Getting pretty good at it. Pulled another last night before the  Notable Chilean Wine tasting was over. Keri is hilarious. Are you following her? You should. I love the Spoke Club. Such good food last night.  There was scallops & bacon, lamb,  piles of meat, cheese, bite size burgers. Lots of wine too. I’m not the wine drinker I used to be. I can do like two glasses only. I used to plow through a bottle no problem. I also used to arrive late/stay late  to parties all the time. Last night we arrived early, first. I am clearly getting older. I drink less these days too. The ‘sneak out of the party’ move is my new ‘fashionably late’. Stay tuned this summer, it might happen to you 😛

Love this dress. Boots Jenie got second hand then gave to me. LOVE YOU! Beautiful. This is how you know it it Spring. Isn’t it so pretty? Yes. (Turn head/ipad sideways) Now we are at the Toronto Music Garden. My fav spot. Listening to this: Norwegian Wood It is very pretty here. I love taking photos. Am I creative genius? I heard someone say that. Sabrina’s Mum picked out these tights. Flowers, blue. ILU. My religionon Facebook is “when the sun shines through the clouds”. I feel so at peace when I come here. This reno is new this summer. I took the path less travel by and it made all the difference 🙂

Look left, straight out, yep that’s the ocean, Cape Cod. Trafficked some sand home. It’s real crystally, like round stones almost. Art-Dramatic setting on XZ-1 camera is quite dramatic. See, wasn’t really THAT dramatic out. This photo is for Kristen. She told me how she would drive over it every summer on the way to the Cape growing up. Love you. Flying home is always a pleasure with Porter. Next flight is in the summer if not before. I hope there’s one before. I also hope summer puts a hurry on getting here. I need to get outside and soak up some sun. Maybe I will venture to the island. Enjoy the day!

Rememeber Foursquare Day last year? Yes you do. It was 4/16, I worked at MuchMTV. I printed a big 4sq badge on a tshirt and scooted over to the Loose Moose for the party. I’d been there a few times so when I checked in, I TOOK THE MAYORSHIP. Everyone cheered as I walked to the table then Molson gave me a bucket of beers. It was an epic winning of mayorship & nerd pride. * that gun necklace got me hardcore hassled by border patrol at YYZ last summer! This year’s #4SQDAY meetup in Toronto is at The Firkin @ 461 King Street. For all the info on the Toronto meetup check the FB page. I chatted Karly (@_topshelf), one of the organizers yesterday and there are HEAPS of sponsors, free beer for an hour and BUTTONS like this. I picked up a few buttons yesterday because I will be attending the 4sq Day meetup in Boston at the Boston Common. Rumours floating the interwebs  Foursquare just may have a special badge for those attending the worldwide festivities. Really looking forward to relaxing with my friends & escaping the city.  Also stoked to fly with Porter again!

This is one of my most favbourite books and I totally thought I lent it to someone. So glad I found it, I’ve been mad at myself for months. MAD, angry. Angry like the wake up after you were so wasted you don’t remember what you did and your BFF is mad at you because you did something stupid. (As if NONE of you have ever had that happen?) It’s an inspiring book. My copy is very special because it is filled with notes and drawings I did. It’s writted by Paul Arden. He is a creative genius who worked with Saatchi & Saatchi for over 15 years and did some really awesome ad campaigns. I became obsessed with PHAIDON Publishing after I found this book which lead into an obsession with Saatchi. Safe to say, I was pretty stoked to work with the Toronto Saatchi office for the Toyota car recenetly. THIS: I was so obsessed I wrote a letter to Roger Kennedy the Creative Director of Art and Design, Saatchi & Saatchi in the UK. I will have to dig that up because I bet reading it now & thinking of my former self would be quite charming or potentially inspiring/hilarious. Creativity & smartness are the way to my heart. I picked up the book second hand at Gertrude & Alice, this darling little book shop on Hall Street in Bondi Beach, Australia. Why anyone would discard it is BEYONE me. It was my favourite spot, so old & little and right beseide Le Paris-Go my fav French cafe. It was the ultimate hipster hangout before cool kids were called hipsters (was there 2004). I recently had the bext Friday afternoon escape from work ever, three hours at a SPA! Yep. I received a gift certiificate to ME Spa, not just any spa, Male Esthetics Spa that caters primarily to men. I showed up to this! Spa owner Douglas Coburn told me about his work and we picked a couple services while I sipped champagne & ate strawberries. First up was a full body scrub including face. It was so great do something good for my skin. Post scrub I went in to the bathtoom in a robe to wash off the scrub. You can kinda see it on my skin. After that I jumped into another even softer robe. I swear to you it was like being inside a stuffed animal, like one of those Gund or really expensive stuffed animals. I was already feeling less stress. Douglas used to be the Director of Esthetics at Bode Spa in Ottawa. A men’s spa is quite like any other (woman) spa except here they really know manscaping and how to ease stress of life in the city. I love hearing a guy I know got a manicure or pedicure. It shows you take care of yourself and that is sexy if you are man or woman.  If you are a dude who takes care of yourself, you will likley feel more confident. Then when you use that confidence to chat a beautiful lady, you won’t be self conscious about your unibrow, hairy back (god forbid shoulders), crackly feet, nose hairs (gross) ear hairs (ewww). Let me introduce you to my new friend, Bicyclette Boutique on Queen Street. I met the darling owner Paige on Twitter and after browsing the site, I knew we would get along. The shop is filled with pretty things, vintage, white space,  foreign style, mirrors and heaps of shiny things.  Paige opened the shop in March, although she’s had two pop-up shops and an online presence for a while. It’s totally my kind of shop. Look at all these things. I wish I had my closet organized like a store. Paige calls it “urban meets fairytale“.  See, so me. *sprinkles glitter* I was trying on outfits for the Fashion Connect panel: 265 people have tickets. Cripes. The night is about fashion & technology so, the other day I called out on Twitter to see if someone wanted to outfit me for the night. That’s how Paige & I met. Her twitter is @shopbicyclette. I love meeting people who love what they do. We had a great chat today. Hi Paige! She was at the Blog Stars talk I did last year with Raymi, Sean & Carly. Nice to know she’s had an eye on my blog. I heard about her pop up shop last summer via Twitter 😉 How great is the internet? Pretty awesome great. The shop had a steady flow of girls in & out while I was there. Then, who walked in the door? Only the lovely Carla…who I see EVERYWHERE! I’m gonna start her Jukari & dance classes the week after next at King West Fitness. I really need to get my bike fixed before then. My friends at Molson are a bit wacky but very cool people none the less. They sent me this new thing they’re working on and I wanna know YOUR thoughts. The marketing teams call it a “Taste Buddy”. This prototype is from R&D, its a mix of lycra & neoprene. One size fits any tongue. It’s a tongue koozie to keep your tongue warm when you are drinking ice cold beer.  Kinda like those beer koozies in the summer. Ahhh, Summer & cold beer. These guys take this cold stuff seriously, eh?
