Today I went to the Globe & Mail to chat a friend on the roof patio. Real nice up there. Stephen has a session at NXNE Interactive titled ‘How to Grow Your User Base!” and it just might include me. Check it out here or NXNEi Friday at noon. It was very serious. Look at this form. I work hard at everything I do. Left a note in Lina’s office & said hello to a few others in the G&M haus. Picked up my NXNE wristband. This is the media room. I had to charge my phone. Then I saw the Australian, he got asked what band he’s in. Haha. So cute. Cruised Queen Street, got a new Vice mag, picked up Chippy’s & went to Bellwoods. They actually HAD the halibut this time. Can you believe it? They are ALWAYS out. It was so hot & lovely out. Had the perfect outfit for tanning, loose shorts & tube top. Post lunch got a haircut and guess what? Teacher also goes to Darrek Kwik Studio & he was THERE. It was such a busy day. I zipped outta the salon, walked to Liberty Village and went to School. They were having a summer BBQ and I had an awesome free dinner with a bunch of friends. Thanks guys! Food was grrrrrrrrrreat. Ok bye. I’ve heading to the NXNE Opening Gala then to see Tiny Danza at Cobra w/ Z-List. Hope it’s not too much of a late one. Busy day tomorrow too. Gah.

boyfriend the ocean played live music for me

Best sleep of my life last night. Ocean, I love you. Your melodies were the perfect lullaby. Best bed ever. Huge wooden headboard is my love. So beautiful. Went walking Pensacola Beach by myself last night. It was so lovely. I had no idea the Gulf water was so warm. About to head to the beach now post brekky. Map of where I am here. This is the pier right outside my hotel. Remember the Gulf Oil Spill last year? Covered this same beach in tar balls for about eight miles. Same Pier. Oil came ashore on the beach overnight, and the waters were closed to the public. Geologists dug trenches aong the beach and there were veins of oil buried in approximately 4-6 inches of sand. Crazy eh. “It looked like tobacco spit and smelled foreign, and it pooled in yesterday’s footprints as far as you could see. State officials called it the worst show of crude on shore from the gusher 120 miles away.” Tampa Bay News It’s all clean now but still sad to look out my window to a beautiful view knowing it was once damaged by oil.Click for more photos or oil spill info. These kids were playing in this shell making shadows. I’m going to do that tonight. It was really cute. Passed by some bars but wasn’t in the mood for drinking. Hey Creep! Got the cutest bikini to compliment my pinup girl summer style. Love it. Sun on the face & warm air when I roll outta bed and go to balcony. First thing I do is check phone, get up, check computer, grab camera, go outside. Went to Robyn at Echo Beach w/ Raymi & Teach Friday night. It was awesome. Echo Beach is a new fully outdoor venue inside the Molson Amphitheatre. Stoked to hit that up a bunch this summer. Close to home & cool outdoor spot. Total win. Raymi Teach & I had VIP. Beauty sky. Girl you know it’s true. Glitteratzi graffiti. Love our downtown airport. Toronto is such a cool city. Got ready at Raymi & Teacher’s place. Left my mark there too 😉 New kicks, ILU. Dr.Martens were the shoe of choice last night. Hey Teacher. Ran into my boy Ish. We were in American Pie together years ago. Ran into his GF that time at Bicyclette. Hi Gay Bachelor Blog! It went dark and we danced. A little more over here. Robyn was great. I have like 8,000 things I’m trying to do an I wanna do is blog, blog, blog. Wahhhh. Here’s some things I did today real fast. Had this song stuck in my had all day. You’re welcome. Plank like ‘errrrrrrrry day. New shoes @ Get Outside. I replaced my white canvas Converse (like those words together) every summer. I love summer. Went to a beautiful Dermaglow event at the TIFF Lightbox. The team is fab. Thank you for all the products. I can’t wait to wash my face & moist it in a few mins. I’m excited for Film Fest this year. Keri taking photo to blog and me taking her photo & blogging it. Oooh hehe haha. I kill me. Ate a meat pie. I love meat pies. Wasn’t as good as NZ meat pie though. Say meat pie again. Mince meat w/ potato top are my most fav. I also like patio lunches. Got some jazz in the mail from China I ordered from Etsy. I freaking love Etsy now. I have a bad memory (reason I started this blog) so I forget things often. I didn’t know what was in the package before I opened it. Self gifting FTW. Keri got mail too. Look how happy. coming home, nothing quite like it mama.

Mmm, donut & coffee. What a trip. Getting to Florida isn’t that difficult. I’ve been blessed with great travel the last year so this time, when I encountered delay, after delay, I wasn’t too upset. (Except when I cried on the way there and missed a fancy dinner with my sister & friends.) This was leaving Florida, good sign I reckon, C8. My fav number is 8. Picked up Fast Company (mostly because of the Conan cover) and learned about these rad wooden surf boards. I love surfing. I love the ocean. I love summer. I love…affirmation girl? Bye bye beachy. Mama loves Miami. Home, wahhh. Get me off this thing… just kidding. Look, something shiny out the window. REMEMBER THIS. The reason I picked up Fast Company aside from Conan was this article “The 100 Most Creative People in Business”. I strive to be here one day. Jack Dorsey, (one of the Twitter Founders) is #4 on the list. He is a cool guy. Listened to a few of his talks. There’s a couple good ones on itunesU from Stanford. I totally love Conan. He is so funny, combine that with his divine creativity and you’ve got a whole lot of awesome. I reckon he’s a cool Dad. Does he have kiddios? Alex Kipman from Microsoft (brain behind Kinect) made the list too. I would LOVE a Kinect. So fun. I kick ass at the dancing game. Challenge me anytime!
