I woke up to a feeling, every little thing has meaning.

Went to a really cool Boston bar last night called Lucky’s. They have a drink named after me called Firecracker. Omg it was so good. I think I had too many. Preparing for a 2pm hangover. My flight today was cancelled so I’m getting home later tonight then planned. Bob and I are going for breakfast and I’m going to get the greasiest thing I can. Extra time at the airport (cause of delay) is good for getting work done. I’m sure I’ll have a breaking life report by then! Happy Monday. Keep fit & have fun xoxo

Extraordinary thing, The Internet

Turned off the awards show last night to watch one of my fav films, Closer feat Natalie, Clive, Julia and Jude. I love it. Natalie says she’s a ‘waif’ at the start of the film and The Waif’s are one of my fav Aussie bands. Turns out they’re from Perth like Sam. Today is a busy day shooting two things for two different tv networks (just my luck they’re both on the same day). These photos were sent to me last night from Javier Moltó in Madrid. We met last week in Detroit for the International Auto Show. I loved this song when I lived in Australia and was happily reminded of it last night. I really want to go to London. Attending & covering the Olympics would be a DREAM come true. Have a wonderful Monday. It’s nice to be back in town but I love that my international friends never feel that far away. Looking forward to tonight & hibernating. How many days till summer?

I am so clever that sometimes I don’t understand a single word of what I am saying.

This is where I live for the next few days. Luxor pyramid. can you believe I (randomly) had an Egyptian cab driver drop me off who wish me well in a language I didn’t understand. You should see how it lights up at night. Disco pyramid! I’ve heard the expression ‘only in Vegas’ a bunch since arriving less than 24 hours ago. I get it now. What a crazy place. Driving the strip last night was surreal after seeing it in movies and on tv my whole life. Hello, hello is anybody out there? Today I’m working from this massive Whole Foods market where they sell everything from booze to Toms and every single type of food. I made myself some pho which was really good but I put in WAY too many onions. Last night I met my friends at the Bellagio where we went to a party at The Bank then Hyde then Spearmint Rhino. Super fun. We had security and a driver, things I could totally get used to. The DJ was THE one and only DJ Jazzy Jeff and bubbles were falling from the ceiling. At one point I think the smoke set off the fire alarm and the whole place spent about 3 minutes with no music. I wonder how people that live here 24/7/365.25 days of the year handle it? I guess you get used to it. In other news I have a photoshoot on Friday and am doing something on TV back home on Monday. Scooting back to hotel now to change shoes and go to YouTube party. Ran into Twitter friend/fan Alex Kinsela from home at a party last night and he invited me to today’s Mashable party. We have never met and we finally do in Vegas. Crazy. I guess anything can happen…

Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet!

Hola & good morning from Capricci Latino on 5th Ave. I’m here having breakfast & wifi. Ok this gif is from Starbucks but their internet crapped out so I had to move on. Before I sit down for a meal when travelling, coffee or snack I ask if they have wifi. Pretty much everywhere does. I’m addicted to documenting, sharing and being connected so when I have the chance, I sieze it. There’s plenty of time to disconnect and soak up the sunshine. Check out what I did yesterday for an HOUR…PURE BLUSS!! Heading to the beach now to soak up some rays before I check into my new home at hotel Reina Roja at 2pm. Downloaded a cool app yesterday called Zite, it’s a personal magazine, kinda like Flipboard which also just came out for iPhone. Don’t Just Live Each Day, Live it Out Hard

All I packed/need for seven full days fits into my Rimowa super light suitcase & Nella Bella Melbourne bag. Key to the perfect travel outfit for me is layering. Today I wore a little black cotton dress w/ sheer long skirt, cardigan, tights, heels & a hat. I could feel the warm air when we landed so I ditched the cardigan and tights before I left the plane. Found my suitcase in the airplane magazine! I promise I’m not a diva. Haha! The place I’m staying is a Mexican Melrose Place! First meal was tacos as a place called Kool Fish. Shrimp, yum! Went for a stroll around town. Pretty quiet. However, it IS Monday. Think it gets a little wilder come weekend. Made plans to party it up on Saturday. Had THE BEST Mayan chocolate ice cream. This photos is for Mum because she was all like “don’t drink the water”. Look Ma, all is gonna be just fine. Ate about 100 of these just now. The Pistachios that is. Gonna do the Insanity workout in the AM with the crew at casa Thynk Taynk in the AM then do some work and hit the beach. See y’all tomorrow.

catching waves & feeling the power of the ocean

Feeling like I have heaps on my plate. You know that feeling? Yeah. Good thing I enjoy making lists and checking things off. I’m going back & forth planning my trip to Costa Rica and haven’t event started to face the car situation. My coffee is cold. Insurance, licence plate, kinda overwhelming considering I’ve never had a car. I’d love to be outside right now. I should be getting in the shower, meeting in an hour. I spend so much time writing emails these days. Accounts receivable is a fun part of my job too. I hate math. I ate so much yesterday. I could use a visit to the gym. Wonder if I got mail today? Starting Monday I’m in a national advertising campaign with HTC! They’ve chosen to feature me in a new campaign that will run for 14 weeks on lifestyle and entertainment sites across Canada.
