I’m sitting here eating a big fatty poutine and my mind is racing with all the things I have to get done. Spent the weekend doing fun stuff with friends.  It was Jeff’s birthday and Karrera came over and tested me for allergies too. More on that stuff later. I’ve got heaps of emails that need my attention, not to mention all the work I have to get done at the office. I’m not complaining, I truly love it, I just wish there were more hours in a day or I could function without sleeping.  I had an awesome week last week. I got asked to attend a Young Entrepreneurs Conference this weekend as a Social Media Star & MTV girl.  I’m working on a part for a pilot with YTV. Paid writing gigs are becoming more frequent.  I’ve got some holiday giveaways planned for December with some Givenchy and Burts Bees for you. AND people keep asking me for advice on social media. Finally, my hard work is paying off!! On a naughtier note, I watched Sex Rehab last night. I saw a promo for it at the office and though it would be interesting…it is.  I’ll be tuning in every Sunday for therapy. haha I also wanna be Lady Gaga in Bad Romace. zomg. In case you were wondering, or if you weren’t, I’m gonna tell you anyways.. I’m still vibrating my eyelashes every morning with the Maybelline mascara. The mascara is really quite good. Been a while since I actually liked one for the product vs. the price. Smelling ever so sexy in Givenchy Play.  Play comes out in August and features Justin Timberlake in sexy photos. Maybe you remember my sexy ones to match? I’ve got a new pair of prescription glasses on the way from Glasses USA thank-you-very-much. Black rimmed ones like an old man but good for a young lady. Tomorrow night is #Genyto at the London Tap house downtown. I’m looking forward to seeing smiling faces like the ones in this photo of @kathrynboland,@rlangdon, @MichelSavoie & @kevrichard . There will be lots of cool kids there. It’s Rayanne’s birthday too so look the fuck out. Someone on Twitter just said I look like Toni Collette bur more bitchin’. That’s hot.

it has its benefits

I realized this morning as I put on my new vibrating mascara followed by my unreleased Givenchy fragrance that blogging really does have its benefits. Mum reminds me sometimes.  I’m always thinking about the next step. Last year I got a heap of cool jazz. Last night I got invited to Dermologica thanks to Marie from Karmacake.ca. I left with a whole skin care routine specific to what I like/need to make my face look extra lovely. It’s fun to meet other bloggers and this time it was all girls who were all very nice.  I’m excited to see where this bloggy takes me, it’s growing and I’m having lots of fun writing it. I’m also thankful for the opportunities it’s given me! I like going back and reading crazy thoughts that came out of my head and I often wonder “what was I thinking?”. It’s part of the fun of having a crappy memory!  Sometimes when I have a bad day or feel like crap it’s comments from you that completely change my mood and make me smile. Thanks for reading it. The new Wired just arrived at my desk…it’s a good day.

it reminds me of him, the smell is strong, slightly sexy and sensual. i lay in my bed and i think of him and the way he smells. it’s only been two weeks since the scent first captivated my senses.  i like it.  i put it on.  it’s made for a man but  i think about how nice it is on my skin.  they said play evokes emotion.  a certain style surrounds me, one of sophistication and sexuality at the same time. play could mean anything,  it makes my thoughts soar…it’s strong but soft, it’s my new favorite scent. the new givenchy fragrance arrived in my mail bag about two weeks ago. i’ve been wearing it and i really like it. it’s called  play and it’s for men .   justin timberlake is the face of the fragrance.  it smells good. sabrina likes it too, i put it on today and she came in asking about it.  the bottle is designed by french artist and designer serge mansau. it comes out in august 2009 at the bay & shoppers. if you’re lucky to come across it before then, take a whiff.  if you see me, i’ll have it on.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH YES! I got some goodies today. They arrived in a big white gift bag with my name on it: I opened the bag and much to my surprise was a beautiful 50ml Ange ou Demon eau de toilette, 200ml bath gel and for my special man a 50ml Pour Homme eau de toilette spray. How awesome! I love testing out new jazz and getting presents delivered too. Makes me very happy! Ange ou Demon smells very soft and light. Not flowery or vanilla, I hate those smells. Its light enough that I could wear it all the time. It is not as strong as Hot Couture that I received a few months ago. I liked it also, but I reckon it’s more evening wear. This one is quite delicate. I like it. ♥ Try it out for yourself while out holidayshopping and let me know your thoughts.

Speaking of hotness….. I’ve received a bottle and gift bag from Givenchy not too long ago containing Hot Couture EDT. At first smell, I loved it. Well… I have had the beautiful bottle in my room for the past month. When the ladies come over for drinks, or before going out, it is common to hear “i’m just gonna steal a little spray of this“. Voila! I have shared the greatness of Givenchy and now, the girls all seem to love it. I highly recommend buying it yourself. As for my dear best friends, you can buy me a new one whenit runs out!!! I recently received the Givenchy tote in the photo (right) containing the new HOT Couture scent from Givenchy. It smells awesome it has a very light woody, spicy scent to it that lasts the whole day. I’ve had complements, so trust me on this one! I don’t like scents that are too overpowering or make me sneeze and this one is light enough to keep you feeling elegant & feminine all day.
