Don’t Just Live Each Day, Live it Out Hard

All I packed/need for seven full days fits into my Rimowa super light suitcase & Nella Bella Melbourne bag. Key to the perfect travel outfit for me is layering. Today I wore a little black cotton dress w/ sheer long skirt, cardigan, tights, heels & a hat. I could feel the warm air when we landed so I ditched the cardigan and tights before I left the plane. Found my suitcase in the airplane magazine! I promise I’m not a diva. Haha! The place I’m staying is a Mexican Melrose Place! First meal was tacos as a place called Kool Fish. Shrimp, yum! Went for a stroll around town. Pretty quiet. However, it IS Monday. Think it gets a little wilder come weekend. Made plans to party it up on Saturday. Had THE BEST Mayan chocolate ice cream. This photos is for Mum because she was all like “don’t drink the water”. Look Ma, all is gonna be just fine. Ate about 100 of these just now. The Pistachios that is. Gonna do the Insanity workout in the AM with the crew at casa Thynk Taynk in the AM then do some work and hit the beach. See y’all tomorrow.

Toronto Fashion Week Begins w/ Greta SS 2012

Offsite shows during FW are my fav. Attended Greta Constantine SS 2012 last night. One thing I love about FW is seeing all the fashion faces together. Last night felt less snobby than usual. It was nice. Pix from Greta SS 2011 are in this post. You’ll recognize lots of peeps from that show/party. I had come from a string of meetings & wasn’t really dressed for the ocassion: boots & scarf vintage, jacket Holts, bag Nella Bella, dress H&M. This little one was my fav piece: Shoes Kirk & Stephen, so cute. On Team Olympus blog babe Jay Strut wearing a monkey fur jacket. Yes, MONKEY! Kirk & Gail April <3 Kat & a babe from Elmer. it’s important to have confidence.

This morning I shared a story about my childhood with my friends at Nella Bella. I popped in to say hello as I’d not seen them in a few and I love them. They made me retire my old most fav ever NB bag (tear) & hooked me up with a beauty new one. Thanks team <3 We were chatting about confidence and how important it is to have, especially for kids. We talked about dressing up our younger siblings and also how parents give their kids so much choice these days. What’s up with that anyways? [pause…here come the Mommy Bloggers. haha] When I was little Mum have me choice but not too much. She used to let me pick out my clothes and would lay two outfits on the bed for me to pick one to wear. Well, that wasn’t good enough for me. I’ve always been a creative so when Mum would lay out my outfits I’d mix them up together and make something new. One time I wore this orange shirt with green shorts and one orange/one green sock. Mum let me wear what I liked. One of the other Mum’s on our street said to her “Are you really gonna let her wear that?” All Mum said “If she feels confident wearing that then she can go for it!” Thank you Mum for being that way with me. your chariot awaits ladies

Looked out the window and saw this big thing downstairs waiting for us. OMG. Yeppers, that big fancy limo was for Chantelle & I. Big thanks to Calvin & Regency Limo for setting up the most awesome airport delivery ever. I had never been in a limo before so I was absolutely buzzing with excitement! Chantelle has been lucky enough to ride in a limo in the past when her friend hired a limo service newark for her 30th birthday. She was still excited to travel like a celeb though! Our driver Andrew even got us coffee. LOVE YOU! It was 5:30am, so necessary! Was kinda like a wild disco in there. If you wanna book one like us ring 416-785-1222. Tell them we’re friends. Sunrise was real pretty this AM. I should wake up earlier more often. I really love mornings. Made it through airport security no prob. Attended a Spring shopping party at Harry Rosen the other night. There was a band, live radio broadcast & free drinks. Julio and I had a good chuckle. I like to have fun at these fashioney things y’know. Ok my pix now. I was daydreaming about an army of Casie-Bots like this… I took my very own dream boat and we shopped denim. Option numero uno: Option deux was a hit with me, the sales guy and the ladies who walked by saying “hot”. Thanks Michael Rozenwald for your help. Sold. Shopping parties are fun. Nice to see everyone & nice clothes. One of the things I did not like was this scissor wall. Freaked me right out. One of the things I did like was this D&G ‘Cry Baby’ Johnny Depp tee. 8am, no problemo. Smilin’ & stylin’ in the sunshine w/ Brock before going to Rogers Daytime show. I’ve not seen it yet, I can’t seem to find it, PRV recorded a totally different Daytime show. Oh well. It was 2 seconds NBD. TV time, duck game face. This little one’s mama was on TV and she was pointing and saying “mama” to the TV. It was adorable. i’m on tv today. does anyone even watch rogers daytime?

Today I’m on Rogers Daytime (again, HA!) for the Love a Heart Auction for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Show is on at 10am & 3pm. The auction is tonight and it’s gonna be hilariously fun/awesome. The whole group of 20 that are being auctioned off are a hoot; they’re are good looking with a sense of humor. What more can you ask for? Not much. The peeps being featured on ‘daytime’ today are Brock McLaughin and I along with Ally & Shannon who are running the auction/event. Babe #1 Babe #2 I’m stoked to have been chosen, mostly because I’ve wanted to be in an auction since Saved By the Bell/90210. I’m wearing a gorgeous dress made by Kingi at Peach Berserk JUST for this event. Ah, celebrity…..I kid I kid. Did you know that the Peach Pit (aka Peach Berserk) makes custom dresses AND wicked custom prints. You can print a silk with your name/face and make a whole outfit. Not even joking. I’m in a charity auction for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. There are 20 people in the whole auction. I have no idea who the other girls are but, I do know you will be able to bid on bloggers Zach Bussey & Dan Levy and young darling Brock McLaughlin. Maybe I will find a date myself? Remember when Scar Jo sold a date on e-bay for charity? That was kinda hot, wonder how much she went for? Oh y’know, about $40,000 USD! Let’s hope I break $100.
