inspiration is everywhere, open your eyes
Stayed up late making changes to blog. I’m not done yet, it takes forever. A blog is a continuous work in progress, always evolving. I’m ready for it to get a makeover. Not too much change, more in function than design. Talk nerdy to me baby. It’s funny, people often think I spend ALL my time out & about on the town attending media events and having fun. Let me be honest with you, I spend heaps of time at home on my computer, alone. Part of me is very introverted and I place huge value on my time alone. In order to have heaps of energy to share, you gotta charge your batteries. Hung out with KMS in NZ on Skype for a bit. I love Skype, good way to charge up seeing old friends. I was shocked at his huge beard! Massive! Not alowed to shave cause he has a modelling gig on Monday. He just did an international ad for Samsung & his new tracks are about to drop in Australia soon. Keep up the good work, love you. Skype convo gifs are so cute omg. Last year, no beard, less fro. We hung out while I was in Auckland for NZ Fashion Week. Chillin’ on Ponsonby Road post Stolen Girlfriends Club show. I had awesome two tone pink/black nails that day. The whole trip was so fun. I miss NZ. Saw this on Google+ via Alana Joy. Are you on G+? Decided to wear the cute little sequin bodysuit with tutu & fringe from The Australian’s shop. I love this outfit. Statue of glittery awesome. I love her mostly cause she’s living my teenage dream. The stage, the outfits, the glitter, the sequins, travel, dancing, the life looks fun & I like it. EPIC MEAL TIME. Her outfits, the performing, the glitter and sequins, balloons & big fluffy clouds, candy and fun dance moves. Clearly things I like. The show was very Alice in Wonderlandish with a Katy Perry candy, glitter twist, some meat and a butcher. Yesterday was a crazy day. Was blog spotted on the street then again at Cobra x 2. Nice job from my babes at Z-List for putting on a good afterparty. DJ Skeet Skeet aka @skeetonmytwitts. I didn’t realise at the time that HE was the same dude I was Tweetin’ with last year, telling him to home to Toronto etc. He had a great Halloween costume inspiration once. Good show. Great fun with friends! Had a blast with Brent Winsor, thank you honey for taking me. Don’t know HOW I didn’t get any pix of us. Brent, where is that cute one of us with the Virgin peeps? Reach out & touch me. So ncie in the park today. Spent heaps of time here as a kid, highschool too. Fed the ducks. Man they were hungry. Some came right up on the rocks scared the jeepers outta me. Jeepers creepers. Met this guy. Don’t get too close. He bites. Rarrrrrrrrr! Chantelle and I have been coming here together for a really long time. No need to know actually how long, ages. Hi to Chantelle’s Mum [waves at computer]! They did Zumba yesterday. So cute. This wall faces a skatepark, used to be a swimming pool. Heaps of kids skatin’. Went on a long path, Wonderland Walk. Was lovely except I rekcon I got a few mozzy bites. See that butterfly. Flutter by, so pretty. Title is from Alice in Wonderland in case you didn’t know. Feel like a kid playing in the park so nice. Gonna be fun to see everyone. This skirt is cute too eh. Mum loves it. I’m also browsing EGOCLOSET to pick out something to review & while testing out their new online store. Thinking this uber cute Diamond Pocket Dress, Maxi Jumper or this Chifon tail dress. Loving those long flowy skirts & dresses. They were really popular in NZ last year & they are ALWAYS ahead in style down there. I love getting stuff in the mail, everyone loves mail. The other day Keri & I came home feeling kinda blahhhh and my friends at Bud Light sent me a 12 pack just because they knew it was going to be a nice weekend. Thanks guys, it did make the weekend better and I appreciate it. Sometimes I wonder why I’m even talking about this…. should I keep quiet? Here’s the thing about blogging I don’t love: C.C Chapman wrote about it six months ago. The Mommy bloggers have been talking about it way before I brought it up, good article on MomBlogMagazine about it here. PR email comes in about an ‘exciting’ new campaign that brand XX is launching. It is either a one day event or it spans several weeks but it is ‘perfect for my audience’. This is a what is called ‘Blogger Outreach’. The company knows from idea conception that they want to connect with bloggers although they bugdet nothing for the bloggers who are going to do a bunch of work. They know exactly who they are going to target because we are all on the same list.

I feel like I’ve been going 100 miles an hour for 40 days & 40 nights. I pretty much have. Today I need to catch up on cleaning the house & organizing. I’m exhausted & I wanna go see Mum. Nothing new from me today but there’s no shortage of fun things around the web though. Here’s some stuff you might not have seen. 70+ videos on Vimeo. Made this on a train where there was no internet while I was trapped in a storm. Boredom inspired creativity. This one time I went to the Toronto Symphony and had an amazing experience. I drew the orchestra. You’re not really supposed to take photos or video. Rebel girl. 90+ YouTube videos on my channel. New glasses I got two years ago, wearing them now. I have work to do. Oh yeah. This week I’ve got a fashion show. Crystal Light contacted me and flattered me by saying I’m a “leading Canadian fashionista and social media maven” then asked me to be in their fashion show for the Crystal Light Purse Challenge. I get to meet a personal shopper and have a shopping spree at Holt Renfrew. OMGaga. I love fashion & style as you know. Remember last year when I was hanging out with NYC’s finest in fashion Nicole Miller & Derek Fabulous. Other babes in the show are Anita Sharma, Valerie Stachurski, Karla Moy, Erin Blaskie, Lisa Charleyboy, & Cammi Pham. Fashion show takes place Tuesday at Design Exchange, Stacey Mckenzie preps me for the runway, then I do hair and make-up. Gonna be fun!
