i love going back and looking at my archives, it’s amazing how much you forget. for me, it is a really good reminder to make the most of each day, smile, be positive and keep motivated. you never know what you can achieve when you put your mind to it. lots happened january – march 2010, here are some of my favs: i was in toronto life magazine and now everyone knows where i live i worked at CTV doing the FB & twitter for @MuchMusic & @MTV Canada i didn’t feel like blogging then i posted a fav quote by thomas edision a professor at queens university used me as an example in her class told you about a date partied with DJ pauly D and The Situation, kinda. told you about about a best friend i was interviewed in techvibes i met the guys from mtv’s the buried life …but then it was suddenly warm out. we all learned about chatroulette an example of modern media at work played with barbies bare bum on blogTO kissed a REAL Olympic gold medal there was a hot nerd takeover to raise money for haiti I’m way more into the Internet than sports. gave away some givenchy play for men to this lucky guy told you about my old job twestival 2010 went to a leaf’s game patio season was just around the corner had a blog girl gang hang bloggers dressed pretty in peachy for MTV lady blogga came out for a blog party i talked about blogging crazy awesome fun #genyto party went to art battle canada won gold

it’s been an awful good year, santa baby

2010 has been the most awesome year yet. I’ve always held 2004, my year in Australia as the best year but now I’m ready for 2011. I’m looking forward to working with more great people, sharing more things with you and giving back. Yesterday I was named one of the Women’s Post’s Top 8 Web Savy Women of 2010. i’m available

It’s true. No, I’m not looking for dates but I am looking to get together to talk with cool smart people who like to work with other cool smart people. I’m finishing up a contract this week and available as a consultant. I like to create fun campaigns that engage people online and connect them with cool brands. I also like to get people off the couch and create experiences. I’m not camera shy or afraid of public speaking and I love having my picture taken. Since leaving CTV as MuchMusic & MTV‘s social media guru/content writer, my life has been really exciting. Over the last two months…I did red carpets and celebrity soirees during Toronto International Film Fest (TIFF). I spent 10 days in New Zealand with as an International VIP sitting front row at NZ Fashion Week (NZFW). I hopped on a plane to San Francisco and met with the Virgin America team as their cheekly-little-rabble-rouser in Toronto. This week I am the spokesperson for the Arm Yourself campaign with GSK and for the next year, I am your Virgin America Provocateur. I’m young, smart, creative and a bank rich w/ ideas. Last night was fun. I was with Carly, Down With Webster boys, Brock, and some socialy types. Ran into Randall from MuchMusic & Matt the DWW boys stylist and other cool people. These are my friends. Vandilism. My babes. Hey do you? DWW Kyle & his Mrs. Brocklyn. Carly reporting for Sean Ward. I have no time today. I would love to lay in bed and watch TV but I need to be at the Four Seasons really soon then the gifting lounge at the other hotel and then the Hazelton for something else. After that I need to scoot home and change then meet my hot date who is in a band and take him as arm candy to the CBC big deal party at the Hazelton again. TIFF is tiring, this is only day 2. zomg. BYEEEEEEEEE!

This morning was great. I went to the Toronto Fashion Incubator and met Canadian Designer Paris Li. Thanks to my friend Jas Banwait who set it all up. I tried on three dresses. See the Twitpics here! Went with dress #3. It fit me so well and looked cute/classy. I’m planning to wear it to the opening party for NZFW. I leave in 9 days. Oh emm geee! Getting ready to head to The Drake Hotel this afternoon for a TIFF party & movie. Meeting Carly & my guest, Brock McLaughlin from The Futurists who is very close to becoming a new VJ for MuchMusic. meet my new bestie emily haines from @metric

Yesterday evening I cruised over to Union Station for the free metric show hosted by Samsung. Show was to announce the launch of the new mobile device which seems pretty cool, android, big screen 5pm camera, touch keypad. O’Nizzle and I scored some last min VIP tickets and were front row for the whole show. Thanks Samsung! DANCED UP A STORM! I high fived Emily.. Oh yeah. I’m famous. Heh heh. We made an article on CTV.ca (how ironic?) and were quoted: “She approached three girls who were leaping and screaming beside me and shared a moment of “crazy eyes” with them that gave them perma-grins for the rest of the night.” Yeah that’s us and those were eyes of love. I’ve seen Metric a bunch of times but this was by far the closest I’ve ever been. We were in the media area and after seeing a bunch of MuchMusic & MTV people I was asked “who are you here for?”, I proudly said “I’m here for myself, as Casie Stewart”. Do you know how good feels? Damn good. Blonde blog bots as O’Nizzle called us – Kate Killet, Me & O’Nizzle. SO FUN GUYS!! Thanks to Virgin Radio for putting this on too.
