I’m touched every time I see the Where the Wild Things Are preview. Must dig up the ‘Save the Wild Things’ shirt before I go see it. Notable TV put up a preview video about Pay it Backward Day you can see here. We’ll get the total count this week. I spoke with Daily Challenge co-founder Darius Bashar and he said the numbers are ridiculous. I ran into some friends there including Warren and Sass who (thankfully!) had camera’s to capture us in action. Warren broke the existing world record and was number 603. Woot! She’s such little darling that Sabrina, after her hair was done she put on a nice dress and went for a stroll.She picked me up a little notebook that reminded her of the Twitter bird, funky pen and a new eyeliner. Made the day even brighter. Early in the day yesterday I was thinking, I’d like to go to a party. Like a good ol’ house party with a BBQ, patio, good music and all the shit. Well, be careful what you wish for, thoughts become things…………… Some of Beans’ friends from uni were having a shindig. There was a brand new deck and was “time to stomp on it” as I was told. Food was cooked on the new BBQ and was delish. THANKS GUYS! Met a cute girl with the same name. Once in a while I meet a boy Casey or a  dog. Quite rare I reckon. How many do you know? My blogging friend Muireann Carey-Campbell is heading back to England and having her send off tonight at Czehoski. After that it’s off to the Labour Day Rock Out Party at Tattoo. it was so weird at the time, i couldn’t stop myself

i’m not sure what happened but it did. i light went on. it was a few things that lead me there. creative people around me, compliments on creative work, being surrounded by smart, successful, creative business people. thinking about ‘it’s not how good you are it’s hot good you wanna be’, one of my favorite books. i feel like i can’t really go back now. they say if you do what you love you will have success, i love doing this. i love writing and taking photos and laughing at myself and remembering thing things i forget. it makes me happy to do social good; social good in funness, good causes, good people. i stayed up all night. learning about things. reading blogs, commenting. drawing in sketchbook.when i have an idea i write it down. i’ve found some neat stuff lately and most i’ve posted on my tubmlr blog. it’s all the things i find around the internet that i don’t put here but like to share. i read a great article called ‘the 7 vices of highly creative people, posted on salon.com, Feb. 9, 200o. i know i have my vices and bad habits, but i have good ones too. read it here. “If you go through life free of bad habits, you won’t live forever, but it will feel like it. ”

Shocker last night from Rogers. Told me I maxed out on my internet usage and now they’re charging me per GB.  For me, that’s like trying to keep me from someone I love. Putting restrictions on the time we spend together.  I want no limits and I want to be able to spend all the time I want together.  I heard from a little bird that it’s gonna get worse too. I was really mad at Rogers, but I’m not anymore.  I’ll just have to take it! You can’t keep me from the internet. I didn’t shave the sides right down again, just a snip. Sorry @brundly_fly, I know what you said. I’d like it to grow a bit but the thing is that it’s going to be awkward and I refuse to have it look ugly. So, for now, it’s kinda same but not half shaved anymore, just short. If you want someone cool to do your hair, go see Darren. His spot is right across from Trinity Bellwoods and the vibe in there is so chill.  I love.  I love. I arrived home to find out we had two packages AND they were both for me.  Lucky day! I got two great snags. I’m not sure where the book came from but the video came from The Comedy Network. They wanna send me stuff now. THANK YOU! Getting mail is one of my most favorite things, especially surprise mail. we have hundreds of mc donalds toys

Things are a little different in the East end. They move at a different pace then the West. The people look different. More dogs, wives, kids, lawns, antique shops, less hipsters. I’ve never seen a house like this before. It’s in the East end at Queen and Bertmount Ave on Bertmount, about a block North of Queen. Necessary pull over for photos. I’ve been trying to think up stories all day about the people that live here. The lady that put all these guys up. How long? What does she look like? Her name is Shirley. She won best small garden from the city one year. Best garden. Yes, best GARDEN! Look at this baby and say ‘best small garden’ out loud. There are so many random and tattered toys all over. It’s crazy. We collected Mc Donald’s Happy Meal toys. Mum has hundreds of them in the basement. Boxed. Original packaging. Barbies, Beanie Babies, Playmobile, Lego, Batman, Disney stuff and more. Somebody needs a thingamabob? So creepy. Tahnee keeps freaking out every time she looks at my screen. She said at Christmas Shirley decks the place out in lights. I can’t even imagine. Ok, I can but I don’t want to. These are most definitely different to the type of kids toys you see on Youtube. Quite frankly, I think a child looking at these toys too long would need to go to therapy. Today was as the kind of hot I love when it’s sticky and your skin stays soft all day. I took a watermelon to a bbq in the afternoon. Love summer melons. Thanks for having me guys! Browsed a book at their place with some valuable lessons in it. This was a cute one.

absolutely, a total need for something different

I’ve always been a little different. I when I little I would mix match the couple outfits Mum would lay out on the bed to wear and make my own. I wore two different socks one time, orange and green to match the shorts shirt combo. I remember it. A parent turned to Mum and said “You’re gonna let her go like that?” as Mum says, “If she feels confident like that then I’m not gonna stop her”. Thank you Mum. It’s important to be different. Mum made the dress I wore to the Notable TV party about 16 posts ago. The video of the party just came out, go watch it now! Julian talked about the the Notable brand in his toast (3:28) which is my favorite part after Raymi and I at 2:40. haha j.k. There are some cool smart young people featured on Notable TV and I like how Julian wants to give people something different. I think that’s important. I truly love the amount of motivation & determination amongst Generation Y in Toronto. There are some really cool things going on in this city. Makes me proud!

“i can’t write today somethings wrong i can’t smile today life is a sad song my heart hurts so does my foot in my shoe, today is a sad day without you. “ This is a little poem published in my book in 1996. I’m working on getting that site up so you can see all the good stuff I did when I was a teeny-bopper. It runs through my head when I get writers block, prime example…today. I hate the days when I have so many thoughts I can’t even get them down. If I have to think too much about what to write I save a draft and start something new and random then see where it goes.  I’ve composed three today. My mind is racing with excitement about projects and a few other things. I’m really looking forward to Wired Wednesday tonight. I feel like I weird Wednesday right now.  Didn’t bike today, my dress is too pretty. Dating: UK men vs Canadian men from Muireann Carey-Campbell on Vimeo. I’ve met some really rad girls in the TO blogging scene. I want to share a video of Muireann from Bangs and Bun. I watched it today and I have a crush on her accent. somebody’s got a case of the mondays

busy day today. woke up the sun on my face heating up the room. happy but a little sad it wasn’t a wellies day. had a pretty lazy weekend. slept all day saturday.  was really nice. was really tired too.  i didn’t go to mexico as you may have noticed. had a good reason to stay home. went to roastery in liberty village for lunch to tweet and facebook internet and made a couple 12 seconds videos. love the web cam laptop feature. could be dangerous. haha. was by my self for most the time and they was suprised by a you which was nice. unexpected. the girls and I had a nice afternoon yesterday. lazy with wine and girly chats. the vibrating mascara makes my lashes pretty. beautiful sunday it was. the rain was comforting and the sun peeked out a few times.i’m dying to watch annie hall., been going on for days now.  behind on writing things and getting back to people. tonight, i tell myself so it’s more likley to get done.  i hope my glasses arrive today. i feel like i get more work done when i wear glasses. focus. went to a jays game on friday. will update  about that experience later. was fun and met some cool people. i feel tired today but had a good sleep. must be the weather people always say. my dress makes today me look like a teacher.

even when it rains, it shines

they weren’t just a pair of  boots to me. they became part of my life, i loved them.  i would wear them all the time and when they were gone things just never seemed the same. i though about them and everytime the weather said rain i missed them a little more. i don’t know where they went but i got a replacement to fill the empty space on my feet when it rains. the forecast is calling rain for a week i say let the rain shine. white wellies.
