Fashion Preview: Swarovski Tropical Paradise 2013

Last night in between work, Fashion Week shows, and an awesome event at The Spoke Club, I stopped into the Shangri-La Hotel to preview the new Swarovski ‘Tropical Paradise’ collection. There were so many nice things. I feel like I say that every single time I go to a Swarovski preview ex. here, here, here, and here. They have some nice glasses too. This photo does neither of us justice! I LOVE that beetle. All photos taken with current mobile device the HTC One S on Telus. It has an awesome camera. I kinda miss android a little. I uploaded the images all using WordPress for Android. great lil’ app there. The interface on Android is nicer than iPhone. TIFF DAY 1 – Tastemakers Lounge & Swarovski 007 Red Carpet

Whoa. It’s here. Today might busiest day in my 2012 calendar. Not. Even. Kidding. If I can make all my appointments and events I will question my humanity. Am I robot/alien? You will never know. (Shhh you in the back there, keep your secrets!) I have so much gratitude to give for my sister being PA (Production Assistant) on my show today, BMW sponsoring drivers for our Fashion’s Night Out team, tech related media interview in the AM, so may awesome events, my hair growing (don’t laugh), having my nails done (this is serious), and my bestie Lozzie Lauren O’Nizz being invited to all the same things as me. Thank you universe. Yesterday I went to media day at the TIFF Tastemakers Lounge put on by Rock-It Promo and I was SPOILED. Rotten! TIFF is truly more fun than a birthday or holidays because all the media friends are out, everyone is receiving gifts, and celebrating. Films take the first place for TIFF but trust me that fashion is a verrrrry close second. This is the eighth annual Tastemakers Lounge, it’s a Canadian gifting suite hosted during the Toronto International Film Festival. It brings local and international guests to indulge in exceptional products that Tastemakers Lounge is known for. This was my third year and perhaps the best! Kingdom of Jewels – @Swarovski F/W 2012/13

Last night I went to the Swarovski FW 2012 preview and touched a zillion jewels fit for a king, fot a kingdom really! This Hello Kitty is 1/88 that was made by hand and valued over $10,ooo. See ya later byeeee! I’ll just take this kitty home 😛 I really love the skully items in the mens collection. Thank you Swarovski Canada for this beautful necklace. This gold/black volcanic ash setting is seen in FW 2012 on several items. I’m at the Darrek Kwik Studio right now getting my hair done before heading home to get ready for Toronto Fashion’s 25th Anniversary gala. Swarovski is sending some BEAUTIFUL jewellery for me to borrow, celebrity style, for tonight’s event. Can’t wait to get dressed up! Swarovski’s TIFF Fashion Suite @ the Four Seasons

I was invited by Swarovski to the Swarovski Fashion Suite at the Four Seasons. We got to preview the FW 2011/2012 “Wings of Paradise” collection. So Beautiful. I might borrow something to wear to a TIFF party this week. EEEEEEEEEEEEK!! Keri was invited too. We had a private tour of the crystals including the Daniel Swarovski Catwalk Collection. This is the one and only appearance in Canada. I would love love love love love to wear one of these pieces. They’re all one of a kinda and not for sale either. This Is My Life | Yesterday Felt Like a Day and a Half

Yesterday was an action packed day that started with me picking up this beautiful new pink iPhone 6s. THANK you Telus! I was due to get a new phone and my old iPhone 6 has been cracked for at LEAST a month. I’ve been using my new Samsung tablet heaps for drawing lately and totally love it. Spent a couple hours at the office before heading to Roy Thompson Hall for a private sit down with with the Indigo Girls. No, not Nikki! Although I did have a real heart on for that song when it came out. Keri and I played it on the repeater and danced in our jogging pants. Last week I was received this awesome little portable, bluetooth speaker. Took it to the hot tub lounge and hellooooo, it’s so loud. Sounds wicked! Viva Las Casie

I reckon three days in Vegas is too long. I’m over it. Spent most of last night going to lame parties and taking taxis. The coolest thing is that we found the ‘secret pizza’ place in the Cosmo and had a pizza party. It is hidden behind a sushi place and outside of it is a pool table with gorgeous vintage furniture. I drank PBR and played with my iPhone while the others played pool. There were a bunch of celebrities at one of the parties but I really don’t care. That chandelier is the worlds largest Swarovski. It’s beautiful and spans three stories with stairs and an elevator. I had a great sleep and today I’m planning to walk the strip and check out the sights. I would love to see Chris Angel!

Friday I’m in Love

First post using WordPress app on iPhone. I love this thing so much. It’s true once you go Mac you never go back! Had a beautiful day at home yesterday. In he evening went to Swarovski Spring Summer 2012 preview with Keri and a bunch of other Toronto fashion bloggers. I have a very special gif in the making as a thank you for the lovely gift they gave me. Ditched going to any other events to watch movies with Sammy. Inspiration is very important to me, if you’re here, you probably already know that. I’m feeling really inspired knowing that I’ll be in the ocean and hot weather next week. As it turns out, she does PR for a really cool German luggage company and I’ll have a new RIMOWA suitcase tomorrow. Here we go… TIFF get the party started

Feelin’ a little frazzled TBH but it’s manageable. Woke up early after dreaming about red carpets and celebrities. Had a 40 min call with client before 9am and I’m ready to rock. Gonna try make bids this week so I can take you along to fun stuff. Invites today arrived for Nikki Beach & Diet Coke parties by courier. Got new boots too! This morning I’ve got an appointment at the Tastemakers Gifting Lounge, a photo shoot and then meeting Swarovski tonight. Strict time management is in order since I also have heaps of work to get done in between all the fun. Ordered new biz cards, get ’em tomorrow. Stickers are ready to go too. CASIE ring needs bling. I want more things with my name on it. Anyone out there wanna get on that amazing opportunity? I’ll be famous before I die. I’ve always been that way. In grade six I made the ‘Casie Watch’, ‘Casie’ brand clothes in uni and all kids of other little things over the years. Hmm, would you buy it? Drink my koolaid. Have I told you how much I love my clean room? It’s like a quiet digital sanctuary lounge equipped with bed, tv, cable, ipad, monitors, phones, clothes and art. Basically heaven. Can you spot my boyfriend Ken? I love him. Rachel tweeted me these cupcakes today. She knows how much I loooooove the Young & the Restless. My life goal is basicaly to play myself on the show before I die. BTW if you see these earrings kicking around please let me know. her eyes make the stars look like they’re not shining

This week I got these darling little earings from Charity Diamonds. They’re 10k gold studs covered with Swarovski crystals and come in a bunch of colours. I chose black, cute eh? Charity Diamonds a Canadian jewelry company that sells conflict free jewelry and donates 50% of it’s proceeds to charity. Pretty rad considering diamonds are a girls best friend and giving to charity makes it that much better.
