New makeup for me, Givenchy! Thank you #LVMH xo

My job has perks and today was a good one. This morning team Givenchy & LVMH had a few people at Sephora in Yorkville to see the new makeup products. Now that’s MY kinda breakfast. I’ve been doing work with Givenly LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennesy) for the last few years. They’ve been really great to me & my blog with giveaways, goodies and donating prizes for charity events. Fake Ads V1.0: Givenchy Play for Women

Photos by Lynsie Roberts Remember last year when I posted about Givenchy Play? I kept the men’s cologne cause it smelled sooooo good. I still wear it sometimes. Last week a gift bag arrived from Givenchy with Play for Women. Lynsie and I decided to have a little fun the other day, she took these pix of me with the bottle. The bottle is pretty neat ,it’s not made out of glass so good for taking on the road or keeping in your purse. You can smell it on myself or Lynsie before you can get it at the Bay next month. I love having my photo taken. It’s been a while since I actually modelled and it’s fun and not nearly as easy as it looks. I’ve got a new vacuum arriving soon (hopefully this week). Saw my boyfriend yesterday. Was out and about around downtown and ran into him on the street. Love when he calls me ‘doll’. I love this cover by these two. They’ve got such a great sound. Last year, about this time, I wrote about Givenchy Play, it was brand new and no one had it yet. Last night at the Buckler show/party for LGFW I got a mini size in my giftbag and I really hope more dudes start wearing it. Buckler link goes to the FB page, their site plays music when you click on it and I hate linking to sites like that. Great style for men though, I recommend checking it out. It’s made for a man but it smells oh so good, I’ve had it in my own rotation. I rewarded Ryan, one of our interns at work with a Play giftset recently. The package arrived safe and sound in Hillzy’s hands on Friday. I sent her a handwritten note on big colorful paper with some other stuff and a special edition of Very Irresistible called Summer Vibrations. It doesn’t come out until April 2010. I love getting handwritten letters, the main reason I responded to Hillzy’s call for a penpal. This year I’ve already send a couple packages out and I want to send more. It makes me happy to put stuff together and ship it off. Who doesn’t love getting mail? Liked this: To be irresistible is not something you can choose: you just are! the vibrator finally died

Remember last year when I got that big box of vibrating Mascaras? I’ll never forget that day… Well, the vibrator for it finally died this week. This mascara takes the cake as my favorite everyday of all the ones I tried in 2009. I gave a bunch of them to friends and we all loved it. So, given that it’s a little bit more expensive than what I usually buy, it’s totally worth it. Now, I’m onto using Covergirl Lash Blast daily and Givenchy’s fancy blue one for special occasions.

holy effing elf shit, it’s december already!

Doesn’t it seem like January was just the other day? Urgh. Well, anyhooters… Feeling positive and ready for the new month. I just got this new stuff in the mail from Givenchy… I can’t wait to test out all these goddies…The mascara is blue/purple. The shadow is black/metallic. The gloss is pink/sparkley. Yes, I love. (love blogging!) It felt like Christmas at the office yesterday, two bags were delivered and one big one with goodies for Heart for the Holidays on Friday. Remember to get a ticket, if you can’t come then make a donation, and lets all have a good time. I’ll be one of Santa’s little helpers doing good deeds and drinking holiday eggnog juice. I keep all the fragrances out so the girls can try them when they come over. This one was an instant hit. At first spray is citrussy and refreshing then once you let it sit on your skin for a few, it’s gorgeous. It’s right up there with Givenchy Play that I also wear (even though it’s for men). where every little thing had its own secret life

I’m sitting here eating a big fatty poutine and my mind is racing with all the things I have to get done. Spent the weekend doing fun stuff with friends. It was Jeff’s birthday and Karrera came over and tested me for allergies too. More on that stuff later. I’ve got heaps of emails that need my attention, not to mention all the work I have to get done at the office. I’m not complaining, I truly love it, I just wish there were more hours in a day or I could function without sleeping. I had an awesome week last week. I got asked to attend a Young Entrepreneurs Conference this weekend as a Social Media Star & MTV girl. I’m working on a part for a pilot with YTV. Paid writing gigs are becoming more frequent. I’ve got some holiday giveaways planned for December with some Givenchy and Burts Bees for you. AND people keep asking me for advice on social media. Finally, my hard work is paying off!! On a naughtier note, I watched Sex Rehab last night. I saw a promo for it at the office and though it would be interesting…it is. I’ll be tuning in every Sunday for therapy. haha I also wanna be Lady Gaga in Bad Romace. zomg. One more thing, Keri’s blog party is tomorrow night at 6:30. a brief interruption

In case you were wondering, or if you weren’t, I’m gonna tell you anyways.. I’m still vibrating my eyelashes every morning with the Maybelline mascara. The mascara is really quite good. Been a while since I actually liked one for the product vs. the price. Smelling ever so sexy in Givenchy Play. Play comes out in August and features Justin Timberlake in sexy photos. Maybe you remember my sexy ones to match? I’ve got a new pair of prescription glasses on the way from Glasses USA thank-you-very-much. Black rimmed ones like an old man but good for a young lady. Tomorrow night is #Genyto at the London Tap house downtown. I’m looking forward to seeing smiling faces like the ones in this photo of @kathrynboland,@rlangdon, @MichelSavoie & @kevrichard . it has its benefits

I realized this morning as I put on my new vibrating mascara followed by my unreleased Givenchy fragrance that blogging really does have its benefits. Mum reminds me sometimes. I’m always thinking about the next step. Last year I got a heap of cool jazz. Last night I got invited to Dermologica thanks to Marie from Karmacake.ca. I left with a whole skin care routine specific to what I like/need to make my face look extra lovely. It’s fun to meet other bloggers and this time it was all girls who were all very nice. I’m excited to see where this bloggy takes me, it’s growing and I’m having lots of fun writing it. I’m also thankful for the opportunities it’s given me! I like going back and reading crazy thoughts that came out of my head and I often wonder “what was I thinking?”. It’s part of the fun of having a crappy memory! Sometimes when I have a bad day or feel like crap it’s comments from you that completely change my mood and make me smile. Thanks for reading it. i like stuff! i like stuff!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH YES! I got some goodies today. They arrived in a big white gift bag with my name on it: I opened the bag and much to my surprise was a beautiful 50ml Ange ou Demon eau de toilette, 200ml bath gel and for my special man a 50ml Pour Homme eau de toilette spray. How awesome! I love testing out new jazz and getting presents delivered too. Makes me very happy! Ange ou Demon smells very soft and light. Not flowery or vanilla, I hate those smells. Its light enough that I could wear it all the time. It is not as strong as Hot Couture that I received a few months ago. I liked it also, but I reckon it’s more evening wear. Gimme hotness ♥

Speaking of hotness….. I’ve received a bottle and gift bag from Givenchy not too long ago containing Hot Couture EDT. At first smell, I loved it. You smell GREAT!

I recently received the Givenchy tote in the photo (right) containing the new HOT Couture scent from Givenchy. It smells awesome it has a very light woody, spicy scent to it that lasts the whole day. I’ve had complements, so trust me on this one! I don’t like scents that are too overpowering or make me sneeze and this one is light enough to keep you feeling elegant & feminine all day. It contains raspberry nectar, magnolia and amberered vetiver. This Fall you can get your black Givenchy tote complete with a cute pink notebook at Shoppers Drug Mart. It retails about $100 but babes, its Givenchy! Check it out at Holts, Eaton Centre or Shoppers next time you’re passing by.I’m sure you’ll enjoy it ♥
