Events | Thomas Sabo Opening at Eaton Centre #SABOinthe6

Last week I celebrated the opening of Thomas Sabo’s latest Toronto store in the Eaton Centre. Our special guest was none other than Jennifer Grace who you *might* know more as Native Fox. Top LA blogger & model.  We hung out at the store for the evening and chatted. She’s super nice! We had a few laughs and traded blog tales. People were lined up before the event started to be the first to enter and receive a special Love Bridge bracelet w/ engraving. My Love Bridge is engraved with my name but I feel like I need another one with something more creative or inspiring. Not that I don’t love my name but you know that I mean!  A few other bloggers & Thomas Sabo ambassadors were in the house, Justine (Jet Set Justine) and Alexander (Kenton Magazine). The new store is now open for business and near the new foodcourt on the second level. If you don’t feel like venturing to the Eaton Centre you can always visit thomassabo.com to order online. I’ve been humming and hhhaaaaaaing over a few of their rings to treat myself. There are so many nice ones, I can’t decide. Check out some of my previous events and adventures with Thomas Sabo over the past few years here.

Fashion | Gifts that Keep on Giving, TOMS for Target

Starting November 16th you can find a special collection by TOMS at Target stores across North America. The limited-edition collection is co-designed by TOMS founder and chief shoe giver, Blake Mycoskie and goes along with TOMS One for One® giving model where every purchase helps a person in need. Along withe the collection they also created this totally awesome ‘Together Sweater’ inspired by TOMS One for One. Naturall, I tried it on with all my fav people. I love togetherness. Sean has agreed to wear it to a ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater Party’ and I reckon it’s a contest winner! Sorry guys, the sweater ISN’T for sale. They’ve got items for for men, women, kids, and home and with this collection, Target is donating a blanket, meals or shoes in partnership with TOMS and North America-based charities American Red Cross Disaster Relief, Canadian Red Cross, Feeding America and Food Banks Canada. Each product displays the corresponding donations so you can easily see how your purchase is helping someone out. I’ve got a couple pairs of TOMS and have picked a few of my fav items from the Target collection below. Love this poncho and am hoping to score one bright and early tomorrow morning. Each purchase will give a blanket so someone in need. Sean’s fav outfit is chambray shirts and jeans, aka the Canadian tuxedo. The plan is to pick one of these up for him and by doing that, TOMS will provide one week of meals through one of their selected charities. The kids clothes are especially cute and by picking something up for your fav lil’ shorty you’re doing some good.  This t-shirt gives 1 week of meals and the hoodie 1 blanket. The housewares items are all under $30 and make great gifts. I’m a fan of these little journals. Nothing like afresh new…

Popped into the Rudsak sample sale yesterday just after 10am when it opened and there were heaps of shoppers filling their arms. It comes at the perfect time of year since winter just hit! There’s a ton of shoes, bags, accessories (hats, gloves, wallets etc), as well as winter coats and spring/fall leather jackets. In a preview of the sale the other day I picked up a new leather/fur jacket, purse, and boots. The sale is at 99 Sudbury and runs November 13th-16th. Full details below.       If you’re not familiar with Rudsak you might want to check out my posts from their April sample sale, fashion week, and the store opening at Yorkdale earlier this year. Founded in Montreal in 1994, Rudsak is a brand that celebrates the authentic cool rebel. They’ve got a rock and roll attitude with a focus on quality leather. This year they celebrated 20 years with a capsule collection named after 20 rockstar greats with only 20 of each item available. Fashion | Ted Baker London Now Open At Eaton Centre

Last week Ted Baker London opened a new store at the Eaton Centre. The store is located right across the the Apple Store on the second floor near Queen Street. Love that Apple & Ted’s new shop are so close. Media, bloggers, and brand lovers filled the store to check out the latest collection, intimate details of the store, and dine on English treats from P&L Catering. These little savoury pies were divine! I ate my share of mini sausage rolls too. Here’s some snaps from the event via Katherine Holland/Faulhaber Communications. I was wearing that darling hot pink dress I absolutely love. It’s available the store right now along with a bunch of other great dresses perfect for the holidays. The whole gang of Ted Baker London Brand Ambassadors was on site for the opening. I’m sure you recognize a few faces! Tweeters gonna tweet, tweet, tweet! I really love the attention to detail in everything Ted baker London. Pattered jacket linings, quotes on accessories, little monogrammed initials, unique buttons, there’s personality in all the details.  In the new ‘Bakers Arcade’ themed shop you’ll find something special in every nook and cranny. There’s so many darling pieces in the shop right now. I love this blue number! Collar dresses are my fav. This green suit. I die. I have a version of this camel cape coat from last season. So nice. I’m hoping to pop in over the next few days to pick up a super cute riding hat for winter. Here’s to a wonderful weekend! Happy Friday! <3 CASIE

Media | Dundas West #LoveMyHood

Throughout September I was featured by Bench Canada in their Love My Hood campaign. You might have seen a couple of these photos on their Instagram or Facebook. We snapped these shot at  the Wallace Ave. bridge that was built in 1907. Their contest ends this week so scroll down for details on how you can enter. The bridge covers the train tracks that are currently being expanded to service the new GoTrain Express to Person Airport. Alongside the bridge, is the West Toronto Railpath that I like to run on and where I took heaps of GoPro photos at last winter. Dug up these old photos fro the depths of the Internet. I love seeing how the city has changed. I think about how the Internet has changed my life in the last 10 years, imagine how this bridge feels?! 🙂  Wearing: Bench hoodie, dress from Brandy Melville, boots from NastyGal It’s your last chance, our #LoveMyHood contests ends in a week! Have your shown us your city yet? pic.twitter.com/tcLCocIG10 — BENCH Canada (@BenchCanada) September 23, 2014 This is the last week to enter their #LoveMyHood contest. You can win $500 and 2 round trip flights anywhere in Canada. Tag your photos #LoveMyHood and make sure you’re following@BenchCanada. Good luck! You can bring a friend so like, if your BFF is away, you can always invite me.  Thanks Bench Canada for this new monogrammed hoodie. I love things with my face and or name on them! See all posts tagged Bench from over the years here. Have an awesome day. Remember, you’ll never be younger than you are today, so make the most of it! <3 CASIE

Fashion | TakeTheLead w/ Ted Baker AW2014

I love seeing brands create good video content. Now, I’m a little bias on this one because I’ve been working w/ Ted Baker London for over a year and I absolutely love the clothes. Here’s a look at what’s coming to a store near you for Autumn/Winter 2015. Since it’s Thursday, here’s a pic Ted Baker posted from my visit to their 5th Avenue Grand House in New York last August. We had a blast! Later that day I met Justin Bieber. NBD! Take a peek at all the beauties in the latest collection at tedbaker.com. There’s a downtown store opening on October too FYI! Huzzah! With love, CASIE

TURONNO: Where It’s At!

OH HEYYYYYYYY. LIKE MY NEW SHIRT? I came across this beauty and just had to have it! They were out of stock when I placed my order so I kinda forgot about it, then when I came home from vacation, it was here. ‘Turonno’ by Button Machine calls to how us Torontonians say ‘Toronto’. Nobody says ‘Tor-onto’ we all say Turonno. I absolutely LOVE when brands send it little ad-ons when you buy something online. They included their ‘Ol’ Dirty Rob‘ sticker. Thanks guys! In other news, I really hope we get a new mayor when the election rolls around. Our choices aren’t that great, but just about anyone is better than RoFo! You can get your very own Turonno shirt or tank here. MUCH LOVE FROM THE T.DOT, The 6, TEEOHH, TURONNO! BYE FELICIA. <3 CASIE

Dance w/ Me: #TedBakerAW14 + Holiday Preview

Last night I checked out the AW14 + holiday collections from Ted Baker London at Danceology in Liberty Village. I got to preview a few items a couple weeks ago an upcoming feature shot by  George Pimentel, wore the pink dress! There are some incredibly beautiful items. Ted is a brand with impeccable details, the buttons, collars, inner linings, everything has a touch of personality. The holiday stuff is dreamy with heaps of sparkles. There’s a couple great leather items including a moto jacket with sleeves and a fur collar that zip off. I love this one. All leather. So soft. I love this little riding hat. Andrew Dobson just posted a story w/ a riding hat like this in Metro. But it has a long pony! BTW if you want a marble phone case you can get one here. In other news, there’s a Ted Baker London store opening at the Eaton Centre in October. It’s going to be located on the third floor right across from the Apple Store. Pretty stoked! As an ambassador I’ve hosted a few events at the Yorkdale shop but it’s so far! Stay tuned for the next shopping party! There’s a @ted_baker store opening at @toeatoncentre in October! #tedbakerAW14pic.twitter.com/s8OSdVoNLq — CASIE STEWART (@casiestewart) August 18, 2014 See the full AW14 collection at tedbaker.com or pop by your closest shop in September. Hope your week is off to a great start. Much love! <3 CASIE
