Test Drive from Ted Baker London Spring 2013

On Friday I got to do something that is every girls dream! Stopped by the Ted Baker London showroom at Faulhaber Communications to check out a bunch of spring items to pick something to ‘Test Drive’. Squeeeeeeee! I’ve been an ambassador with lots of different brands over the years and this for sure ranks up there. I was feeling kinda meh and  as soon as I started trying things on my spirits were uplifted! All the Ted Baker London clothes are extremely well made and have strong attention to detail. The style fits me so well, they’re playful and fun yet classy and tailored. I noticed the camel cape as soon as I wanted in but tried on a bunch of things and looked at all the bags. I wish had every item in my wardrobe! I decided to go for the camel cape. It’s 70% virgin wool blended  with cashmere. I love it. The inside also has beautiful orange/yellow ribbon stitching and fine details. I’ll have this thing forever. Matches great with my fav Ted Baker London purse and bulldog print scarf. Now that I’ve sampled this stuff I will deff be making a trip to the Toronto store at Yorkdale Mall. Yorkdale Expansion Opens Today w/ Ted Baker & More!

Last night I ventured uptown to Yorkdale Mall for the VIP pre-opening of the $220 million expansion. Yorkdale added 145,000-square feet of space 800 more parking spots, 27 new stores and a high-end food court. Five upscale stores are making their debut in Canada: Microsoft, Tesla Motors, Ted Baker London, Kate Spade and Ann Taylor Loft. As an Ambassador for Ted Baker in Canada, I was extremely happy to hang out in the store, try on clothes and meet the entire team. I got a few goodies too, Scuba dress, bulldog scarf, I haven’t been to Yorkdale in ages and it’s really quite a lovely destination. Beards and blazers, boys with long hair, fancy dresses, I can’t help but love the style of Ted Baker London. The first Canadian store in opens this weekend and I’ve been chosen as an Ambassador. I have such a heart on for this look, Royal country elegance. The Ted Baker Blog is Muse & Views, they’re on Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. Creative, classy, their AW 12 campaign is ‘Survival of the Fittest’ and they say things like ‘be a glitter bug in Ted.’ I love it. Good brand, good branding. It’s a match made in heaven, romantic really. Stop by the store Friday-Sunday for the weekend long, picnic in the woods celebration. During store hours, don’t show up late for a bonfire!  They’re giving away a $2,500 shopping spree, some other prizes, and treats. Things I love are this collared sweater, blazer, and printed jeans. Dance w/ Me: #TedBakerAW14 + Holiday Preview

Last night I checked out the AW14 + holiday collections from Ted Baker London at Danceology in Liberty Village. I got to preview a few items a couple weeks ago an upcoming feature shot by  George Pimentel, wore the pink dress! There are some incredibly beautiful items. Ted is a brand with impeccable details, the buttons, collars, inner linings, everything has a touch of personality. The holiday stuff is dreamy with heaps of sparkles. There’s a couple great leather items including a moto jacket with sleeves and a fur collar that zip off. I love this one. All leather. So soft. I love this little riding hat. Andrew Dobson just posted a story w/ a riding hat like this in Metro. But it has a long pony! BTW if you want a marble phone case you can get one here. In other news, there’s a Ted Baker London store opening at the Eaton Centre in October. It’s going to be located on the third floor right across from the Apple Store. Pretty stoked! As an ambassador I’ve hosted a few events at the Yorkdale shop but it’s so far! Stay tuned for the next shopping party! Received quite a lovely gift in the mail from my love, Ted Baker London today. Was invited to be an ambassador for the launch campaign in Canada last year and I’m back for Spring! This year celebrates the 25th celebration of Ted Baker London and they’ve got some fun stuff planned.   For Spring 2013, Ted Baker London has launched a Finishing School.  I loved this idea because I went to modelling school as a teenager, which was much like finishing school. Under Ted’s orders we’re all in detention this week. The first 500 lucky students to enter their line of the day through Twitter, Facebook or Instagram will receive a limited edition tote adorned with their line. One student will be chosen and rewarded top of the class by a fashion blogger for especially creative and inspired entries. Prize for that is a beautiful leather satchel embossed with their initials.
