Hello & happy Friday! I’m at 1188 Films doin’ some work today. I had the weirdest dream last night. I documented it in audio when I woke up. I hope you enjoy it. He is in Toronto in September, it must be a sign. New episode of my show on Coral actually comes out Friday next week (my bad!) and then one each week thereafter. Here’s a screenshot of me wearing a crop top I made from an Epilogger shirt. DIY FTW. I was also reminded of this wonderful jam this morning and it’s been stuck in my head for hours. Guess what? Latest ep of my show on @CoralTV. I’ve been more active on YouTube since working with the Coral team. Viddy will load right into YouTube which makes things super fast & easy. Ordered those shoes from Nasty Gal. Wish I had them in every colour/pattern/material. Super high but comfy to wear. I walked for hours in them this weekend. Photos from Carla’s Instagram. I love these Global Warming Tees from Gingerich Group. I got one that says ‘Peace Be With You‘. I’m wearing it in next CoralTV episode of THIS. Caught an awesome set of old school & new school hip hop covers at The Ballroom by Down With Webster after they won a few MMVA awards.  CONGRATS AGAIN TO 1188 FILMS FOR WINNING TOO. Rock version of Drake’s motto. I love this track. I did a lip dub on Viddy the other week.  Instagrammy photos from the weekend made with Flipagram I blogged yesterday.   My YouTube channel has a few updates and we’re over 120,000 views now. Subscribe to it! You don’t wanna miss a thing. Check this out! I had no idea, mega agency, Viktor & Spoils made a case study about this. Most of this video was shot by my sister and the whole thing was put together by Sean Evans from 1188 Films. Pretty neat! 1188 just WON for Post Production Of The Year for Down With Webster “Big Wheels” video at the MMVAs tonight. If you like/love Nintendo you will <3 this. CONGRATS to 1188 & DWW! Read a good article about advertising & content on SAY MEDIA’s blog this week. Goes back to what I was saying last week about transmedia storytelling. I love their VENN diagrams.

Relax & Recharge Dem Batteries, Girl.

I’ve been having a lovely relaxing day at home. I love Saturdays with no plans but home and the couch. Repaired some furniture, watched a few movies, sorted an array of business cards, and played Barbies with a mini munchkin. Movie marathon currently in progress so far we watched Hard Candy w/ Ellen Page, a psycho thriller and Waynes World. Next up looking for rom com and some foreign film to remind me of travelling. These photos are from my  trip to our nations’s capital for Ottawa Fashion Week earlier this year. Have been using my camera less since I switched to iPhone and forgot about all kinds photos on it. Doh! In the spirit of being Canadian, this video sums up all aI learned about prohibition on my trip to the Canadian Club HQ last month. The infographc is on PR newswire and you can read some of the other kids write-ups about the tour on Sidewalk Hustle and Notable.ca. It was done by the same film studio that did the vid I was in for Puma last year, 1188 Films.  We had so much fun with this campaign, celebrating After Hours Athletes. I really love my work. It’s true what ‘they’ say if you really work at what you love it doesn’t seem like work. My days are longer and I try harder than ever, but I honestly feel so happy about it all. Yesterday’s video shoot at The Gladstone went great. Followed that up with a stop by 1188 Films for a catch-up and to talk Festival (TIFF starts Sept. 8th). Stopped by The Drake roof for a bite after hair before visiting my babes at Doll Bar Inc to get FEATHERED! So many colours. When my hair grows I want heaps. Move over Natalie Portman, the BLOG SWAN is coming. We decided against the bright ones for now and went with a more subtle look. Love them! Mega nerd 🙂 Arms are getting ripped from biking though. Have an awesome day! P.S. Guess what I got in the mail yesterday… A PRESENT FROM FENDI! Aaah! Thank you LV Brands 🙂
