalling. Clear head, open mind .The next ten days are CRAZY. Banff World Media Festival, NXNE, MMVA then to Detroit with Ford and it’s July. Have a busy day today starting with the 2012 Women in Biz conference. I’m an invited guest of General Motors Canada. Thank you! In the afternoon I’m heading to the 3F store for a PR appointment to do some styling. Every time I go into 3F I’m so glad to be part of the team. There was a heap of new items in bright colours. I picked up these BRIGHT yellow high waisted skinny jeans along with a black vest. Jeans fit great, actually went down a size! I love the fabrics and the softness of everything. Since the parent company specializes in textiles for high end brands, they’re all good quality. Bell bottom blue jean, baby. Picking a contest winner to receive a $100 store gift card. Deets here. Hoping to talk cars with GM at the conference today and see about taking one of these camaros for a couple days. I love the old ones and I bet Dad would be wrapped if I showed up in one of these! Walked down Yonge Street like a tourist yesterday. It was lovely. Everything changes so much it’s nice to walk around and stare at everything with new eyes. Yonge Dundas Square is always full of things happening. This guy had some pretty magical skills with a crystal ball. Watch. It’s only 15 seconds. I’m convinced he plays a Wizard on the weekends.

What are you doing in Mississauga? Picking up a new car for a week. I can’t WAIT to drive this thing. I’ll show you later when Barbie and I go pick it up at lunch. I really miss being in an office. I’m already 30 in New Zealand so I’m trying to get over the anxiety that is trying to hit me right now! Cousin left a cute message on Facebook. I wish I was there right now. In 30 years I’ve never had a birthday with my cuzzies.  Maybe next year 🙂  

Last night a friend and I caught The National Theatre of The World’s monthly presentation of the Carnegie Hall show. It was funny. The only non-funny part was when I yelled out Carly Rae Jepson when they asked for a name but they didn’t get it.The potential for LOLs was there! They had it! I love the B&W photos of all the comedians who’ve been part of Second City over the years. John Candy was my fav, what a great Canadian. The show is made of working comedians, MATT BARAM (Second City), CHRIS GIBBS (The British one), RONALD PEDERSON (Mad TV), and NAOMI SNIECKUS (Mr. D, Second City). They’re Canadian Comedy Award winners for Best Improv Troupe three years running. Way to go guys! Notice my name? Let me remind you the entire world, It’s Casie not Cassie. I made a cartoon about it once, remember? Thanks heaps for great seats. We had a fun time and lots of laughs. I was totally into the acrobatics show in the cube.
