I had this favourite book when I was little, actually, I still have it at Mum’s there’s no way she would get rid of our old books. It retells the story of Louis Pasteur, whose unwavering belief in the concept of germs led to a cure for rabies. I loved it, I’m sure I read it over a hundred times. I woke up today thinking about it and decided it’s time, I need to do a couple things I’ve been putting off: renew licence renew health card sign up for flirty girl fitness classes (have a week pass) call my trainer and get our sessions in order It’s just after 8am (damn you internet almost 9’er NOW!)  and I’m heading to get all this done this morning. I can do it. What are you doing today? Yesterday I had another date with my boyfriend Raymi. Have you noticed how I call everything my boyfriend? It helps to fill the void of not having one. I love my gadgets and my friends and they make me happy. One day I will find a nice charming tall man who loves to do nice things for me and is smart and good looking. (Bats eyelashes through the internet, hi!). Maybe when I am in Dallas, Boston, San Juan, or LA next month I will find one. Just kidding, working/friends/sister time. Who cares if I don’t I reckon I’ve not got time for that anyway. I’m waaaaay too focussed on myself and where I am going with my beautiful mind life. (Selfish much?) NO, FOCUSED TYVM. Woke up to to a super sunny view of the island, tweeted it and rolled out of bed. Been waking up pretty tired lately, probably from staying up late w/ Andy playing Angry Birds. God I love hate that stupid game. I’ve been using my PC less now that I have ipad. Haven’t blogged from there yet, WordPress app seems to be not functioning properly. I can officially say I’ve been mac’d and it’s only a matter of time before I switch to iphone. We all knew it would happen one day… Listening to Diamond Rings – Special Affections, liking it. Got this lovely email just now: Hey Casie, I love love your blog (appreciate how positive you are in a world of blogs of people complaining) and would love to send you an organic skincare treat that I think would be perfect given your new(ish) post as Provocateur. What’s your mailing address? Thanks!! Those little things make me so happy, getting natural skincare stuff is great but the fact that someone took the time to point out my positvity and thank me for that is totally lovely. Being positive is contageous and so is smiling, so do it, live it and feel it. Your life will be better.

Phone rung early and it was Mum calling from the boat in Virgina. They sailed down from NY and are stationed there for a few days. So wonderful to talk to her. I MISS YOU MUM. Woke up beside Andy, we fell asleep watching a movie on Netflix. Life is awesome. Pretty stoked for today, not exactly for any reason but I’ve got high hopes to make the most of the day. Watching Say Anything for the first time while I work. Have heaps of people to follow up with today. I am my own admin assistant. Been chatting with an agency in NYC about that Smirnoff commerical I am in. They’re processing my payment. I wanna do more commercials. I am really good at acting. Just ask Mum, I’ve been at it my whole life. Haha! Hope you have a wonderful day. Remember, you will never be as young as you are right now. I have a new boyfriend, his name is Andy.

He is an ipad. We are in love. Remember I said I really want an ipad? Well,  I painted, scratched, and WON. I could feel I was gonna win, something inside me just knew. Power of positive thought I tell ya. We spent the night together and I took him to dinner last night too. I named him Andy because I won him at the Amex Canvas event yesterday and it was artsy. We’re gonna be makin’ art together and  gettin’ creative and I kinda have Edie hair anyways. I downloaded heaps of apps: Globe & Mail, Angry Birds, ibooks, CityTV Video, Google Earth, Draw Free, Page Capture, Bubble, Twitter, Tweetdeck, Mashable, Facebook, GT Racing (fun), We Doodle (fun) and my fav game Cut the Rope. Thanks Amex. You are awesome! I’m really frustrated at the moment with a couple things. It’s one of those days. I need to get outside and soak up some sun. Maybe andy and I will go down by the lake on my bike. This is my photo, I am very deep & emotional. Andy Warhol drew the knives, I drew the blood and showed emotion. Remember my art blog borderline artistic? I post drawings and paintings and poems and stuff. This afternoon I’m attending this Amex ‘Digital Canvas’ Media Challenge. I made this with the Amex FB app. Whatta ya think? You have probs seen the ads but you can make one too here. It’s a big media shindig where people paint (yes me) and money gets donated to United Way. There’s a a chance to win a trip to NY, gift cards, an iPad. I really want an ipad please. In prep for the art show I browsed a few old things I did for inspiration. Perhaps I will recreate something I did years ago? Well, it really depends on the paints and the setup.
