Loving this remix of Tove Lo’s ‘Stay High. I put all the recent songs from my Shazam (music discovery app) and put them in an Rdio playlist. The three day event runs October 24th-26th at The Direct Energy Centre and features all kinds of seminars, art, wellness, celebrities, and other fun stuff to do with sex and romance. It’s a great time of year for this show because we’re about to start hibernation and if we have a winter like last year, we’ll all be spending heaps of time at home. And hopefully not alone! I creeped the event website and found this group of cool peeps I can vouch for that are worth checking out at the show: Actor, musician, gamer, and bar owner Rainbow Francks Artist extraordinaire Jessica Gorlicky UFC babe Elias Theodorou (met him at Todd’s show last month) Katrina McKay from Ohhh Canada! Cat Footwear SS 2014 | New Shoes For Me and YOU!

Hi guys! Let me tell you about my new shoes and how you can win a pair! I got that Super Bass: Bass Boomz Bluetooth Speaker

No, not Nikki! Although I did have a real heart on for that song when it came out. Keri and I played it on the repeater and danced in our jogging pants. Last week I was received this awesome little portable, bluetooth speaker. Took it to the hot tub lounge and hellooooo, it’s so loud. Sounds wicked! Bass Boomz is the same company that sent me those wicked Swarovski headphones a couple months ago. They gave me a 50% discount you can use if you want to order a speaker (BBZ649103). This was at Ottawa Fashion Week after walking the runway wearing Rachel Sin for the closing celebrity show. SO much fun. I totally remember taking this photo and laying in my bed with the sun on my face before going to work. I worked in Liberty Village for an online gaming & casino company. Made lots of good friends there. The thing I love most about his app it that it helps your memory. So many things happen in a day that it’s hard to keep track. I found ten cents yesterday. This is my two cents.

I love Instagram. It made me think different. More creative. That’s why I like it. I found new, inspiring people and I like to see their photos. See how they look at life, through their lens, through a different filter. I have been publishing for about a decade and have thousands of photos on the Internet. I’ve had my smile photo used in a Facebook ad (total surprise!), a photo of me as a bot (read that story here), and TBH I don’t really mind if my fav bar wants to share my photos beside a Molson ad or on a billboard. A LOT of awesome things have happened from me sharing freely. If you want to own everything, write a blog. If you want to create, make great things and share them. I feel like Internet years are dog years. I’ve been meeting young bloggers more lately and I feel Internet old. I’m up for a Lifetime Achievement Award for christs sake! (Thanks for the Nom guys!) I’ve found myself saying “back in the old days of blogging/social/2.0 things were/it was like [ insert something with no rules, regs, or privacy concerns]. BTW, OOTD on that old Instagram of Queen West is Overgram single photo edit x4, with Diptic collage. It’s more about what you are doing than where you are sharing it. Ok bye. Have a great day.

We are all guilty of it, taking things for granted because of the amazing lives we have and forgetting that millions of people in the world have much less than we do. About a year ago, my Mum returned from a one year sailing expedition to the Bahamas. They spent and entire year living on the boat sailing to the Bahamas from Ontario and back. One of the things I remember Mum saying once she returned to work, despite missing her sailing life, was “But CASIE, we have FRESH RUNNING WATER!“. I always remind myself of that moment when I’m about to complain that my XBOX isn’t connecting to the TV, or my wifi going down, or a chipped nail, or my iPhone app crashing, or when they don’t have my fav soup at the coffee shop that day. Blunnies Come in Shoes Now: These are my new pair!

The other week I recieved an email about the new Blundstone shoes. I’ve wanted a pair of boots for ages, so I replied right away and set up a time to visit the store. Blundstone boots come from Tasmania, Australia (I’ve been there) and all the shoe styles (like traditional boots) are unisex. Tried on both traditional boot in round & square toes, and the new shoe style. I went with the new shoe. They’re cute. Shoes retail for $149/pair and are available in Blundstone retailers across Canada and blundstone.ca. I got mine at the store on Queen West. Of course 😉 They come in three different colours. I picked chocolate suede. Ian Heaps of Blundstone Footwear said ““The new shoe style is perfect for those who want the Blundstone quality and comfort in a lighter format. “The shoes are great for around the office, but also transition well into the evening. They provide lasting comfort with Blundstone’s signature “slip on/slip off” convenience. Today is Mum’s birthday. I took her on a shopping spree at 3F (I’m on the Board of Directors there) and got her a couple new outfits. KISS Concert at Moslon Amphitheatre

Saw KISS last night. It was pretty epic. They have the best shoes & outfits. Gene Simmons tongue in real life was so long. He was also wearing a metal attachment that looked like a spine on his man parts, it caused a sea of screams in the crowd. The show was super good. Impressed with the lights & pyro. I have never actually seen Molson Amp THAT packed. The crowd leaving was so tame, like a flock of sheep. Totally last minute totally awesome! Happy Friday!

Hi, hi! Had a nice coffee on the patio in the sunshine. Got this cute heart shirt from Winners last night and it ripped already. Problem with all the sheer is it is so delicate. Head scarf was a vintage gift. I’m doing a presentation at an ad agency about creative blogging this afternoon. Fun! I love going into new offices and throwing energy all over the place. Huzzahhhhhh! Beerfest 2011 – Breakfast Beer from 1188 on Vimeo. This weekend is Beerfest! Stoked to get beer’d with a bunch of babes, boys, bands, and friends. You know I love my Instagram. Well, yesterday I spent a few hours playing around with my latest iPhone app Flipagram. It turns your Instragram photos into video. Made these of the boys & girls I’ve shot since getting iPhone. Recognize anyone? Then I came across this Instagram RAP. Yes, RAP. It’s by 21 year old cutie Allday (Tom Gaynor) in Australia. There’s another Instagram rap by MikeyBolts (YouTuber) but he’s not as cute or hipster or Australian. I downloaded his album. Producer C1 reminds me of this Maori mega babe I met in NZ. Thanks to the WONDERS of the Internet, Flipagram saw my Tweet, posted my vid on their Instagram & Facebook, connected with me via DM and now we’re friends. SUMMER: @PepsiCanada taste challenge, #freebeer, patios!

This is the big rig that will be travelling across the country seeing millions of people go through the Ultimate Pepsi Taste Challenge. It converts from a truck to a full on Pepsi station to hang out in. They call it “Poptimus Prime“. This time last year I was hosting my own little Pepsi party for Pepsi Throwback. I’m sure you remember THIS: The team has a whole bunch of stuff planned and there’s a good chance you’ll run into their young energetic group assembled with people from across Canada. This is a full 360 of what I saw at the media preview taken from iPhone. You’ll notice they’re really using technology to make the ol’ taste test we knew as kid, super modern.
