Events | Romance Anyone? Toronto Sex Show

Loving this remix of Tove Lo’s ‘Stay High. I put all the recent songs from my Shazam (music discovery app) and put them in an Rdio playlist. You can check it out here. “I eat my dinner in my bathtub, Then I go to sex clubs, Watching freaky people gettin’ it on, It doesn’t make me nervous, If anything I’m restless, Yeah, I’ve been around and I’ve seen it all” Next weekend I’m going to The Everything To Do With Sex Show for my first time even thought it’s been in Toronto for 15 years. The three day event runs October 24th-26th at The Direct Energy Centre and features all kinds of seminars, art, wellness, celebrities, and other fun stuff to do with sex and romance. It’s a great time of year for this show because we’re about to start hibernation and if we have a winter like last year, we’ll all be spending heaps of time at home. And hopefully not alone! I creeped the event website and found this group of cool peeps I can vouch for that are worth checking out at the show: Actor, musician, gamer, and bar owner Rainbow Francks Artist extraordinaire Jessica Gorlicky UFC babe Elias Theodorou (met him at Todd’s show last month) Katrina…

Cat Footwear SS 2014 | New Shoes For Me and YOU!

Hi guys! Let me tell you about my new shoes and how you can win a pair! I recently got to check out the latest from Cat Footwear and was once again impressed with the stylish and dainty yet rugged styles. You’ll recognize the logo from construction equipment and big machines but little did you know they also make really nice shoes. You might remember a while back when I got my first pair Cat of boots, Stella. The leather is SO soft and I wore these babies for an entire winter and walked all over the city, and to different cities on my travels. They are very comfortable and as time goes on, they age like a fine wine. Comfortable shoes are the best kind, Vessi footwear have plenty of comfortable shoes which are also 100% waterproof and you can wear them on any occasion, including those water adventures that you like to go on with friends and family. From the Spring 2014 look-book I picked the ‘Mahoney’ in Nile. They are a clean classic oxford with a nice solid sole and leather upper. I’ve got a pair with your name on them! Buying a pair of new shoes…

Win an iPad Air from @155Redpath! #NeighbourGood

I’m a huge fan of doing good and bring joy to the lives of others. So, this blog post is part of sharing greatness! My friends at 88Creative work with 155 Redpath and they are giving away brand new 16GB iPad Air! I’d love for one of you guys to win it. To celebrate the local community and do a little good along the way, they came up with #NeighbourGood. What’s #NeighbourGood? It’s a free coffee handed to you on your way to work, a good deed done on your lunch break, or a kind gesture from a stranger on your commute home. And at 155 Redpath, it’s our way of being a great neighbour to our future residents. A few years ago (actually 2009!) about 10 friends and I organized Pay It it Backward Day where over 400 people purchased a coffee for the person BEHIND them in line. This broke a world record for the most acts of coffee kindness ever (at the time). It was an awesome example of NeighbourGood! It was super fun too. This is my sis (Raptors girl beside me) and some babes  that day. It was so much fun! How to Win the iPad Air from 155…
