Garden Party! Ted Baker London SS15 Preview at Casa Loma

Last night I went to Toronto’s castle to check out the Spring/Summer 2015 collection from Ted Baker London. I love Casa Loma, it’s especially beautiful at magic hour or in the summer (great garden out back!). These are one of my latest pairs of shades from Polette Eyewear in France. Polette is an online optician, a leader on the French market, glasses are made-man, and come in a various material (wood, hand-polished acetate, plastic, metal). These are the Monroe. The Monroe Apple has purple mirrored lenses and light green frames! Looooove. The Conservatory inside Casa Loma was decked out like a beautiful garden party complete with a string quartette playing pop songs. You’ll have to believe me because I accidentally deleted the Vine I made. I have the FW2014 version in Candy Apple Red. One of the things I love about the Ted Baker London brand is the attention to details. Ted is alllllll about the details. The clothes were beautiful and the food was great too. We had deep fried asparagus, candy sushi, ahi tuna, and my fav was a tiny little beef cupcake. Fashion | Ted Baker London Now Open At Eaton Centre

Last week Ted Baker London opened a new store at the Eaton Centre. The store is located right across the the Apple Store on the second floor near Queen Street. Love that Apple & Ted’s new shop are so close. Media, bloggers, and brand lovers filled the store to check out the latest collection, intimate details of the store, and dine on English treats from P&L Catering. These little savoury pies were divine! I ate my share of mini sausage rolls too. Here’s some snaps from the event via Katherine Holland/Faulhaber Communications. I was wearing that darling hot pink dress I absolutely love. It’s available the store right now along with a bunch of other great dresses perfect for the holidays. The whole gang of Ted Baker London Brand Ambassadors was on site for the opening. I’m sure you recognize a few faces! Tweeters gonna tweet, tweet, tweet! I really love the attention to detail in everything Ted baker London. Pattered jacket linings, quotes on accessories, little monogrammed initials, unique buttons, there’s personality in all the details. In the new ‘Bakers Arcade’ themed shop you’ll find something special in every nook and cranny. There’s so many darling pieces in the shop right now. I love this blue number! Collar dresses are my fav. This green suit. I die. I have a version of this camel cape coat from last season. So nice. Fashion | Ted Baker London & Baker’s Arcade at The Eaton Centre

Friday marks the opening of the second Ted Baker London store on Toronto at the Eaton Centre. It was two years ago when the first store opened in Ontario at Yorkdale Mall and it’s been great fun working with the brand since. I’ve collected a bunch of beautifully designed pieces and had the opportunity to visit Ted Baker London shops in New York City and London, England. The steel ceiling trussles are spray painted in neon pink and series of framed panels of wallpaper, fabric, leather and detailed collections of relevant props define each ‘shop’ area: Umbrella Shop, Watchmaker, Optician, Jeweler, Perfumery, as well as a Tea and Cake Shop. One of the most admirable things about Ted Baker London is the acute attention to detail in the design of stores, clothes, and accessories. My purses and wallet are lined with English Bulldogs, my camel cape coat has funky orange ribbon lining. I love it! I’ll share some photos on the new shop after my visit tonight. Spring Is Here! | Ted Baker Prints, No Socks, Sunshine

Oooh that sunshine is NICE! I took one look outside today and knew it was the day to bust out these Ted Baker flower pants. I’m wearing my fav shoes from last summer, cutout brogues from Browns. They killed my feet last summer but I’m hoping they’ll be a-ok today! Weekend seemed to whiz by. We filmed for 10 hours on Saturday in Ajax for Cooking with Cuisinart. The next three episodes are done and you’re gonna like them. Totally different that that first pilot episode. Much better! Spent more of yesterday relaxing and then watched Saving Mr. Banks, GREAT MOVIE. Brought back so many memories of our Disney Vacay to California last summer. Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth! Today I’ve got a lunch date with Ainsley Kerr then the Lacoste Spring/Summer preview after work. Hope your day is off to a great start. Ted Baker London – NYC 5th Avenue Grand House

Started the day in style with Starbucks, sunshine and a smile. This is the lovely Patricia ⬆ and ⬇ that’s not how you spell my name but I didn’t care one bit, I was in NY and it was Friday. ❤ This was en route to the essence NY head office, (Justin Bieber’s concert sponsor). NY cabs are cheaper than Toronto, feels like you drive for ages before you hit $20. Cool 3d art installation painting downstairs. Great view from upstairs. Our next stop was the Ted Baker London 5th Avenue Grand House. It is gorgeous. Still looks like an old house in many ways, even how the clothes are hung and accessories displayed. Right away I said, “WHEN CAN I MOVE IN?” I loved it. I adore the new prints from Ted. I got a this great new bag, pants, a few scarves, and much needed grown lady wallet. I absolutely love travelling. It’s less than three weeks before I head to California for six days with bloggers and best friends. I can’t wait! Ted Baker London Celebrates 25 Years in Style

Last week I hosted Ted’s 25th celebration at the beautiful store in Yorkdale Mall. In true Ted Baker London style, it was a hoot! I played around in the clothes trying on everything I could get my little hands on, helping customers, drinking lemonade, and dancing to wicked beats. The entire store was 25% off to celebrate 25 years of the iconic brand. As a Ted baker London Ambassador, I was lucky to pick a few items out for myself! It was hard to choose, trust me! Test Drive from Ted Baker London Spring 2013

On Friday I got to do something that is every girls dream! Stopped by the Ted Baker London showroom at Faulhaber Communications to check out a bunch of spring items to pick something to ‘Test Drive’. Squeeeeeeee! I’ve been an ambassador with lots of different brands over the years and this for sure ranks up there. I was feeling kinda meh and as soon as I started trying things on my spirits were uplifted! All the Ted Baker London clothes are extremely well made and have strong attention to detail. The style fits me so well, they’re playful and fun yet classy and tailored. I noticed the camel cape as soon as I wanted in but tried on a bunch of things and looked at all the bags. I wish had every item in my wardrobe! I decided to go for the camel cape. It’s 70% virgin wool blended with cashmere. I love it. The inside also has beautiful orange/yellow ribbon stitching and fine details. I’ll have this thing forever. Matches great with my fav Ted Baker London purse and bulldog print scarf. Yorkdale Expansion Opens Today w/ Ted Baker & More!

Last night I ventured uptown to Yorkdale Mall for the VIP pre-opening of the $220 million expansion. Yorkdale added 145,000-square feet of space 800 more parking spots, 27 new stores and a high-end food court. Five upscale stores are making their debut in Canada: Microsoft, Tesla Motors, Ted Baker London, Kate Spade and Ann Taylor Loft. As an Ambassador for Ted Baker in Canada, I was extremely happy to hang out in the store, try on clothes and meet the entire team. I got a few goodies too, Scuba dress, bulldog scarf, I haven’t been to Yorkdale in ages and it’s really quite a lovely destination. Beards and blazers, boys with long hair, fancy dresses, I can’t help but love the style of Ted Baker London. The first Canadian store in opens this weekend and I’ve been chosen as an Ambassador. I have such a heart on for this look, Royal country elegance. The Ted Baker Blog is Muse & Views, they’re on Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. Creative, classy, their AW 12 campaign is ‘Survival of the Fittest’ and they say things like ‘be a glitter bug in Ted.’ I love it. Good brand, good branding. It’s a match made in heaven, romantic really. Stop by the store Friday-Sunday for the weekend long, picnic in the woods celebration. During store hours, don’t show up late for a bonfire! Dance w/ Me: #TedBakerAW14 + Holiday Preview

Last night I checked out the AW14 + holiday collections from Ted Baker London at Danceology in Liberty Village. I got to preview a few items a couple weeks ago an upcoming feature shot by George Pimentel, wore the pink dress! There are some incredibly beautiful items. Ted is a brand with impeccable details, the buttons, collars, inner linings, everything has a touch of personality. The holiday stuff is dreamy with heaps of sparkles. There’s a couple great leather items including a moto jacket with sleeves and a fur collar that zip off. I love this one. All leather. So soft. I love this little riding hat. Andrew Dobson just posted a story w/ a riding hat like this in Metro. But it has a long pony! BTW if you want a marble phone case you can get one here. In other news, there’s a Ted Baker London store opening at the Eaton Centre in October. It’s going to be located on the third floor right across from the Apple Store. Pretty stoked! Received quite a lovely gift in the mail from my love, Ted Baker London today. Was invited to be an ambassador for the launch campaign in Canada last year and I’m back for Spring! This year celebrates the 25th celebration of Ted Baker London and they’ve got some fun stuff planned. For Spring 2013, Ted Baker London has launched a Finishing School. I loved this idea because I went to modelling school as a teenager, which was much like finishing school. Under Ted’s orders we’re all in detention this week. The first 500 lucky students to enter their line of the day through Twitter, Facebook or Instagram will receive a limited edition tote adorned with their line. One student will be chosen and rewarded top of the class by a fashion blogger for especially creative and inspired entries. Prize for that is a beautiful leather satchel embossed with their initials. Canada Votes | I Voted!

4:32.49 – how long it too me to vote this morning. Went early to avoid the rush, was done by 9:50! It was so easy. I had to replace my licence recently so took the paper one w/ my passport & voting card. Don’t get discouraged if there’s a crowd today, let it excite you! This is a big day for Canada and an opportunity for change in our awesome country. Dress up, take a selfie, go with a friend, go with your bae. VOTE! Today also marks the first day of World Master Card Fashion Week in Toronto so I dressed stylish and wore Canadian. Make Time For Yourself

You only live each day once, tomorrow is a new day. How are you spending your time? A few months ago I was feeling really burnt out and over everything. I had no energy to go out, write, do anything creative. May was a really stressful month and by the time June/July rolled around I was stressed TF out. All I wanted to do was stay home, watch Netflix, my room was a mess, I’d piled up boxes and paper that needed to be processed. I didn’t have the energy to do it. So I rested. I took time to chill. I’m grateful for the privilege to mostly work from home, to work on myself, and to breathe. I started spending a bit less time on asocial, taking breaks. I began to really love seeing the + beside my name on IG Stories, showing I hadn’t posted anything in 24 hours. That felt like a win with me. I’ve been updating the internet for 15+ years about my life and what I’m doing, burnout is real and it’s ok to take a break. I thought about what I wanted (even though I’m constantly trying to figure out exactly what that looks like!) and I focussed on it. Made some other changes too. I got serious about drinking less and explored being sober curious. I even spoke at an event where I shared some stuff I’ve never talked about. I was hesitant at first but I figure, if I can make this change in my life, it might be helpful to someone else going through the same things. It was the first TIFF in 10 years where I didn’t get drunk, I didn’t even drink at parties. And y’ know what? IT WAS AWESOME AND I STILL HAD FUN. I started intermittent…

2017 Canadian International AutoShow w/ @VWCanada

Recently I went to the AutoShow with VW to check out what’s new for 2018. It was a PA day so people were invited to bring kids and pets along for the special event. I documented it all with my Snapchat Spectacles and they were a hit. You know how much I love tech and these things are rad, watch the video here. I’ve always loved cars, we spent heaps of time in the garage and hot rod workshop w/ dad growing up . It’s incredible how far car tech has come! Volkswagen is known for great performance, reliability, and safety, ‘a good German car’ as I’ve heard so many times. We were looking at the 2018 Tiguan Redesign, 2018 Volkswagen Atlas, and 2017 Volkswagen e-Golf. There was also another little one I just loved, scroll down to see! The event was hosted by Amber Mac, George Pimentel, Afiya Francisco, and Heather Davis. Amber of course talked tech aspects of the new cars, George took photos, Afiya talked about style and how your car fits your lifestyle and aesthetic. Heather is a family road trip expert and she shared how the 2018 Atlas was a great family car for travel, seats 7! The 2018 Tiguan Redesign is a great car for people who like adventure. I like the aesthetic of this car, it’s sleek but tough, you can tow a set of seadoos or boat (up to 5500 pounds) and pack all kinds of stuff in the boot. Perfect for #cottagelife! My fav was the VW Beetle Dune. A few people said this was a perfect car for me. I love a cute little convertible! Murray Christmas & More

It’s Christmas week, again already. Crazy to think how time flies, feels like I was just saying this the other day. (Omg how old am I? I sound like my parents!) Can’t believe it’s trench coat weather! Dug up this Ted Baker scarf today, reminds me of spring. Spent most of the morning driving around doing holiday things. Ford hooked me up with an Explorer for the weekend to help de-stress my holidays, and it totally worked. Dropped off stuff to donation centres, picked up something from Umbra, holidays gifts for the office. Learned how much a two-four of Jack Daniels is. See Snapchat before tomorrow for that one. The stereo in this Explorer Platinum is amazing, also heated massage seats w/ screens for back seats. In other news, I’m on the TV at Umbra. GO STOP BY THE STORE AND SAY ‘I KNOW HERRRRRRRRRRR’. Fashion | Love My Hood + Bench Canada AW15

I was invited into Bench Canada this week to check out the latest collection for fall winter. Was pleasantly surprised to see more fashion vs. athletic wear and less things with a big logo. I’ve been doing things with them since 2011 so this was fun. The girls in the store know me by now and I have a blast picking out clothes There is in fact a bench there. I think it’s new. And a selfie mirror. HIIIIII! I got all these things. Pants, shirt, sweater. I think they’ll be versatile pieces to mix with dressier items, layers, etc. Glasses are Polette.Phone case is Ted Baker. Necklace is by Shop for Jayu, remember I was in their look book a couple months ago? Oh heyyy, looks like somebody had a make out. Netflix? Chill? Right now if you spend over $150 or more you get 1 of 3 bags. Bench hooked me up with a nice gift card so when I got my total I didn’t feel too shabby shilling out. Gift for BF ✔️ A few years ago I hosted a room in the BHD Gifting Suites on MMVA weekend. It was fun. I hung out all day while celebs & media rolled through receiving gifts and hanging out. SiriusXM’s Canada Laughs & The Todd Show Shapiro Show

Hola! Man, it is HOT today. I was out and about, stopped by a cafe in Liberty Village to a break from the heat. I love this weather but when you need to get around the city and you’re carrying things and sweating and dripping, you just wanna go home/jump in a lake/pool/cold shower. Thomas Sabo AW ’15 Press Cocktail: LoveBridge + #CharmClub10

Last week I went to a beautiful event at Malaparte in side the TIFF Bell Lightbox. It’s a great event space that’s bright, with a bar, and theatre screen. I was last there for the Nike Women NTC training sessions earlier this summer. Media and editors gathered to sip champagne and check out the latest Fall Collection for Thomas Sabo. You might remember a couple posts about Thomas Sabo and my trip to England with the brand a few years ago (see here!). The brand is originally from Germany and is planning to open 6 more stores in the GTA. I had an opportunity to meet the founder in England in 2012. The Canadian flagship is at Yorkdale Mall. Thanks Ryan Emberley for this snap. I’m wearing one of my favourite Ted Baker dresses. They gifted us all with a customized Love Bridge bracelet from the new line. Mine says CASIE. I’m kinda wishing I got something a little more creative or inspiring. Next time. Thanks Ryan for this snap too. Love it. I saw the balloon, looked at him, and he knew immediately what was about to happen. After the event I was invited to an intimate dinner with bloggers and editors. We each had little cakes at our table setting and an invite to join the Thomas Sabo Charm Club. Over the course of the dinner we picked out charms to add to our bracelets. Mine’s been ordered and I’m looking forward to it arriving. Mostly because it will be a huge surprise given I don’t remember what I picked! Doh. Up Up & Away!

Today Sean and I travelled to Calgary. ✈️🇨🇦👍🏼 It’s been two years since I was in this fine city and I’m happy to be back. This week we’ve got a fun itinerary of arts & culture activities in Calgary. We’re shooting them all with Tourism Calgary and the video will be on their website once finished. Got a nice new mani and passport yesterday. We have 10 year passports in Canada now but I only renewed mine for 5 years so I can get a new photo! I know mum will have a chuckle reading this. 😉 One of my fav travel accessories, cosmetics bag by Ted Baker. Why does this July cover say Bruce?? Been loving this little shoes sent to me by Toms. The Huarache sandal is made in Mexico and comes in dove (off white) leather and black. They’re really comfortable. Pretty sure I had a similar pair as a kid. I love traveling together. 💛 We’re staying at Hotel Arts, a boutique hotel downtown Calgary. I stayed here about 2 years ago and since, they’ve put $7 million into renovations. We’ve got a beautiful suite with kitchen, balcony, living room, and 2 closets so we can have one each. Looking forward to a few days of fun activities. Shooting w/ NKPR, My Fav Shirt, Periscope from a Church

Last week I was on set for a day with MD Media and NKPR for an exciting TV project we’ve been working on. My first shoot day was about 2 weeks ago, remember I was on set with Tim Warmels (The Bachelor) here. This is one of my most fav shirts, picked it up at Philistine Toronto, Queen West last summer. We used a few of my things as props, beloved Ted Baker London makeup bad and Dermalogica products. I absolutely love their tinted moisturizer with SPF. It’s perfect for summer when you don’t have to wear as much makeup. The long thin tube is a tinted primer with SPF that’s great as well. I love being on camera! Those bright lights on the face feel so great. Been wearing these glasses heaps lately. They’re another steal from Polette Eyewear in France.
