Got sent an advanced uncorrected proof from Simon & Schuster Canada. Thank you! Can’t wait to start it today, deep in the forest woods of Muskoka. I absolutely LOVE getting books in advance. Something so magical about it. We spent heaps of time at the library as kids. Summer reading club FTW. Thanks Mum for that. YOU ARE THE BEST MUM! Got to have lunch with her and Dad with my sister this week for my birthday. Prettyyyyy awesome. Love you guys! Just watched Beauty and the Beast on VHS. I forgot he gave her the massive library. I love that library. And the dress. Belle is my fav Disney Princess. (You have one too, don’t lie to yourself now!) It’s kinda cold and gloomy up here this weekend but that’s perfect for writng so I don’t mind one bit. Enjoy the day 🙂 CASIE

BLOWIN’ THIS POP STAND! HAPPY FRIDAY!

Woke up late today, and was all like… How did I miss my alarm? That never happens! Was a busy day at the office! Did a lunch & learn about social to some colleagues. Going up to Muskoka to open the cottage this weekend, and when I get there all I want to do is be on the couch, watch Netflix, eat popcorn. Get the BBQ Goin’! Summer 2012: These Are A Few of My Favourite Things

As I was looking at photos I remembering heaps of cool things I did over the past few months. I am so thankful for the Internet, Twitter, Instagram etc. cause I could forgotten moments if I wasn’t constantly documenting. I started blogging in 2005 as a way to ‘keep more memories’, seven years later it’s the best thing I could have done. It works as a constant reminder to be grateful & show gratitude for all the wonderful people & experiences in my life. These are some of my favourite things I’ve done in the last few hot months. Summer Highlights 2012: Muskoka Weekends & Boating. Montreal weekend. Skydiving in Boston. Harley Riding. Outdoor Rock climbing w/ Ford & Bloggers. Beerfest w/ Carly & Lauren. Partying w/ the girls. Filming w/ Coral TV & growing the channel to over 1,000 subscribers & 125,000+ views! Hanging out w/ Mum. Driving on the Ford Track in Michigan w/ media from around the world. Oh and this guy 😉 Speaking at NXNE. NXNE Parties MMVA Show, Gifting lounges, & parties Banff World Media Festival, first time out West! Birthday falling on the same day at Hawaii’s company launch Being a Production Assistant on a short film in Orangeville. Hitting the beaches in Miami & Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Doing the Edgewalk of the Cn Tower w/ Dad Working w/ O’Nizz & Raymi for Menkes, video is 20,000+ views now! The next few weeks are super busy. I’m realxing this weekend in preparation for FNO, Fashion Cares, ten days of TIFF and end of September activities. Here we go!

I took stereographic of the lake in Muskoka, other from my balcony using 360 for iPhone, taped together with Diptic app, and sent to Instagram. Live Music in Central Park

Had a lovely time at home with Mum. We went to the Preston Music Festival yesterday to see the locals and check out Bongas band. Was rad to see so many familiar faces. Stopped by the Firkin Pub and who mega high school reunion. HI GUYS! Bonga your band is really good. Impressed with your skills! These folks dancing was so cute. Off to Muskoka today w/ Sam for some more R&R by the lake. I really wanna canoe or kayak. Good day for a long country drive too. Leave you with this tune from the Sheepdogs. So good.

there’s no blue monday in this department sir

the only blue is the sky above cause we’re covered in sunshine here and here Who leaves those big footprints? I wish I could walk on water. I should go to the island soon. I was thinking I missed the beach and the sunshine so I went to the urban beach, sat in a muskoka chair and felt the sun on my face. I kicked around some snow, found the sand below and even only if for a minute, I was reminded of summer. Did you know there’s actually a formula for ‘why’ today is the ‘ most depressing day of the year‘. Crazy talk. I always thought it was some time in February but maybe that’s high suicide day or something. According to a press release by a mental health charity, the formula is: where weather=W, debt=d, time since Christmas=T, time since failing our new year’s resolutions=Q, low motivational levels=M and the feeling of a need to take action=Na. ‘D’ is not defined in the release, nor are units. DON’T LET THE WINTER GET YOU DOWN EH! Have fun with it. Go exploring But dress warm. Nobody likes a whiner. You never know what you might find.
