OH HEYYYYYYYY. LIKE MY NEW SHIRT? I came across this beauty and just had to have it! They were out of stock when I placed my order so I kinda forgot about it, then when I came home from vacation, it was here. ‘Turonno’ by Button Machine calls to how us Torontonians say ‘Toronto’. Nobody says ‘Tor-onto’ we all say Turonno. I absolutely LOVE when brands send it little ad-ons when you buy something online. They included their ‘Ol’ Dirty Rob‘ sticker. Thanks guys! In other news, I really hope we get a new mayor when the election rolls around. Our choices aren’t that great, but just about anyone is better than RoFo! Sean got me this Good Kid Mad Hope hoodie from the CSAW Company for my birthday. Didn’t realize just HOW rad CSAW is. It’s also super soft and perfect for this not-yet-summer weather we’re having. You’ll see me living in this and the COTTAGE sweater (both from Community 54) right into the fall. Ellie Goulding in the same hoodie. Whut whut.  I’m ready for the weekend. Heading up to Muskoka later this afternoon. Can’t wait to be on the lake, and wake up in the wilderness tomorrow morning. It’s been a busy week of World Mastercard Fashion Week. I gave my pass to someone to use today. I’m giving up fashion week to hang with my fams and have dinner together for the first time this week. Wallace & Co. – The Neighbourhood Diner

This weekend we stopped into Wallace & Co. for Sunday brunch, it’s an urban diner at Dundas West. The food was good, atmosphere quiet, there’s  rock n’ roll in the background and hipsters in the kitchen. It’s just down the street from our place. Very kid friendly, there were so many little monsters there!  Also, the coffee was excellent. I’m quite enjoying the new neighbourhood. It’s super quiet and I love having a nice roof top patio. We’ve found a new local bar in the hood and taken a few nice night walks along the Toronto West Rail path. Now, how long till the weekend? I’m ready for you. <3 CASIE

Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy Birthday to Me!

It’s my birthday! Yahooo. I don’t like to make that big of a deal, I celebrate myself and make the most of each day all year round. I just wanna hang out with my friends and eat some good food. My love got me this beauty ukulele and I can’t wait to sit in the park or the dock and play it. I’ve got a few chords down and I’ll be playing ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ in no time. Have a dinner planned with a bunch of my besties after work. Mum and Dad are in town and will be stopping by the office at some point. Can’t wait to hug them both! Welcome to my new fav Queen West hot lil’ spot. Look at all those signs! Need the Queen West one for the office.  The shop is right in the heart of my neighbourhood at Queen/Spadina and completely filled with everything I enjoy wearing. This is the FIRST Brandy Melville store in Toronto (from LA). These are the things I got; skull scarf, girl tank, aztek change purse, John Galt flower print backpack. I am in LOVE LOVE with new backpack. I actually stalked it online for days, almost ordering, and today I GOT IT. That’s US, the big smoke!
