Events | The Most Pride in the World

Have you seen these yet? They’re beautiful! This weekend I had Saturday morning coffee with Andrew Dobson. He’s the blogger babe behind dobbernation.com and regular writer for Metro News Canada. We checked out the rainbow crosswalks in The Village and gabbed about adventure. It’s so lovely to chat one on one with a friend in the sun. I almost got a ticket from this hot cop but told him I was getting a photo and jumped in the car with a smile. Toronto Pride is extra special this year because it’s World Pride and we’re hosting! I’ve been going to Pride since Dad took Jenie and I when we were kids. Have some really great moments and blogged about them around this time last year.  From now to the end of the month is crazy time w/MMVA, NXNE , Pop Up Perrier, 2 speaking gigs AND Pride. I’ll have heaps of stories to share and it will feel great when July long weekend rolls around. Here’s a few of my fav photos from Toronto Pride over the years. Thank googness for Google! All the pride photos I’ve every posted rounded up in one quick search. Toronto Pride Memories Jenie + Me, Stewart sister power! Last year w/ Sean on Church Street With love, CASIE

But There Are 365 Days of the Year, Honey!

I have this coffee shop that I regularly pass by on my way to work where the regulars always comment on my shoes. They don’t know anything about me except that I work in the area, so, they nicknamed me ‘Shoes’. One husband said he doesn’t understand why his wife has SO MANY shoes, “she only has two feet!” he said. I was quick witted in my reply,  “but there are 365 days of the year, honey!’. Laughter ensued a the table and throughout the shop.  I left with a smile from ear to ear. Shoeme.ca recently asked me to be an Ambassador and offered me a $150 gift card for the site. In my first visit I was pretty impressed with the prices and selection. I’m all about cute flats for summer so I was stoked to see Keds and Converse. I picked out these two pairs of Keds (as seen on Taylor Swift) and a cute pair of Hush Puppies all for my $150 (shipping included). If you’ve not visited the site you might be offered a discount I’m looking at these leather sandals and these white Converse – Dainty knowing I really do not need them, but… What is it about shoes that makes us feel this way? #Toronto is ready for spring: Check 28 street style shots from Trinity Bellwoods this weekend http://t.co/S69ykVpjNy pic.twitter.com/14ccutcGp0 — FASHION Magazine (@FashionCanada) May 18, 2014 I was wearing these lovely little red & white guys on my birthday in Trinity Bellwoods the other day. Don’t mind that my shoes are a little dirty. I wore them before I had time to take their photo. I love a little summer dress and cute, yet comfortable shoes. Apparently so does she. Lemme tell ya, I feel like Taylor Swift in my new Keds. BTW her campaign is really cute.  🙂 <3…

Ain’t Gonna Stop the Rain by Complaining

Rain, rain go away… I was off work yesterday and If you follow me on Twitter you will know I had a tiny sliver of glass stuck in my foot. It was SO PAINFUL! I went to the walk-in then to the XRAY and by the end of the day I was at another doctor. I had a needle that hurt like CRAZY into my foot to freeze it before the glass was removed. It’s better today, thank god. I arrived to the office today to find 2 boxes of shoes on my desk. I’ll be sharing those with you later this week. I also received a sweet package from Blow Vapor of nicotine-free e-cigarettes. They caused quite a stir in the office when everyone came to check ’em out. You might want to check them out too if you’re not able to get you’re favorite brand from somewhere like snus deutschland. Major office excitement over my sweet package from @BlowVapor. Everybody wants to try ’em! #ecigs pic.twitter.com/4Rq9Dvrunj — CASIE STEWART (@casiestewart) April 29, 2014 Thanks to Sean for being a big help yesterday. Helped me with the car AND got me a burger from The Drake Hotel for dinner. What a legend. He was my Man Crush Monday 🙂 It’s super rainy and yuk in Toronto today. I ordered my fav pasta (Grilled Chicken Pene) from Magic Oven to the office just so I could stay in side (and not have to walk far!). I’ve always loved this Mark Twain quote and whenever we have a real crap day I think about it… Put a smile on your face and flash it around 🙂 CASIE

You Light Up My Life, Sunshine

I’ve had this coat for what seems like a million years. I got it at Gap when I worked at the Fairview Park Mall store during highschool. I guess it was almost a million years. Took some photos with my GoPro this morning and didn’t realize there was water droplets on the camera. Got some good news about a project this morning and as I usually do, called up Mum with a big smile on my face. She can always tell that something good happened by sound of my voice. The funny thing about this tweet is that the stupid basic pants from Zara just got a broken zipper. SO BASIC. haha. Made me laugh. Shut up Zara. #basic pic.twitter.com/dSwcq4ACgM — CASIE STEWART (@casiestewart) April 22, 2014 Tonight Lauren and I are going to a documentary about selfies, we are gonna take so many selfies. I’m pretty sure she’s in it. I remember meeting up one day and her saying ‘I was just in a movie about selfies’. Appropriate. I just ate this taco Tuesday magic for lunch. It was delicious. Here comes the sun 🙂  <3 CASIE

Fresh Faced + Feeling Good | Dermalogica + Frank Love

Since I went for that Dermalogica facial at the start of April I’ve been using a new toner and moisturizer. It had been ages since I’d exfoliated and the this past winter made my skin extra dry. I purchased a new medium weight moisturizer after the facial and the cover tint (light foundation) I’ve been wearing lately has SPF 20. Thought I’d take a second to say my face feels SO GREAT. It’s never been so soft and I’ve been wearing less makeup. The facial I had a was a good scrub and polish designed just for my skin type. I want to stay looking young and fresh faced forever! I was invited to test run the Little Grey Pass program from Dermalogica and I can’t wait to see how my skin feels once I go through all six treatments. You can order your very own Little Grey Pass right here and learn about how you can score a bunch of free products by taking great care of your skin. Another product I’ve been LOVING is Frank Coffee Scrub from Australia. This stuff is amazing for your bod. I discovered the company via Instagram and ordered the product right away based on their social media. I actually just ordered packet of the coconut/grapeseed so I have one for the cottage this summer. While I’m on this train of things I love, I wasn’t sure how much I’d be into an electric toothbrush but I got sent the Phillips DiamondClean electric toothbrush a few months ago and IT’S AWESOME. I went back to a regular toothbrush for a weekend getaway recently and I was so happy to come home to it lol. Got Your Halloween Face On? Wash It Off with This!

Fake blood, cheap spray on hair colour (I’m wearing purple today), copious amounts of dark eyeshadow…whatever you might be putting on your face, you wanna make sure you’re lookin’ fresh tomorrow without remnants of gunk on your hair or skin. I’ve been using Dermologica products for a while now and shared a few favs the other week (here). I highly recommend picking up  Dermologica Precleanse to get yourself ready for a new month tomorrow. It’s gentle on your skin, hydrating, and really gets the gunk out. I’ve had blood, liquid latex, dark black makeup, sparkles, and more on me this month and nothing is as lovely on your skin as this. Pick up some at Shoppers or your fav drug store or visit buy.dermalogica.ca for future reference. Halloween Face? No Problemo! Red hairspray, glitter gel, Dracula hair paste? Apply to dry hair, emulsify, rinse and shampoo. False lashes? Precleanse is excellent for removing lash glue. Precleanse removes stick-on tattoos.  Eyeliner or dark circles, no problem! White paste all over your face (or your children’s) – don’t go to bed looking like a ghost! Fake Blood? A few drops will do the trick.  Walked past a kids costume parade at lunch in my giraffe costume and it was so awesome. We wished each other HAPPY HALLOWEEN with smiles and waves. Super cute!  Painted the EmBot like a fairy princess. Can’t WAIT to trick or treating tonight. So cute. Best costume of the day! Scary Sury! Last night’s makeup! These guys (girls?) are gonna need some help getting that gunk off. Some tunes for tonight that aren’t super cheeeeezy old halloween jamz. Enjoy! Please be safe out there if going trick or treating or partying. You never know what golbins & ghouls you’ll run into! <3 CASIE

WMCFW: Here’s How I Prepped for A Busy Week!

I had a lovely and relaxing weekend. Went to Screemers on Friday night for a good scare and spent Saturday afternoon at Hammam Spa. I’ve gone there a few times lately as a way to treat myself to some relaxation. this time I went a little early to relax in the steam room before my full body mud wrap. My skin felt like silk after! Thank you Hammam Spa for this little gift bag! I had tweeted them the day before about the 20% Stylicity discount (available now!) and they left me some goodies. Oh how I love the Internet! This little pink makeup bag is from Ted Baker London and I keep it in my purse to freshen up my look since I often head to events right after work. In it are always a few of my fav things: Essence Nailpolish – dries fast! Essence mascara – not expensive but great volume Rescue Remedy – if you have anxiety, this stuff is for you! Elizabeth Grant blue stick for redness – this stuff is great! Burts Bees – staple! Elizabeth Grant dark circle concealer Dermologica Age Smart primer & tinted moisturizer – both with SPF Moroccanoil Moisturizer stays at home but it’s great and smells wonderful I recieved a few things in the mail this week to get me ready for Fashion Week. A new toothbrush from Phillips and a whitening pen. I take really good care of my teeth so these were a treat! In other news, I was in an electric toothbrush commercial when I was 16. It aired in the USA, the kind you’ll see many a Dentist in Manchester and other dentists and surgeries within the US of A fully endorse and say they can be the best for your oral hygiene. These D.…

START SOMETHING.

* Found this post in Drafts, it’s about setting goals and writing things down.  I wrote is January 2012, I said I wanted to go to England and that same year i went in December. Proof writing things down really works! Get a good sleep tonight and roll into the office tomorrow with a smile on your face. 🙂 xo CASIE Watching Helvetica right now. This movie is so good. I want to go to Germany. I love the accents and style. I want to go to England too. Tattoos and travelling are totally addictive. So is documenting. The space between wanting to do something and doing it starts with writing it down. I always write things down. Get a pen from your damn drawer and write it down. I’ve definitely accomplished more goals that were written down vs. not written down. That’s all for now. buy sildenafil online buy tadalafil online buy vardenafil online
