Last night in between work, Fashion Week shows, and an awesome event at The Spoke Club, I stopped into the Shangri-La Hotel to preview the new Swarovski ‘Tropical Paradise’ collection. There were so many nice things. I feel like I say that every single time I go to a Swarovski preview ex. here, here, here, and here. They have some nice glasses too. This photo does neither of us justice! I LOVE that beetle. All photos taken with current mobile device the HTC One S on Telus. It has an awesome camera. I kinda miss android a little. I uploaded the images all using WordPress for Android. great lil’ app there. The interface on Android is nicer than iPhone. Huge thank you to Swarovski Canada for the invite and beautiful gift from the new Tropical Paradise collection. See below for some of my fav pieces and Chantal’s cute outfit. TIFF DAY 1 – Tastemakers Lounge & Swarovski 007 Red Carpet

Whoa. It’s here. Today might busiest day in my 2012 calendar. Not. Even. Kidding. If I can make all my appointments and events I will question my humanity. Am I robot/alien? You will never know. (Shhh you in the back there, keep your secrets!) I have so much gratitude to give for my sister being PA (Production Assistant) on my show today, BMW sponsoring drivers for our Fashion’s Night Out team, tech related media interview in the AM, so may awesome events, my hair growing (don’t laugh), having my nails done (this is serious), and my bestie Lozzie Lauren O’Nizz being invited to all the same things as me. Thank you universe. Yesterday I went to media day at the TIFF Tastemakers Lounge put on by Rock-It Promo and I was SPOILED. Rotten! TIFF is truly more fun than a birthday or holidays because all the media friends are out, everyone is receiving gifts, and celebrating. Films take the first place for TIFF but trust me that fashion is a verrrrry close second. This is the eighth annual Tastemakers Lounge, it’s a Canadian gifting suite hosted during the Toronto International Film Festival. It brings local and international guests to indulge in exceptional products that Tastemakers Lounge is known for.  This was my third year and perhaps the best! I feel a bit bad showing off but I made a care package for Barbie, gave a Le Dolci cupcake to the hotel concierge, Pop Chips to my concierge, and will treat Mum & Jenie too. Some of my favs are the  zillion nail designs from Kiss Products, amazing arc touch mouse from Yorkdale/Microsoft (that I am now using), 4 scents…

Last night I went to the Swarovski FW 2012 preview and touched a zillion jewels fit for a king, fot a kingdom really! This Hello Kitty is 1/88 that was made by hand and valued over $10,ooo. See ya later byeeee! I’ll just take this kitty home 😛 I really love the skully items in the mens collection. Thank you Swarovski Canada for this beautful necklace. This gold/black volcanic ash setting is seen in FW 2012 on several items. I’m at the Darrek Kwik Studio right now getting my hair done before heading home to get ready for Toronto Fashion’s 25th Anniversary gala. Swarovski is sending some BEAUTIFUL jewellery for me to borrow, celebrity style, for tonight’s event. Can’t wait to get dressed up! If you’re heading to the Royal Ontario Museum for the festivities keep an eye out for Lauren and I. My hair is now beige.

Swarovski’s TIFF Fashion Suite @ the Four Seasons

I was invited by Swarovski to the Swarovski Fashion Suite at the Four Seasons. We got to preview the FW 2011/2012 “Wings of Paradise” collection. So Beautiful. I might borrow something to wear to a TIFF party this week. EEEEEEEEEEEEK!! Keri was invited too. We had a private tour of the crystals including the Daniel Swarovski Catwalk Collection. This is the one and only appearance in Canada. I would love love love love love to wear one of these pieces. They’re all one of a kinda and not for sale either. Thank you to the team for the lovely gift. Way to a nerd girls heart, Swarovski USB pendant. LOVE! In return, a very special gif(t) for my friend Allison at Edelman ♥. Thank you for inviting me 🙂
