Hey lovelies. It’s been a busy month with heaps of events, NXNE, MMVA,  Vancouver, and Montreal. I’m dying to get back up to the cottage and will be doing so after Red Bull’s Solstice event at Cabana Pool Bar on Friday night. I was there last weekend, it’s a pretty sliiiiiiick summer party spot. I’m gearing up to start shooting the new season of THIS: The Hot Internet Show on Coral TV. We’ve been signed on  as a partner by Kin Community, THE LARGEST LIFESTYLE CHANNEL ON YOUTUBE, so, I need to step up my game here. One of their partners is THE ELLEN SHOW. Sorry for yelling, this is all very exciting.  I met some od the team from NY last night and they are just lovely. I’m wondering what you might like to see on THIS? The show is co-produced by me and I’ve got the freedom to be creative and plan episodes. In the past I’ve covered events, tech apps, gadgets, travel accessories, and summer accessories. I was thinking about doing some things with a tech-style theme and more around blogging (since that’s my expertise!) I’d love to get any ideas from YOU! I’ve been biking heaps since the weather has FINALLY warmed up. One of my fav things this time of year is shopping for new spring things! As I was browsing the CAA website  last week I was pleasantly surprised to see I can save 10% at Payless with my membership! I like shoes. Actually, I love shoes! Each summer I wear heaps of flat shoes and often wear them out from all my walking, biking, concerts, and activities. So, affordable little flats are perfect. Plus, a girl can never have too many shoes! I went to the Payless store located conveniently across from the Eaton Centre on Yonge Street. There are over 40 stores in the GTA and you can also order online. There’s heaps of shoes for men, women, and kids, with all kinds of accessories. You’ll save 10% if you show your CAA card when making a purchase.  Plus, their Summer Preview Sale is on now! I’m super impressed with all the life-side assistance savings from CAA. I’ve had my membership for about 3 months and already saved more having it than the cost of the membership. Remember my trip to Boston? Next on my list is a movie date and dinner where I use my CAA card to impress my BF with my savvy savings. Had lunch with Mum and Dad last week and they BOTH recently renewed their memberships. Beautifully Terrifying Thunder Clouds

The clouds flying in to Toronto this morning at 6am were so incredibly beautiful. It was like a movie. Floating through the air with these big fluffy things. It was turbulent and lightening ready to strike any moment.  I could see it flashing across the sky in clusters f clouds. All I could think was ‘please get us safely to the ground’. The landing was smooth and I exited the airport within about 15 minutes. Photos are taken with HTC One and the video was magically put together by the phone’s photo assistant, Zoe. She’s awesome! I’m planning to show her off in an upcoming Coral episode of THIS. Subscribe to the channel at youtube.com/coral. It’s so lovely outside. If you’re stuck in the office make sure you pop outside for a tour around the block, catch some rays. Have a beautiful day,  CASIE This was a neat social campaign from YVR during their construction. They asked people to share photos on Instagram and Twitter tagged #YVRCANADA then displayed them in large stickers in the airport as it is being renovated. Vancouver, I like you.

Who could hang a name on you? When you change with every new day.

Hello, hope the day is treating you well. Huge haul at The Sweet Potato last night. I made a nice healthy dinner and he played records. I also made kale chips. Who am I?! If this is growing up, I really like it. Feels good to have quiet nights at home after being on the go for the last 5 years at every event in the city. I’m much pickier about the things I go to these days. The sky in Toronto was really beautiful last night. Had a drink and snack at The Drake hotel with a former colleague from MTV. My how times change! It’s always nice to catch up with old friends. If they’ve been reading my blog, we seem to always pick up right where we left off. Pretty stoked to go to Boston next weekend. Crazy thing, the people from CityPASS contacted me after I mentioned them in the CAA post last week about travelling to NY & LA. The power of THE INTERNET is truly amazing! Looking forward to touring around the city and showing Sean all my fav spots. We’ll start with Harvard, MIT, and the Boston Common. Hopefully we have spring weather by then! My friend and babe Anna Cyzon just released a new music vid for her song ‘Into the Sun’. I missed the launch event last week and planned to tell you all about it. We’ve always bonded over our blondeness and that we both used to work at MTV. Anna Cyzon ‘Into the Sun’ launch, Spoke Club The first part of the video is a little dark for Monday morning but song is good! ‘Into the Sun’ reminds me of a poem I wrote in 2004 when I lived in Australia. It’s one of my favs. As the waves crashed on the shore, The wind washed them away. And as I walked along the sand, I felt I could not stray. Last weekend I booked a trip with Sean to visit some friends next month in Boston. I go there about twice a year for a mini vacation. He’s never been to ‘beantown’ so I’m pretty excited to show him around the gorgeous city. Mum is always first to remind me about the importance of travel insurance and for this trip I was able to purchase it online through CAA using my new CAA membership. As I was checking out all the life-side assistance benefits from CAA I was happy to find out I can save money on a Boston CityPASS. The CityPASS allows you to check out some of the greatest attractions in the city at a discounted price.It’s valid 9 days from day of first use and you get to skip most ticket lines with your CityPASS in hand. You know I hate waiting in lines! CityPASS gives you admission to these 5 must-see Boston attractions: New England Aquarium (Never been!) Museum of Science (Never been!) Skywalk Observatory So cool. See photo below! Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (Never been!) Harvard Museum of Natural History OR Revolutionaty Boston at The Old State House The Boston CityPASS was $89.95 and with CAA I saved $45.96 PER TICKET. After having my membership for a mere two months, I have saved more than the membership itself costs! Yeah! I went to the skywalk last year it it was so neat! There’s a full 360 view of downtown Boston. The night I was there the Blue Jays were playing the Red Socks at Fenway Park and I took this photo. I think the Jays won. Last month the team at Community put on an awesome launch event for Grey Goose Cherry Noir. Despite the wretched weather that night, the event was a success. We trended to the #1 spot in Canada gaining a few million impressions for our client. It was my first big event with Community as the Director of Social Media and I was pretty happy with the results. Watch the Grey Goose Cherry Noir Launch Video One of my FAV parts of the launch was Instaprint, the Instagram printer we flew in from New York. People could tag their instagrams with #cherrynoir and have them print out at the event. It was so rad. i came home with a stack of about 20. There are smaller launch events happening in Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa over the next few weeks. Day 2 of World Mastercard Fashion Week was pretty fun. My fav thing (as I already said) is seeing all my fashion friends in one place. It’s a riot to make laughs, see outfits, and have cocktails together. I saw three shows David Dixon, DUY, and Line Knitwear. LINE was my fav.
