I have crazy awesome friends who do really cool things. Today and everyday, I’m thankful for the things I have and peoole around me. I thought hey, why not let you know about some of that awesomism? i’m available

i’m available

It’s true. No, I’m not looking for dates but I am looking to get together to talk with cool smart people who like to work with other cool smart people. I’m finishing up a contract this week and available as a consultant. I like to create fun campaigns that engage people online and connect them with cool brands.  I also like to get people off the couch and create experiences. I’m not camera shy or afraid of public speaking and I love having my picture taken. Since leaving CTV as MuchMusic & MTV‘s social media guru/content writer, my life has been really exciting. Over the last two months…I did red carpets and celebrity soirees during Toronto International Film Fest (TIFF). I spent 10 days in New Zealand with as an International VIP sitting front row at NZ Fashion Week (NZFW).  I hopped on a plane to San Francisco and met with the Virgin America team as their cheekly-little-rabble-rouser in Toronto. This week I am the spokesperson for the Arm Yourself campaign with GSK and for the next year, I am your Virgin America Provocateur. I’m young, smart, creative and a bank rich w/ ideas. SERVED! Big big thanks to Smirnoff Canada for hosting another great event! The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project has been travellin’ around 14 countries (Canada, USA, Great Britain, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Germany, India, Ireland, Lebanon, Poland, South Africa, Thailand and Venezuela). I would LOVE to go to one of the parties outside of Canada. Hellooooo nurse!!! Remember the last Smirnoff party I went to in the summer? It was called Graphic (click to see video) It was the one with the comic book theme? Shiz was off the hizzle. Check out pix from Nightlife Exchange Project on Facebook at Smirnoff Canada. Can someone please come clean my room? All I want to do is internet and it won’t clean itself. I like to drive around, take photos and tell you about it. This is my life. A happy day or them, a nice photo for me. A story for everyone. What’s happening here? I dream about living in a big old house with tree covered streets. I grew up in a place with lots of trees. Our house was close to a river. Found Lynsie’s prints at Pretty Freedom in Kensington on a stroll. Coney Island, I will see you with my own eyes one day. Blue Banana, eye spy something from a New Zealand family I know so well. Brittle I love too. Mirror ring so pretty. Fun for late night party goers possibly? Nice nails too Sabrina. These tights are coming to Canada. I am bringing them. Would you like a pair? Tell me.  We can haz lots of colours. Yes, these are my new boots. I will wear them like regular boots, wherever, whenever. I should be cleaning my room right now. I have internet addiction and I like it. Do you like it? Maybe you have it too!

film fest day five: lovely to meet you, welcome.

Yesterday was quite lovely. I attended PSH’s film Jack Goes Boating in the afternoon with Michael. Walked through Kensington in the sunshine and passed Tattoo at/for 4:20. Then I met Lynsie and Shawna at The Red Tea Box to greet the cast of Jucy for a Tea Party. Was terribly cute, the party and the three of us blonde blogging babes. The Blondetourage rides again. I’m going to see Jucy tonight and quite excited. The Director Louise Alston gave us a CD with the films soundtrack and tickets to attend. The three of us sat down with Jackie (Francesca Gasteen) and Lucy (Cindy Nelson) from the movie for a chat around the tea table. They were charming and we are friends now. Post Tea party we went to Squirly’s one of my fav spots on Queen Street with some friends. Lynsie, Dwayne and I went to Hotshot gallery for treats & a toast to Jeffreyy‘s photography. Lovely exhibit he did in the kitchen of a resto called Grace on College. The night kicked up a notch, after that when we walked the red carpet at Charles Pachter’s gorgeous house. Honestly, the place is stunning. If you ever get to go there, go. Actually, find a reason. It was the event for Steve Nash’s film Into The Wind and quite the place to be. That’s where I met team Australia as I like to call them, Brad, James & crew from Aussie TV/radio. Shit got crazy after that. I took them to the Vitamin Water Back Yard in Yorkville and we tore the roof off that place. So fun. I have some serious following up to do and a stack of business cards in front of me. Oh man. Was in bed all day today. I need to rest. I am almost Tiff’d out. Premiere tonight thanks the lovely Cadillac Insider. Going to see CLIENT 9 The rise and fall of Eliot Spitzer. Have to go get my tickets but I don’t want to go outside yet. It sounds windy. Not as sunny today. Yesterday was an awesome day, an awesomely looooong day. Yorkville all day Tastmakers Gifting Lounge for  nails done, makeup and more. Thanks for the presents guys! That neighbourhood is growing on me, could also be that it is Film Fest so buzzing. Joe Fresh makeup is really nice. My lipstick didn’t leave marks when kissing cheeks of all the zillion people I saw throughout the day. Diesel Lounge for lunch on the patio and a mini photo shoot with hot NY photog Raphael Mazzucco. He is apparently a pretty big deal, shooting covers of Time, Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret. Can’t wait to get those photos. He was also very good looking;  tall, long hair, charming. Went to Vitamin Water Backyard Social. Was fun. Did this interview with O’Nizz and had my phototaken heaps. I could really get used to this kinda stuff. Met a few peeps that made a point to come say hi and were really happy to meet me for the first time. HI GUYS! Vitamin Water party had a great bar, top shelf selection. Food was good too. Everyone was on Twitter which was fun. Hardly took any pics of my own. The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.

Today was a weird kinda day, well it has been so far. I slept in, woke up with a hurting back and felt like I was hit by a truck. I even went to bed early last night, so totally strange. Just drained I guess. Didn’t last long though, I was energized by Lucia when we shared lunch at BQM on Queen Street. That’s our spot. Came home, did some business and scooting out to a last minute consulting appointment. Looking forward to GenYTO tomorrow. Gonna be a fun time. Last night at the Gap Inc. online shopping launch they gave us each a $100 Visa card to use in the online store. I totally used it last night, this is what I got. Pretty excited for new Fall clothes to arrive at my door. Thanks Gap Inc PR! Lets do that again! Giving people gift cards to actually TRY out the online shopping expereince is a great idea. I probably would have not tried it otherwise. The experience was pretty good, stress free and the interface was nice/easy to use . Go outside. It’s lovely out there. Won’t belong till these hot hot days go far away! xo

Was home at a decent hour after Tweetgasm last night. Thanks for everyone who came out.  There was a neat art display in room 212 upstairs and Lynsie and some friends played with lazers!! We tried like crazy to make hearts, this one is the best we got. Good thing she is a photographer and knows how to work a camera. I would have never figured out how to make fancy light show photos. I know now! Yay. The mural in the little Twitter room was pretty rad too. Next Tweetgasm is late September, stay tuned for that. Quite looking forward to GenYTO on Thursday, over 235 people confirmed! New faces and old friends will make for a great time. I’m heading to Andrew Richard Designs shortly, Gap Inc. is having a launch party for their new online shopping site. Kinda crazy they didn’t have online shopping in Canada till now eh? i love this city.

Rannie took this beautiful photo from our balcony before out shoot yesterday. We took photos for the Vitamin Water Canada blog and in his 140 project. Stay tuned for that. Good day yesterday mostly around the house working on a couple upcoming projects. Went for an evening stroll with Sabrina to Bellwoods and visited a friends roof patio for some wine and sunset. Stopped by CTS on the way, my fav shop. They had a bunch of items that were $1 and I picked up a couple vintage dresses I can totally do a Pretty in Pink switch to. I’m giving Zoey (my sewing machine) a workout this winter. Heading to the Fairlie Agency for a little co-working woith Carly-Anne today. Haircut at 4 with Darren, think I’m gonna buzz it one last time for summer. Dinner with Jeremy and some friends tonight, we finally all get to meet his crush. Loser karaoke after that but I’m gonna have to call it an early night. I still haven’t packed for Bud Camp  and we leave at 7am. Check out this vid I make a cameo in by My City Lives.
