This one time I tried to do a cleanse. I made/drank the cayenne pepper, lemon, honey, water blend for about 8 hours. I hated it. I was so hungry after a long starving day at the office that I grabbed a big mac on the way home. I used to work in an office in the financial district and wear a suit every day. I had a meeting each morning called “Red Zone” where we went over accounts and urgent business. We had “Red Zone” again at 2pm and I worked really long hours. One day my boss called me into his office and said something like “Case, you don’t seem like you’re having fun anymore?“. I wasn’t. I was doing freelance PR on the side, I had a blog, I hated my job. I told him I didn’t like what I was doing and I thought about quitting but needed my two weeks pay. He said I could take my two weeks and be done end of day. I was thrilled! Freedom at last. I worked at Hemingways for a few months, a well known Kiwi restaurant in Yorkville. It was way more fun and I made the same money. Anyhow this whole story started with the idea that I am once again revisiting the idea of doing a cleanse this week. Starting Thursday, Total Cleanse is sending me 3 days of juice to drink and I’m kinda excited about it. (Starting it right after a Wednesday’s Jack Daniels party.)  Our condo gym gets new treadmills Friday which is good motivation to finally get back to the gym. Yippee. Have you ever done a cleanse? Tips, tricks. Anything is appreciated. I know some of you kids out there are real healthy.

I wear this on my head all the time. Not for any religious reason or anything, makes me feel safe/good with head/ears covered. I googled ‘covered head sacred brain’ and the first link was something to do with Kabbalah. I just got a new red string. I remmeber this guy I knew, Andre and he always wore a hat, he was a spiritual healer and said he could feel energy going out his head when it was exposed. I dunno if that is true but I kinda like it. This my sh*t: laptop, ipad, cute face, android, glasses. Thanks internet.I lugged my mini-mobile office to 1188 and the hair salon the other day. Not too heavy and I like having all my gadgets. Mac & PC, I go bothways now. Does anyone know if I can return these babies to the Doc store on Queen where I got them? True to my goal, I’ve been going through my old hard drives and digging up heaps of files containing essays, poerty, prose and more. Makes me feel really excited. I love writing and I’m doing more, well, more than just ‘blogging’ which has kinda taken over my time. I’ve been telling myself I want to publish another book for way too long now and I am derermined to do it. That’s why I’m telling YOU. You can be part of it by asking, reminding me, making me think about it. It’s going to be a second anthology of poetry, prose & short stories. All pieces I’ve wrtten from the last 10 years. There will be some photos and it will be nice looking. My goal is to do it because I don’t want life to pass by with all this written work locked in digtal form within a metal box. I want to have them bound together in my hand. It would be a shame if they never got to feel your eyes and touch your heart, they like the attention. The title of this post is this one: I don’t know, I don’t know? My ideas run like flow! Why these things come out my head? These things for long have been dead. The water ran so quickly then, And to life they come once again!

I can’t stop thinking about this movie. It’s the sharing that sometimes creeps me out. The ‘onlineness’ of my life. That movie got me thinking about privacy and openness. I obviously don’t mind being open and sharing about my life and thought to myself, ‘where do I draw the line?’ Where do you draw the line? Is there even a line? Do I care about a line? I leave out certain things from you, the internet, my friends, things like sex, dating, my family, pretty much any problems I have as well as feelings of sadness/anger. Would I be more real if I shared all that? Am I less real because I don’t? To a bunch of people, I’m a girl from the internet, possibly someone they (you)  feel connected to but have never met. On the other hand, there’s many people I’ve met via Twitter who know me, but don’t really know me at all. It boggles my mind when I think about our world sometimes. Everyone is so connected. I feed on connections with people. I need them.  I’m sitting at my desk as I write this with a external monitor for my netbook (two screens going) while my iPad is beside me (anbother screen) and my phone beside that (four screens). All have twitter running and multilple email accounts and the second I hear a sound from one of them my attention is captured. Maybe that’s it right there, my attention is captured by the internet, by you. I don’t really know how I feel about the future of the internet but I like it. Even if it makes me feel funny sometimes. It’s a crazy world we live in. We live in public. This is what I did last night… I took a break from work…
