Hi hi, yesterday was a great day. Today is jam packed one but it’s doing things I love so it doesn’t really feel like work.  This is a short update for now b/c I am heading to a shoot I’m directing for a client campaign! See Twitter for updates and Snapchat for the BTS! Got to watch/take part in a magic show.    The food was really good. That’s deadmau5 getting some steak before me. Started today with this crew directing my first 1188 project. Pretty exciting! It went awesome and now comes the next steps in the creative process of putting it all together. Saw this along Queen Street today, typical, hipsters, lol. Was kinda excited this morning. Directing is fun! So happy it’s May, my fav month! My birthday is in a week. Tomorrow is media day at Canada’s Wonderland and we’re opening the cottage this weekend too. See ya soon Muskoka! Expect an abundance of beautiful lake life photos the next few months. Went to a Kastor&Pollux party at Neubacher Shor Gallery last night. It was fun NO FUN!  Ok, NO FUN PRESS was one of the hosts so it was actually pretty fun. They had vending machines with stickers and stuff in them and I won a prize!   Made this super cute bracelet at the ALDO Shoes FW15 preview earlier in the day. More details on that soon. Heading to Bellwoods to meet the girls and practice our dance. We have 5 weeks until the show! Ahhhhh. Saw this and it totally reminded me of us. Can’t wait for our Pinup Picnic later this month! Left the house today all like WHAAAAAAAAAAT IS THIS COLDDDDD? Grabbed a fur from the closet and shut the door. Can’t even believe it snowed yesterday. One of the only good things about winter is you can throw on a huge jacket like this (from LeChateau) with a pair of sunnies (YSL/Smart Buy Glasses) and you look like a cool old granny. The rings help! They’re part of that haul from the Shop for Jayu SS15 look book shoot. Today I was interviewed for tonight’s Global National news about YouTube’s 10th birthday. I didn’t really know that YouTube and my blog are the same age.  THREE CHEERS FOR INTERNET OGs. Mike Drolet and I chatted about how YouTube has changed the world, jobs, trolls, and more. Tune in tonight at 6:30pm for the full interview. I’ll post a link to it here tomorrow once it’s live. I rung mum to tell her I was gonna be on TV and said, “that’s why I always have my nails done, never know when tv will be calling!”. Ha. I kill me.  I would like to do more tv. I love the lights and being on camera. When I was done I came downstairs and Sean and the 1188 boys had picked up lunch from The Chickery (David Adjey’s place).  IT WAS SO GOOD. I didn’t fill up in the mac n’ cheese but it was good too. That’s all for now. From the Internet to the TV tonight! Hopefully I look ok now that I’ve told y’all I’ll be on there. Ha! I know that Monday feeling, back to work, especially in -40 with windchill weather can be a real downer. BUT one of the great things about Monday is it’s the start of a new week and you never know what the next 5 days will bring. I always find myself looking at the world/into my computer screen with wonder and excitement. Not knowing what emails about coming your way, who’s been creeping your socils profiles, what the world has in store for you. So, keep your head up, put a smile on your face, and greet the world with s sense of wonder and opportunity will come your way. his weekend I recieved a link to a short film by kate Yorks that I was a PA on about 2 years ago. It’s now online! It’s been shows at a few film festivals in North America. You can watch below. Great job 1188 (Sean’s company) and congrats Kate! In other news, Behind the Red Carpet film that I am IN premiere’s tonight on CBC’s documentary channel. Tune in details below.
