Let me introduce you to my new friend, Bicyclette Boutique on Queen Street. I met the darling owner Paige on Twitter and after browsing the site, I knew we would get along. The shop is filled with pretty things, vintage, white space, foreign style, mirrors and heaps of shiny things. Paige opened the shop in March, although she’s had two pop-up shops and an online presence for a while. It’s totally my kind of shop. Look at all these things. I wish I had my closet organized like a store. Paige calls it “urban meets fairytale“. See, so me. *sprinkles glitter* I was trying on outfits for the Fashion Connect panel: 265 people have tickets. Cripes. The night is about fashion & technology so, the other day I called out on Twitter to see if someone wanted to outfit me for the night. That’s how Paige & I met. Her twitter is @shopbicyclette. I love meeting people who love what they do. We had a great chat today. Hi Paige! She was at the Blog Stars talk I did last year with Raymi, Sean & Carly. Nice to know she’s had an eye on my blog. I heard about her pop up shop last summer via Twitter 😉 How great is the internet? Pretty awesome great. The shop had a steady flow of girls in & out while I was there. Then, who walked in the door? Only the lovely Carla…who I see EVERYWHERE! I’m gonna start her Jukari & dance classes the week after next at King West Fitness. I really need to get my bike fixed before then. Hehe Bicyclette Boutique, bike talk, no relation corelation. I’m in a charity auction for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. There are 20 people in the whole auction. I have no idea who the other girls are but, I do know you will be able to bid on bloggers Zach Bussey & Dan Levy and young darling Brock McLaughlin. Maybe I will find a date myself? Remember when Scar Jo sold a date on e-bay for charity? That was kinda hot, wonder how much she went for? Oh y’know, about $40,000 USD! Let’s hope I break $100. The event is hosted by Ally & Dani from the Girls of TO blog and all proceeds to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. See the press release here. I was on a skipping team for the H&S when I was in Primary school so when they asked, I totally said yes. I’m nervous but mostly about what I am going to wear. Ah! today was a full on day. scooted out to a meeting about a new project. had lunch at this cute place called Bld on Toronto Street. like it there. oh hai, lemme take this call while i take my own photo aka work. walked by and say this guy remmebering. made me sad. i paused and thought about all the soldiers who have fought for our freedom and made the ultimate sacrifice, their lives. i thought about grandad and grandpa and my family and mum and all the things that i’m grateful for. so many things. thank you for being part of my life. this is nana and grandad and mum and my aunt & uncles. i bet grandad never thought he would be on the internet! amazing eh grandad?! love and miss you. ok onto the next stop… popped into fashionably yours where i was most fabulously styled by jay strut for raymi’s 10 year anniversary party tonight at wrongbar. so many great finds in there. it’s located at 632 queen street west west of bathurst. go there say HI to JANET and JAY for me when you do. they are lovely and nice. oh what to wear? i tried on some seriously lovely dresses. it came down to the fuchsia betsy johnson or the little sequin french connection number. i look like a huge dork…i am. get used to it. i want to walk in your shoes, yes yes i do. one day i will have a boyfriend who can wear these shoes with style and look hot. and the winner is…SEQUINS. kinda knew it, i love sequins so. probably all the years i spent wearing them as a young ballerina from the age of three for ten years that did it. ok time to get ready for…

Love this tune. How great of a movie is Beaches? I remember watching in in the basement on a Saurday morning, early, with my sister. Sad but so happy their friendship those two. The shirt above is Cybelle from NZ. My fav Orly nail polish in shiny Black Out and Joe Fresh matte lipstick in Poppy. A couple of my recently acquired new favourites. Went to Shopgirls Gallery Boutique the other day and got some Yoga Jeans. Great little shop it is, located in Parkdale and carries all kinds of Canadian designers. All the staff are artists and they have gallery space on the walls. They have a blog, Twitter and are on FB too. Michelle the owner took me around and we perused all the Canadian designers. Look at her in the gorgeous collar. I want! These are the Yoga Jeans I picked, signature limited edition made for Shopgirls exclusively, down to the last couple pairs ones. Check me out, Shopgirls logo there. This is the standard lunge test. It works, they are SUPER stretchy. Wont lose their shape. Retail around $110 which is totes reasonable. I never wear jeans and wore them all day yesterday, deff Casie approved. The best pants I’ve worn in a while. Go to the boutique and get some of your own it is at 1342 Queen Street West. They are probably open call 416 534 7467 to check first. It reminded me of a little shop I might see in Ponsonby, Auckland filled with New Zealand designers. the show last night was hot. it was in a theatre, the place was packed. stylish people lined the streets in the cold. i was watching on twitter to see when they were getting started, late of course. got the driver to drop us at the door and we breezed through the crowd. sat front row, middle beside lovelies from fashion around the world. the show was more than just fashion, it was a production. the best models from the week were in it. the clothes were my fav, it was very sexy, i got a rose from the bridal bouquet at the end. lucky me 🙂 hung out with kms on ponsonby road after the stolen girlfriend’s club after party. that party was like a night out queen street west in TO, heaps of hot hipsers. good times. having the best time this week. extremely tired though. need a rest. ok bye xo

Met a friend early for coffee, planning awesomism for 2011. Can you believe 2012 is just over a year away? Go live up your life man, might be over soon. Got my hair done, back to blonde roots and trim. I love hair done day, Darren Kwik is my stylist. He is really good and he gives great style. He told me the other day that a girl came in and asked for “the Casie Stewart”. Love it. Let’s start an army, bloundetourage style. Posting this via WordPress Mobile on Motorola Backflip from Telus. This phone is pretty rad, good photos, love the apps, have all my accounts hooked up so I stay connected. Big thanks to Telus and Motorola, I’ve been on the network since March and as a Telus first timer, I’m happy. I’ve been typing this walking up Queen Street West and hardly looking up. Just about got clothes lined by a window washer lady with a bucket. Suck it, I vacuumed earlier with the new unit. It’s nice. There are lots of babes in this city, eh? You know when you’re being all emo and it rains like it did today? Yeah. Meh, ok now and then. Didn’t last too long. I saw a rainbow and was tweeting friends about waaaahmbulance and Randeep drew & tweeted this. Totally RAD-deep. I love drawings. I drew the advice below. If it rains again I am totally going for a walk. Lazy watching In her Shoes movie and doing stuff. At the end Cameron Diaz reads this beauty at her sister’s wedding. It’s one of my favourites.
