Setting up a blog/twitter for Mum today so she can update while on her sailing adventure. Gonna spend more time with my sketchbook I reckon. We hung out last night and, we really miss each other. The Unnecessary Wheels Collection is growing. I’m a lucky girl to have you in my life.

Night time creepout at Ireland Park. Not as scary in the day… The white marks in the rock that came all the way from Ireland are oyster shells. Pretty & neat, saw the heart, thought of Mum sailing the seas. In the night the statue had loonies and quarters but the next day, the money was all gone. I would have never taken it. Bad karma. Here’s the story: Ireland Park honours the Irish immigrants who fled during the amine of 1847. 38,000 of them arrived here that summer, at that time our city had about 20,000 living here. Wow, my blog is so educational! Saw this pretty thing too and thought it was a lucky day. Little did I know JUST how lucky it would be… Hung out with Keri and caught up on recent happenings. Love her. Shoutout to Team Boston from us both!! Caught up with Raymi later and she is letting me use her old bike! Yahoooooooooo. Check out this PYT I’ll be riding ’round town. Thanks RAYMI!! ILU. Patio hang @ 99’s Patio with Raymbo last night. So good to chill just the two of us and talk shit about awesomeness and stuff. She had a brills idea to see if we could score tickets to Second City with our combined fame. I called, it worked. Two tickets – RAYMI/CASEY. Thanks manager guy! We saw this show. It was kinda funny. I’m not that great art shows you have to keep quiet the whole time. I like to laugh and talk. I remember last time I went I got in trouble. This time, I became part of the show for yelling out ‘internet’. You’re welcome for the great material. Couple dudes sent us drinks from across the bar. Thanks for supporting alcoholism dudes! waiting for wednesday

Things have been REALLY busy this week. I kinda feel like whoa, how was I doing all this stuff before? No wonder I was tired. Today I’ve been working out of the Fairlie Agency office with Carly following up on emails, auditions and work. Tomorrow I’ll be working from my home office and possibly the roof top pool. I’d really love to be able to work from home forever. The freedom to do exactly what I want is really inspiring to me. Really inspiring. I attended one of the first sessions for NXNE Interactive this morning. Couple people I know were on the panel and I like to surpport them as well as the session itself was interesting: Social Media Circle Jerking 101. I’m surprised that I didn’t take considering all the girls I saw there: Carly, Abby, Lucia, Lisa & Jas. That’s a social media circle jerk right there. haha. Couldn’t help but think of Raymi, she always calls the SM events circle jerks. It’s true really, a bunch of ‘meme’ people in a room talking about themselves. If you go outside… I had a fun time last night. Hit up the Silver Dollar with Raymi and danced the night away before gettin’ sendy and heading to The Beaver. She’s got heaps of pix, my damn camera DAMERA is still broken. Found a diamond in the Queen Street rough last night, a handsome boy that when you google him, only brings up his work; he’s lawyer and doesn’t FB. That’s hot. Yeah, I creep people when I meet them. Don’t you? DUH! Try it, it’s a fun game. Only bad thing so far is he lives on the same floor in the same old building as an ex. Poteltial awkardness x 1,000,0000,0000. I got a new phone today from Motorola called the Backflip. This thing lets you stream emails and social networks into one feed and it backs all your stuff up. I’m testing it out this weekend to see if I like it better than the Milestone, that phone is gonna be hard to beat. I’m really liking Android in general. Think I might need to buy myself one of the custom phone cases to look after it though! Stay tuned for my thoughts on it. Twitter released it’s official app for Android today. Downloaded it. So far its ok. The homepage is portrait vs landscape which bugs me and it seems you can only have one account. I’ve been using the Seesmic app to publish and monitor about five accounts for work etc. The RT function doesn’t let you edit tweets first which is pretty annoying. Gonna give it a fair go this weekend along with the new phone. It’s been a really good day. Checked a few things off my list that I’ve been meaning to get done. Feeling super positive and looking forward to the weekend. Think it’s gonna rain tomorrow but I don’t mind, it’s been a busy week. Might clean my room if it’s rainy. Need to catch up on emails (sorry if you’re one of the people I’ve not emailed back yet). Gonna head over to Raymi‘s place for her roomie’s bday party tomorrow night. This is my highest viewed video on youtube & also one of the oldest July 03, 2006. Some friends, Jenie and I were at Queens Park in Toronto after the Marijuana March and at 4:20pm there were 20,000 people celebrating together! Talk about up in smoke. Every year Hot Box Cafe had a big ol’ celebration party. I remember the dancing girls last year and this year, Little Miss Raymi is performing with her burlesque troop. In high school I was a Hot Box girl in Guys & Dolls, same kinda thing. Hot! Looking forward to it. Puff puff pass 🙂

I had a really fun weekend. Partied with Raymi, Carly & Meredith on Friday for Raymi’s bday @ The Central. Was fun to hang with the blog babes and boys. We always pose like this together, haha. Classic. I feel like going over what I did the last couple days would be too repetitive, I was tweeting, uploading twitpics & updating tumblr all weekend. I really need to set up mobile posting now that summer’s on it’s way. Have a nasty bruise from falling at LGFW during a photoshoot. I put this little tattoo on it, gonna do that when I get bruises now. It looks waaaay better than the nasty purple/blue/black, trust me. Hung out a friends roof in the yesterday and went for dinner. i’d like to introduce you guys to some peeps

Oh hi. It’s me Casie. In case you ever wondered, my blog, This is My Life, started out as a way to keep more memories one sunny April day in 2006. This b-b-baby has been a best friend, therapy, and a great platform for me to get closer to the dreams I’ve always had. I love it dearly. Tomorrow evening I’m doing a seminar about blogging with some people I’ve met and been inspired by over the last little while. You may not know them, the same way you know me, so I’m introducing you. you can’t fly with the eagles if you’re with the seagulls

Met Louis Lautman last night at Notable TV’s premiere of The YES Movie. I asked him to tell you about the movie since it’s his movie [see video]. He said it’s kinda like The Secret on steroids meets MTV. Would really like to know if the young peeps in the movie have blogs, Tweet etc. Also, making lotsa money like that, these kids should be rocking serious style/designer shit. Was surprised at the style, I expected more savy! Watched part of the movie today. Couldn’t make it last night, stopped by to see Raymi before #genyto #canLit. Nice guy, very tall and says ‘theater’ with an accent. He started the Young Entrepreneur Society, so naturally I chatted him about entrepreneurship. I’m really into the big E. I firmly believe and know I can have anything I want , this is my life. He also told me he didn’t know how to spell ‘entrepreneurship’ for a long time, said lots of people have trouble with it. I’ve never had that problem. I won Young Entrepreneur of Cambridge when I was 15 for starting a publishing company. Little did I know then I’d become a modern daily internet daily social publisher. I spend lotsa my time going to these events, Tweetups, Genyto, etc these babies are really all about a crowd, a crown full of entrepreneurial thinkers. notabletv: hot babes tweeting

Last Thursday, I was one of about 100 people chosen to attend an exclusive event hosted by Notable TV. Good fun, great food, cool crowd, babes. Can’t ask for much more than that. You know these blog stars, Sean Ward & Carly. Blonde blogging babes, Carly, Lysnie, Casie, sounds so cute to me. I love Carly’s pink/blonde and Lynsie’s grey/blonde style. I’ve been thinking about grey with orange or pink or peach. Have never had orange/grey before, not on purpose at least. My hand looks really large to me here for some reason. I have small little hands like kid size . I’m never posing with my glass like that ever again. Take note. Papapparazzi on these boys! If you come to this part, you will get your picture taken/be on camera. There is no way to avoid it unless you wear a mask. We were at Annex Loft Houses, Bathurst/Dupont and the night was called Nuit D’azure. The Loft House site plays automatic music when you go to it so I am not linking to it, pissed off at them for that. I will also never buy a condo from them based on that single first impression in the 0.3 seconds it took the site to load. The crowd was fun and included all kinds of familiar faces to me. Sean Ward made this vid. I’m so freaking happy Sean and Carly had their cameras, I went back and redid this whole post. Makes a better loooking blog, my Milestone photos were subpar compared to power of a real camera. Catering by The Food Dudes, mme tell you, them boys make some tasty treats. Feeling busy today and it’s only eight am. I’m ready for the weekend. It’s been a busy week. My wrist has been hurting, stress. Castor oil really helps, thanks Mum. The MTV Video Music Awards will be live on MTV.ca today and I’ll be Tweeting about it for work. I’ve got an album to review from Musebox, Adriane Lake. Watched my friends from Scribblelive on Dragons Den last night. Attending the opening of O’Brien‘s Roosevelt Room tonight and missing Art Battle. Possible attendance to see a major band tonight in style, depending on my tiredness. Came home for lunch yesterday, felt great to do that. Made today’s lunch last night. Been daily reading Zucket’s secrets and Raymi’s public life. I need to take more photos. I need a coffee today for sure. Nominations for the 2009 Weblog Awards opened yesterday, if you love, please nominate me for Best Twitterer or Best Canadian Blog. Raymi pretty much owns this yearly but it’s worth a shot!
