can’t buy me love

8am, no problemo. Smilin’ & stylin’ in the sunshine w/ Brock before going to Rogers Daytime show. I’ve not seen it yet, I can’t seem to find it, PRV recorded a totally different Daytime show. Oh well. It was 2 seconds NBD. TV time, duck game face. This little one’s mama was on TV and she was pointing and saying “mama” to the TV. It was adorable. I hope my kids get to say that one day (my own show prefered just for the record). Somebody was here… Ally & Shannon chatting up the auction & Nella Bella live. I’m creepin. HI MUM! The other day some of my babe friends joined me at The Motion Room for the Saturday Re-Energizer Bootcamp. Say hi to the ladies! *waves at computer* Here we go! My sis is so fit. She’s going to be teaching Zumba soon. Pretty proud/excited for that. My new Reebok Easy Tone gear makes me feel like a superhero. Look like one too. Thank you Reebok Canada! Perfect form here. James is standing behind me making sure I don’t give up and keeping the ball from moving. Thank you from my muscles! Everyone in this photo is working it. Can you count how many? I’m motivated to be healthier since going to the gym. People always say it makes you feel good and it’s true. Wheels in motion, eating healthier. Snack break – Unnecessary wheels: apple (minus the worm, I dunno how he got there). Back to working out… Jenie is totally beating me here, I was having trouble. See, Kelly is laughing too. This workout thing is starting to change my life. Who knew I would ever be saying this? It must be a new year or something. Just LOOK at that happy face. In my most recent trip to The Motion Room I did the Re-Energizer Bootcamp. I’ve never been a gym-rat. I prefer Gym Bunny anyways. [insert cute smiley face] Boot camp sessions at TMR are at 6AM (Before Work) LunchTime (12noon) Afternoons (4pm) Late evenings 8pm or pre-arranged scheduling. It’s fun, you get shown what to do like this: Then we do it: HUZZAHHHH!!!!!!! Boot camp is done in a group & the Starter Packages are with personal assessment/direct one-to-one training. After the first two sessions of Boot Camp—you move into a Starter Package. This seriously turned my arms into burning man the next day but whatever. It’s good. I am strong! REALLY HERCULES-HULK HOGAN-ONE-ARM-PUSHUP-STRONG. Beat that. This is incredibly hard. You have to move your feet back and forth in the stirrup thinger while in a plank. OMG get ready for my abs to bust right out. This ball has sand in it and is surprisingly heavy. Why am I always smiling? This is supposed to be hard work. Crazy girl. There’s a bunch of stations we rotate through in 30 sec, 45 sec, 60 sec intervals. By the end you are hitting the floor but you feel awesome. AWESOME! The sell different sessions in 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 12 weeks, 24 weeks. at 2 or 3 x per week. As a scheduled gym, you set/select your timeslots upon purchase. Boot camps also includes an intro session to the starter package and nutrition sessions with their holistic nutritionist. Hookin’ you RIGHT up to get your body in shape baby. Well, hello there Hi I was heading to a research place where I ate this for lunch. Basically selling little bits of my brain to mordern science. I am so very diverse in my skill set. You have no idea, I got mad skillz. We followed Starbucker with a visit to the Toy Store. Look what I got, a sheep, baaaaaaa. She loves it, Hello Kitty. This is worth a few good laughs. A couple years back I worked at Hemingways in Yorkville. I knew Martin the owner (a Kiwi) and thought as a New Zealand person they really should hire me. They did. I loved working there so much. It was really fun, the people were awesome and I made good tips. I was there during film fest time which is the best time to be there. We had a very fun time. Eli was great cause he offered to take our photo but he had no idea what he was getting into. After about 10 photos, he got it. Raymi played me Bad Romance on the jukebox. Have you heard mama monster’s new jam Sheibe? She says “I don’t speak German but I can if you like”. Hence title of this post, perhaps you made the connection already? i am fit and beautiful and awesome (repeat)

The other day Raymi took me to The Motion Room for a workout. I’ve not been much of a worker outer the past few years, however, last week I had a very different gym experiece. You know what? I really liked it too. Shirt is from Me to We in support of Africa, shorts are American Apparel from Bud Camp, socks from AA too. Hipster workout. haha. It was super rad to have someone show you what to do then push you to do it. I enjoyed this ladder thinger. I often make things into dance moves. The young ballerina in me will never die/grow up. Did you ever notice ballerina has the work ‘baller’ in it? Pairs, duet. Good form. I rocked the pushup plank style going down and back. I did such a good job that instead of going plank all the way he made me do pushups in between. Urgh, remind me NOT to try hard with a trainer. You will only end up hurting more. Look at my pipes. I’m huge. Squats too, check them muscles. I died a little post ladder. I dont like normal gyms cause I feel self conscious, and insecure because I don’t really know what to do. It might be different if I had a partner. I often stick to the treadmill cause it’s self explanitory. The workout here was really fun cause we used different equipment and I had a coach. Tried on this Liza wig at Raymi’s while she was gettin’ ready. Watcha think? We arrive at The Motion Room about 10ish, I think to myself, what the hell have I gotten myself into here. I’m not much of a worker-outer so I wasn’t sure 1) if I was gonne be any good 2) if I would be into it. However, after my computer crashing last night I figured it would be a good release of the stress I was building up. I had to convince myself that this was a great idea for a chilly Friday morning. This is my let’s go face, haha. Stopped by Cherry Bomb for hipster coffee and who did we see? GINGER JESUS. OMG. But seriously, look. I tried to get a better picture but I was clearly spotted by one of the girls who then proceeded to tell the others what I was doing by making camera taking hang gestures. Sabrina was in NY for a couple days and she brought me back this little special robot guy. So perfect for me. There’s a heart in the other side of the diamonds. Expect to see it in regular rotation. Thanks Beans! I told Sabrina I want to walk to the island when the lake freezes over. She told me that won’t happen and I’m not allowed to anyways. Thanks MOM. I snapped this guy and I’m not even sure what to say about his style and hair. I found it intersting. Fashion district has a pretty mesuring tape on the sidewalk. Had lunch with a friend at Le Gourmand today. I don’t usually share my food but my sandwich was totally delish delish. Chicken curry, yum. Thank goodness for FB, a package was delivered to my old work at CTV and a friend in shipping sent me a wee note. I’m yet to go to the Tim Burton exhibit. Would anyone like to take me? I’m a good date. what’s in the box you ask? One of my darling friends Monika saw I was not feeling better and sent me a whole pack of vitamins from Swiss. A tiny gesture that really brightened my day. Thanks MONIKA! Heading to Blake McGrath’s video shoot uptown right now with my sister. So running behind. Sorry sister. wakey wakey it’s breakfast tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime! i’ll have water (w/ airborne), simosa, juice, coffee, and a smoothie, thank you. yummy. raymi & both went glasses styles, it was like 8:30 am. ahem, pardon me, what’s that? oh, cock & balls bull. back to the hotel to get ready for the evening our group 20 had a five course dinner at the ever so lovely buonanotte. the website has heaps of plates signed by famous people who ate there like lenny kravitz, jerry seinfeld & jimmy kimmel. me & brother andrew stewart melodie got a sexy new short cut. hawt! sat beside Stew our chariot for the night was a massive limo disco bus (like the ones 905’ers get to come downtown!) we had a massive area for our crew at this club calle BAINS DOUCHES. haha. these hot ladies danced sexy burlesque for us. rrrrrarrrrrrr. one of the girls is from TO and would like me to come to her class. i like this idea. HAPY NEW YEAR! 2011 OMG! this giant 6’5″ 19 year old may have kissed me at midnight we had a photographer so i didn’t take many photos of our party i came back from the club earlier than the rest and made use of our awesomely huge tub our suite was pretty awesome, well except that it was 911. bad sign, gah 9/11? bathroom is behind blue curtain. had a great sleep, woke up and hung out with myself around the hotel lobby looked at the beautiful & modern art displayed by an artiste named TONE then i went to the Away Spa @ W Montreal for a massage and a lovely breakfast post brekky i met up with the rest of the crew and prepared for departure… and finally… I share this with you beacause…

our NYE adventure started out with a lovely lunch breifing at Mercatto in TO. andrew & monoka gave us all the deets incuding fancy dinners, clubs, limo rides, shopping, plus hair & spa appointments. we like this all ma ladies melodie, raymi, monika post lunch we hopped into cabs to the island airport and caught a 4:30 on Porter to MTL by the time we left the plane was full and were were so loud and excited. i’m sure everyone hated us. a limo picked us up and from P.E. Trudeau airport & took us to our new home, the W Montreal beautiful hotel, go there next time you are in MTL. i was in love with the art they have displayed right now. reminded me of a fine toronto artist, HINTO. most comfy beds at W hotels “why am i single” was not long before the party got started looooooved the colour changing lights in our booth at Wunderbar (the club inside the dubs) team INQ: andrew & karin the friedly giant contest winner & raymi poppin’ bottles. sht gon’ get wiiiiiild. Stew is pretty much the cutest thing everrr. W Montreal has cult cloaks for smoking in cold weather. they think of everything! heck yeah party time. thanks INQ mobile 🙂

Having the most fun. We are quite a hilarious bunch. Flight was short and we were quite loud which made it even more hilarious. We clapped at the end, y’know like how people sometimes do when you go on vacation?? Yes. Funny. The W Hotel Montreal is so beautiful. It’s my first time staying at this one. Went to Wunderbar the club here last night. The INQ Team is treating us really great, had bottle service and a nice dinner before hand. Brekky this AM with the whole crew, there’s about 15 people in the #INQNYE group, us, couple peeps from Strategic Objectives and contest winners. Spent some time shopping morning then I ventured out on a massive walk around downtown Montreal. Was nice to have a little self time before tonight. It is going to be INSANE, the whole place is open bar and we have a section to ourselves, a bodyguard (Frank Farmer?), and a massive limo for the night. Dinner is at a fancy place too. This is the life. This is my life, aaaaaaaaaaaaah! In other news, I’m blogging from iPad and it’s not going as well as planned. Adding photos is harrrrrrd. So many good ones to share too.
