Got something really, really neat in the mail yesterday. Any guesses? A cape? A toga outfit? Nope… Au Lit Fine Linens sent me 100% Egyptian Cotton Linens with MY NAME ON THEM! Did I ever have a great sleep last night. In August they have a White Sale: UP TO 50% OFF entire store! See the eyes on the front are not attached to the actual shoe? Docs don’t wear out that often but (if you have been reading this blog for a while) you know I am hard on things. I put everything through the “Casie Stewart: this is my life” test which is heaps of use and lots of wear. I’m REALLY great at testing products, especially electronics & clothes. (HINTY HINT) The things about Docs is they last forever. The shop on Queen Street kindly replaced my pair with a shiny new set of boots. When Fall rolls around I’ll be rockin’ them with that sexy leather jacket I picked up from Holts during the Crystal Light Challenge.   Tonight I’m staying at the SOHO Hotel with a friend courtesy of Jaunt.ca and tomorrow Keri and I are doing the Volkswagen Driving Tour. my favourite vintage shop brings all the ladies

My fav vintage shop is CTS at Queen & Spadina. I’m the Foursquare Mayor (nerd) and that’s also where The Australian works. Yesterday was a very special day. I rolled up there to deliver an ice cream cone and the boys were just about to have a photoshoot. No shoes. So Australian, ha! Cool stuff here. Good on ya. Must have a hat! Hi lovely. Too funny. The vintage stuff is on the back. Don’t buy it all, I need some! J.K. the store gets new stuff all the time. Enjoy the day. Stay cool out there!

Been playing around in Google+ for the last week. It’s cool. Has potential. I’m a Google Fan Girl so I love seeing & testing out their new technologies & products. If you aren’t in yet, sign up here. Chris Brogan wrote about getting started here. One thing I am really loving is following people that inspire me and getting to see their posts The newsfeed reminds me of a blog. It’s clean & easy to navigate. Talking about this makes me want to draw wireframes. I’ve not had many conversation or a ‘hangout’ on video yet but I will soon. I wanna carve out some time to dive right in & organize my circles. Sounds so nerdy & I love it. These are some screen shots from my profile. inspiration is everywhere, open your eyes

Stayed up late making changes to blog. I’m not done yet, it takes forever. A blog is a continuous work in progress, always evolving. I’m ready for it to get a makeover. Not too much change, more in function than design. Talk nerdy to me baby. It’s funny, people often think I spend ALL my time out & about on the town attending media events and having fun. Let me be honest with you, I spend heaps of time at home on my computer, alone. Part of me is very introverted and I place huge value on my time alone. In order to have heaps of energy to share, you gotta charge your batteries. Hung out with KMS in NZ on Skype for a bit. I love Skype, good way to charge up seeing old friends. I was shocked at his huge beard! Massive! Not alowed to shave cause he has a modelling gig on Monday. He just did an international ad for Samsung & his new tracks are about to drop in Australia soon. Keep up the good work, love you. Skype convo gifs are so cute omg. Last year, no beard, less fro. We hung out while I was in Auckland for NZ Fashion Week.  Chillin’ on Ponsonby Road post Stolen Girlfriends Club show.  I had awesome two tone pink/black nails that day.  The whole trip was so fun. Queen Spadina Fire

Walked Brent Winsor to Brocklyn’s house and heard so many sirens on the way. This is where they were going… One of the units on the South side of Queen just West of Spadina across from CTS was on fire. Spadina/Adelaide/Queen Street shut down. People were evacuated. I saw a couple with their cats in cat cages. Sad, I really hope everyone is ok. I looked serious. One of the restos right there recently went out of business.  Other than that, no details to report. These are my photos. Adelaide East to Spadina. So many trucks. Fire was in the building right behind these fighters. Queen/Spadina. Queen Street West. Then I saw an open manhole on my way home. All the beer shelves were fully stocked, store opens today in Liberty Village. I love straight lines. Everything was lined up with perfection. Pretty. Pinup. ♥ Very nice shop that appeals to urban consumers. Young urban professionals of downtown, generation Y, Yuppies 2.0. SO good to see Carly & have her back in town. Love you babe! Carly is my agent and today I have a top secret audition for something on TV. I was taking our pic in the mirror here… Then I totally spilled my beer. Doh! Food was really good and outside they had an oyster bar. Look how big that one guys is! They looked to slimey for me. I kinda like oysters but think I’m stopping liking them. The slimeyness over does the taste & other effects for me. Wiggly little buggers. Brown Barbie likes ’em! My peeps comin’ down the red carpet. We arrived early & left fairly early. My new thing, getting real good at it. It takes practice. DJ was really good. Arriving early gives you optimal time for dance breaks before it gets crowded. We were drinking these beers & Stella. Sun on the face & warm air when I roll outta bed and go to balcony. First thing I do is check phone, get up, check computer, grab camera, go outside. The Lake, the Airport, the many people on their travels to work. This vintage Lion Breweries New Zealand Olympic Team shirt that was Mum’s. Buckler Men’s undies. SO COMFY (even if you don’t have a package to fill them out but probably more comfy if you do). Have been using some really great products lately and figured it was about time I share with you. I always test things out for a before I tell you about them and I only talk about what I like [DISCLAIMER]. You’ll notice I enjoy products that don’t have too much scent, are clean feeling & soft on the skin. Yeah. Use it all the time. Goldwell Ultra Volume Leave-In Boost Spray – good volume, doesn’t make hair icky or greasy Cheeky Monkey Nailpolish in Party Whore – Yes, that’s the real name. Colour is my fav! Redken UV Body Rescue – Stuff is amazing is you love sun like me. Treats skin post tanning & has a soft glistening glitter. I have like 8,000 things I’m trying to do an I wanna do is blog, blog, blog. Wahhhh. Here’s some things I did today real fast. Had this song stuck in my had all day. You’re welcome. Plank like ‘errrrrrrrry day. New shoes @ Get Outside. I replaced my white canvas Converse (like those words together) every summer. I love summer. Went to a beautiful Dermaglow event at the TIFF Lightbox. The team is fab. Thank you for all the products. I can’t wait to wash my face & moist it in a few mins. I’m excited for Film Fest this year. Keri taking photo to blog and me taking her photo & blogging it. Oooh hehe haha. I kill me. Ate a meat pie. I love meat pies. Wasn’t as good as NZ meat pie though.  Say meat pie again. Mince meat w/ potato top are my most fav. I also like patio lunches. Got some jazz in the mail from China I ordered from Etsy. I freaking love Etsy now. I have a bad memory (reason I started this blog) so I forget things often. I didn’t know what was in the package before I opened it. Self gifting FTW. Keri got mail too. Look how happy. Tonight I have three events, Steamwhistle, Yelp, Molson Sublime. Excited to see friends. I love summer. Gah! LIFE’S A BEACH & THIS IS MY LIFE! BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
