It seemed like just another Thursday but it was more than that. Yesterday I had a meeting that was planned two months earlier and the outcome was fantastic! I accomplished something I’ve been working towards for ages. Soon as my profile is live I’ll share more details. I was reminded once again that you really CAN achieve anything you set your mind to. You must believe you can do it and have the courage and confidence to make it happen. Banana Repubic jacket, Burberry scarf, Tiffany & Co. necklace I’ve gotta set some big goals for this year and the next 5 because over the past few years I’ve crossed so many things off my life list. We Won BEST DOCUMENTARY! OMG!

This morning I was welcomed by good news! At December’s Daring Independent Film Festival, It’s All About Me – Feature Documentary won the AWARD FOR BEST DOCUMENTARY 2013! This is pretty exciting as we were also selected for the Ottawa Film Festival in October and won the MADA (Make a Difference) Award at COMMFFEST Global Film Festival in September. Award Winners at Daring Independent Film Festival 2013 Here’s Jenie, Mum, BF and I at the premiere in September. Watch the trailer below. I’ve heard it might be turned into a TV doc and we’ve been optioned for a radio show series starting later this month. I’ll keep you posted for the launch. Always me chuckle that’s it’s called ‘It’s All About Me’ because Mum used to give me the gears that I was ‘all about me’, well Ma, it paid off! Look at me now! Mooohaha. Welcome to the Jungle … on Ko Tao in Thailand

Hi from the jungle! Where it is very hot. I’m not sure I’ve ever felt so relaxed in my entire life. By the time you read this I will be getting a massage at the spa on this beach. This is where I had breakfast. It was delicious. I have lost a few LBs because I’m not eating that much. A vacation like this is the perfect pre-holiday detox! Currently hiding away in my mosquito net bed where’s safe from mozzies. They are crazy! It rained all night and now they are hungry. Apparently they love me. Hope you are having a great day! Something Weird Happened on Friday Night… #PODLOVESYOU

I finished Simulation 1 for POD on Friday night. It tweets you automatically during the simulation saying it loved whatever you type as your biggest fear. If you want to test it out for yourself and redigter for a pod visit bodymindchange.ca. I did the simulation a second time and got @modymindchange to tweet me “i love casie stewart”. I replied “I tricked you” which was followed by a tweet saying “DM #PODLOVESYOU“. The DM was a phone number to a 1-800 with a login password. I called, this is the recording, it started with Dsvid Cronenberg talking but as you can it, it was a bit hard to distinguish what he was saying. There were at least six random people on the call from North America (Detroit, Seattle, Toronto confirmed). August, Sweet Summer

Weekend photo diary… on Saturday I was grumpy. Love this new lip paint from essence, it’s SO GOOD. Just it in in NY last week. It’s from the new fall collection. We finally made that airplane Porter gave me. Flew it around a bit. Had a nice family walk. Love this little robot on Queen Street. New fav bar in the hood is called Roux. West on Dudas near Keele. Saw this cute little bunny on the rail path. He wasn’t even scared! Hope you had a great weekend. Here’s to making today a good one! Happy Monday 🙂 <3 CASIE

May Long Weekend – Summer is here!

Had a great steak dinner last night then sat out on the dock. Finished the night having a beer in the hot tub by the moonlight. It was beautiful! En route to put the boat in the water. Went to garage sale. Found some movies and a long, black, Angora sweater. It was 75¢ but I have her $2 and they laughed their heads off. It was pretty funny. Have an awesome day. Wear sunscreen! And bug spray. I got eaten alive by bedroom intruders last night! So many mozzies. CASIE

For Some People, Fashion Week Lasts All Year

My hair is wild today. Leftovers from my fashion makeover last night. Lipstick is Coral Crush my Maybelline that Lucky used on me last night. I went out and bought it right after! Owl sweater is Emma Cook from Top Shop I got in England. Wool & warm for this urghhhh weather. Shows on my WMCFW schedule for tonight are David Dixon, DUY, and Line Knitwear. I’ll also be stopping by a food & fashion event with The Coveteur & Holt Renfrew. Put a smile on your face and shine it at someone. <3 CASIE
