what is your worst fear?

Mine is losing my memory. I blog to remember. Guess who I saw yesterday? Oh yeah, JB. Got my hair done at Darren’s Studio last night, kinda different blonde, not used to it yet. What I really want is this hot hair. Creeped it from Zambesi SS 2012. It’s like this now. Looking forward to the weekend and biking and spending time with James Dean. A bunch of friends and I are going to a Jays game on Sunday. Will be my first game of the season and it’s Roberto Alamar Day. I’m bringing The Australian, he’ll love it. If it is wrong to take a whole slew of photos of your new computer, I don’ wanna be right. I’m in love, what can I say. Scooting out for the arvo to the PinkMafia office to plan a sweet a$$ giveaway with them. Stoked to have a quiet night at home too. Hope you are enjoying the day. <3 CASIE P.S. It’s beautiful out today! Doing a wee bit of work them meeting a babe for a bike to the beaches. Later in the day brings a Bellwoods hang and tonight I’ve got a date with my computer. Ate this ice cream last night. Doesn’t it look delish? It was. Last night I opened a box of creativity and started working on my first short film. I shot it with Olympus PEN, camera is wicked. I’m loving iMovie. Man, switching from Windows Movie maker to that is like a whole different generation of awesome. Keri got me hooked on this jam and it keeps popin’ up on my Spotify. I love it now. what do you love? ♥

I love discovering new things. Last month Google rolled out www.wdyl.com and I just found out about it from Techcrunch. It’s hard to keep up on all the Google gossip! With all the talk about Google+ lately, I see how it slipped by most peoples radar. I checked it out last night & found an interesting discovery… Here we go: Went to the site, searched something I love (uh, myself! You would search yourself too right?). Found a few things, including explore “casie stewart” in 3D with Google Sketchup. You can create anything 3D there, haven’t tried it yet. Youtube channel and gmail came up along with searches in blogs, photos, and books. Books? I recognize that book. That’s my book. I wrote when I was 14 with Holly Heiblinger, it’s called JEANS. Published Canadian Author, oh yeah. I’ve never seen it online. I mean, I never reallllllly looked but there she is right in Google Books and the library archives. I was mega involved with writing and my community at that age. Our book is categorized in Canadian poetry (English) 20th century, Literary Collections / Canadian, Children’s Literature & Teenagers’ writings, Canadian (English). It’s no longer in print so don’t try to order one! I’ve only got a couple draft copies. Reckon Mum might have some in the basement. I used to write heaps. Well, I still write lots but more diary than poetry. One say I will escape to a far away place and get all the notes from the notebooks into digital form. Maybe with my new computer? Omg, I ‘m getting a new computer today. Downloaded a poetry magnet app for iPad called Verses Poetry. I like to play on/with words. Need to get more words unlocked though, running slim on options. I love coming home to this city. Missed you Toronto. Our flight was almost twice as long as usual due to changed flight pattern because of major thunderstorms near Toronto. There was heaps of turbulence. Man it is super duper hot here, eh? Warmer than Boston I reckon and surely more humid. First time we’re turned on the AC all summer. A Couple Things: Thank you Alex from Riverdale Mac for the Alu Pen Stylus. It’s got a nice weight to it and the design is pretty. Will be using it to draw some amazing things on iPad Andy. The stuff from Etsy was ordered one late Friday night way over a month ago and well before the postage strike, that’s why I forgot. The accessories you order from HK are super cheap. Make sure you wash them when you get them cause once I got a rashy neck from a necklace. It sucked. Lauren’s printer giveaway is here. Send her something to print and you could win. This evening I got an email from a blog reader who recently moved here from England. She said she loved my passion for life. I was sitting at my computer looking at a list of things I should have done already and feeling slightly overwhelmed. Her few words changed my day. I don’t really share emails I get from people but sometimes they are inspiring, this was one. Thank you Ashley 🙂 I love GIF making and the internet. It’s amazing how we connect using it. Think, you are reading this right now. I wrote it after being inspired by an email that someone wrote to me after reading this very same location that we are connecting at right here again after they were inspired by something I did outside. Crazy isn’t it? Found this empty park place near Fort York & Bathurst the other day. Jumped around a bit. Posed for this photo and a plane was landing right behind me as I turned around. Neato! Remember how I always say “You are younger today than you will ever be again.” I’m reminding you to make the most of each day. Maybe there is someone you want to send an email to & thank them? I wrote a quick note to Mum letting I know I’m thinking of her. They are sailing somewhere near Virginia at this very moment. I bet it’s beautiful. Thursday I go to Boston with my sister to see friends. Tres excited! A getaway from the city always makes me love it more. Flying Porter & planning to walk to the airport. Basically walking from my house straight to Boston! Yeeow! Have an awesome day!

inspiration is everywhere, open your eyes

Stayed up late making changes to blog. I’m not done yet, it takes forever. A blog is a continuous work in progress, always evolving. I’m ready for it to get a makeover. Not too much change, more in function than design. Talk nerdy to me baby. It’s funny, people often think I spend ALL my time out & about on the town attending media events and having fun. Let me be honest with you, I spend heaps of time at home on my computer, alone. Part of me is very introverted and I place huge value on my time alone. In order to have heaps of energy to share, you gotta charge your batteries. Hung out with KMS in NZ on Skype for a bit. I love Skype, good way to charge up seeing old friends. I was shocked at his huge beard! Massive! Not alowed to shave cause he has a modelling gig on Monday. He just did an international ad for Samsung & his new tracks are about to drop in Australia soon. Keep up the good work, love you. Skype convo gifs are so cute omg. Last year, no beard, less fro. We hung out while I was in Auckland for NZ Fashion Week. Decided to wear the cute little sequin bodysuit with tutu & fringe from The Australian’s shop. I love this outfit. Statue of glittery awesome. I love her mostly cause she’s living my teenage dream. The stage, the outfits, the glitter, the sequins, travel, dancing, the life looks fun & I like it. EPIC MEAL TIME. Her outfits, the performing, the glitter and sequins, balloons & big fluffy clouds, candy and fun dance moves. Clearly things I like. The show was very Alice in Wonderlandish with a Katy Perry candy, glitter twist, some meat and a butcher. Yesterday was a crazy day. Was blog spotted on the street then again at Cobra x 2. Nice job from my babes at Z-List for putting on a good afterparty. DJ Skeet Skeet aka @skeetonmytwitts. I didn’t realise at the time that HE was the same dude I was Tweetin’ with last year, telling him to home to Toronto etc. He had a great Halloween costume inspiration once. Good show.
