Party in the #FHQ! Congrats Faulhaber on the Office Expansion!

Last night was a busy one! I went to four events before 9pm and made it home in time to watch a movie and get to bed at a decent hour. I’ve really matured over the years, eh? Pictured above one of my fav bloggers Jay Strut on the #FHQ couch at Faulhaber’s event. They just did a MASSIVE expansion of the office which now includes a showroom. The team brought together a stellar group of people and so many familiar faces filled with hugs and love. PR often is so behind the scenes to make magic happen. I’ve been working with the WONDERFUL team there for some time now. You might not know it was them but they are behind all my stuff with Ted Baker, essence cosmetics (Bieber in NYC!), Thomas Sabo (the UK trip!), Dermologica, and a few more things here and there. 2013 Chevy Camaro Convertable in California

We had so much fun cruising around in the 2013 Chevy Camaro Convertable in California. We randomly decided to get a rental once we got to the hotel and I’m so GLAD they had this. It was $25 more per day than a compact car from Hertz and so totally worth it! You deff need a car in LA. I can’t imagine being on vacation or living there without a car. I loved hitting the open road and driving to the beach, top down of course. I loved Venice Beach the most. It reminded me so much of where I lived in Bondi Beach in Australia. Did you know that the real Abbot Kinney was a tobacco millionaire who founded it in 1905? Oh the things you learn on Wikipedia.

Ted Baker London – NYC 5th Avenue Grand House

Started the day in style with Starbucks, sunshine and a smile. This is the lovely Patricia ⬆ and ⬇ that’s not how you spell my name but I didn’t care one bit, I was in NY and it was Friday. ❤ This was en route to the essence NY head office, (Justin Bieber’s concert sponsor). NY cabs are cheaper than Toronto, feels like you drive for ages before you hit $20. Cool 3d art installation painting downstairs. Great view from upstairs. Our next stop was the Ted Baker London 5th Avenue Grand House. It is gorgeous. Still looks like an old house in many ways, even how the clothes are hung and accessories displayed. Right away I said, “WHEN CAN I MOVE IN?” I loved it. I adore the new prints from Ted. I got a this great new bag, pants, a few scarves, and much needed grown lady wallet. I absolutely love travelling. It’s less than three weeks before I head to California for six days with bloggers and best friends. I can’t wait! Working on a post this week for the NY Ted Baker blog about my fav Toronto spots. Any suggestions? LMK! See other posts w/ Ted and me here. I’m going to make this week really, really great. Heading to Manhattan and Staying in a Dream

Bag packed and heading to Porter after work. Catching a 7:30pm to Newark, NJ w/ my press escort aka Patricia. My trip is with essence cosmetics, the UK’s #1 brand who also happens to be the title sponsor of JB’s tour. We arrive in NY just in time to head out on the town for Thursday night drinks. I was last in NY in January and about a year before that so pretty stoked to be back in the Big Apple! We’re staying at Dream NYC in Manhattan and apparently all of JB’s peeps too. Tomorrow I plan to sleep in then hit up the NY Ted Baker store to get a new outfit for Friday night. Hardly packed anything! Counting down till 5:30pm when I head to airport. The 100th Grey Cup will be my first pro football game!

Went to the Grey Cup Players Gala Award Party at MTCC on Thursday. It was fun. Got to thank my Telus peeps in person for party and game tickets. Lauren and I danced front stage while Kardinal performed and then we went home (to the internet). I’ve never been to a REAL pro football game, only college or Uni. AND, in other amazing news…I JUST FOUND OUT JUSTIN BIEBER IS PERFORMING AT THE HALF-TIME SHOW! OMFG. Judge me, I don’t care. I love the Biebs. Nuit Blanche 2012 – My Plan for the Night

Tonight is Nuit Blanche and the city is alive with art installaions, music, and culture. It’s one of my fvaourite Toronto events and I’ve taken part since it started back in 2008. Tonight I’m starting with The Tragically Hip and Molson Canadian at Sound Academy. The show isn’t a Nuit Blache event but those are tickets I won’t pass up! My portrait is featured in an installation called Life Lessons at Funding Matters Gallery (Zone C 29). Life Lessons features 311 portraits of community figures who have helped shape the city of Toronto. Other notables ar Margaret Atwood, David Miller, Douglas Coupland, Justin Bieber, Atom Egoyan, George Strombo, David Mirvish, Susur Lee, and Karen Kain. I am extremely honoured to be in this amazing group! The project will be exhibited using Sony HD TV screens displaying life-sized images of each subject at print-quality resolution. You know I love Gaga. I’ve told you a bunch of times before. Remember the MMVAs last year? Kingi from Peach Berserk made me a custom dress with all the big performers on it: Bieber, Katy, Drake, Miley. I was excited. I worked with some really great people at Much & MTV last year, the MMVA experience is very memorable. My job was Social Media Queen and it was super fun to say the least. Blog post from MMVA Day 2010 is here. I’ve got a couple things planned for MMVA weekend this year. One is a party w/ Gaga’s DJ, Lady Starlight. 🙂 Starlight will be rocking The Velvet Underground (510 Queen St West) after the MMVA’s June 19 in Toronto. Doors open at 11. I have a list.
