Good morning from the gym. Can you believe I’m here this early? Cripes! I’m serious about gettin’ beach ready for Costa Rica and more fit in general TBH. Jukari uses Cirque to Soleil to bring fitness to life. Look at me flying in that GIF, so fun! Did my first Jukari Fit to Fly class with Julie a couple months ago (see here) and loved it.  She’s is back from Montreal to teach today’s Fit to Flex class. Today’s workout is more stretching & resistance using the Jukari Band. Heading to 99 Sudbury post workout for AndroidTO, Canada’s largest Android conference. I’ve been an Android user for about two years. Currently using Motorola DEFY. Filming a video with the uber hot Jason Howlet this afternoon after the conference. Call sheet said to bring a dress & pajamas. I wonder what we’ll be doing!

Feeling like I have heaps on my plate. You know that feeling? Yeah. Good thing I enjoy making lists and checking things off.  I’m going back & forth planning my trip to Costa Rica and haven’t event started to face the car situation. My coffee is cold. Insurance, licence plate, kinda overwhelming considering I’ve never had a car. I’d love to be outside right now. I should be getting in the shower, meeting in an hour. I spend so much time writing emails these days. Accounts receivable is a fun part of my job too. I hate math. I ate so much yesterday. I could use a visit to the gym. Wonder if I got mail today? Have a meeting this afternoon to get my first piece of MERCH. You gonna want it. Stoked.  Tonight is the Greta SS 2012 show. Toronto Fashion Week starts Monday. THIS IS MY LIFE> oh my gaga. How old would you think you are if you didn’t know how old you are?

I don’t know. Right now I feel just like a chald because I’m so excited. This entire month is full of work, the kind of work I’ve wanted to do and been working towards, speaking, hosting, events and working with really great people to do fun things. More deets later this week.  I’m also just a little,  kinda excited because I’M GOING TO COSTA RICA ON A SURFING & YOGA RETREAT. I’m visiting Anamaya Resort in Montezuma for 7 days of sun, surf and yoga. I’ve not surfed in years so I’m realllllly looking forward to it. I’ve never  been on a solo vacation and I’m dying surf. Keri & I test drove some cars then went for a tour around the big F21. How old are you? No really? Forever 21! P.S. Spring is my fav time of year, there’s nothing like flowers, fresh cut grass, and  fashion. I love digging out the box of summer dresses, rompers, and shorts that hide under my bed most the year. I’ve partnered with Sherway Gardens to share my favourite spring trends and help style up a lucky person like you. Here’s three of my favourite trends this season. Contest entry details below! SPRING STYLE: Sheer – I’ve been picking up sheer items since my last trip to New Zealand for fashion week. Long skirts, drapey blouses, sleeveless shirts and anything that flows nicely in the wind. I love the way something sheer has a certain innocence while being slightly sexy. Look for lots of bright colours & prints and have at least one skirt in rotation. You’ll find a great selection of sheer tops & bottoms at American Apparel. They have the maxi skirt in a selection of shades. Short Shorts – I’m a big fan of short shorts because they’re fun to wear and make your legs look long when you throw on some heels.  My tip is to make sure you don’t buy them too small, try the next size up when you’re shopping. You want to be cool & comfortable not stuffed in! I got a great pair of denim cutoffs from Victoria Secret. When you’re at Sherway Gadens try VS and American Eagle. AE has a ton of styles including drawstring and white denim. White Lace/Chrochet – Did you notice this trend at Coachella or SXSW?  I’ve got my eye out for a cutesie white crochet number. I’ve seen this on Pinterest in  collars, bathers, blazers, tank tops and platforms. Chill out, it’s the 70’s! You’ll find this look at Guess or Costa Blanca.
