Welcome to 50 Shades of HEYYYYYY! Bad joke, whatever. I got bored of the book and only made it half way.
In other news, yesterday I peeped the 2013 leathers from Danier. I could use a new jacket, mine is ripped. There were some pretty lovely coloured leathers and a few bags I could have easy just walked out with. (I kid, I kid.)
No really though. Love you leather long time.
These are some of my favs!
Upstairs was the preview of Princess Tam Tam 2013, (who I was just introduced to) with adorable french llingere. “Princesse tam.tam, c’est une marque de femmes pour les femmes… Une saga unique, des produits et des couleurs étonnantes et détonantes.” Hello, I love you too. The styles are super cute, as the shapes and colours. I’m crushing on the bright undergarments that would undoubtedly give you a bounce in your step (but not your bra!). Ha!
Thanks Brill Communications for this lovely little camisole from Princess Tam Tam and vest from Danier.
I’ve put a new leather on my holiday wish list and have my eyes on spring swimwear. I’m thinking these ones would be a good fit.
Today a special edition of Marketing Magazine came out and it’s all about social media! If you turn to page 28, you’ll see a one pager titled “The Perks of Being an Influencer” and it’s all about me. (Note yesterday’s post about the film!)
It details some of the campaigns I’ve been a part of over the last few years and a bit about my new role at Community as Director of Social Media. Thank you Marketing Magazine for featuring me! Photo was shot by the wonderful Steve Carty.
Go pick up a copy if you are interested in the internet AT ALL. It’s full of great features about the web, bloggers, social media, and of course marketing!
Earlier this year I was filmed for a documentary called ‘It’s All About Me‘ directed by Antoine Gaber (LA/Toronto). The first trailer is now online and HERE IT IS. The film is all about GenY and technology. I always get nervous when something I’m in comes out. Gah! It’s getting submitted to festivals around the world later this month. My scenes were filmed at Darren Kwik Studio and Bicyclette Boutique on Queen in March 2012. I can’t wait to see the whole thing next year. MY FACE ON THE BIG SCREEN GUISEEEEE! Show your love Like for the film on Facebook/itsallaboutmemovie.
I’ve been spending the weekends charging my batteries lately. Monday to Friday are so busy that by the time Saturday morning rolls around all I want to do is cook, clean, and rest. I went to Cavalcade of Lights presented by Great Gulf on Saturday for the first time since I’ve lived in Toronto. It was magical! Sunday I cleaned the house, baked brownies, and made a delicious dinner for myself before watching the AMAs. Here’s some of my fav tweets from the weekend.
These panoramic ones below were taken using 360 on Android. So beautiful!
Have an awesome week my friends. Remember, you will never be younger than you are today SO MAKE IT A GREAT ONE.

Last night I ventured uptown to Yorkdale Mall for the VIP pre-opening of the $220 million expansion. Yorkdale added 145,000-square feet of space 800 more parking spots, 27 new stores and a high-end food court. Five upscale stores are making their debut in Canada: Microsoft, Tesla Motors, Ted Baker London, Kate Spade and Ann Taylor Loft.
As an Ambassador for Ted Baker in Canada, I was extremely happy to hang out in the store, try on clothes and meet the entire team. I got a few goodies too, Scuba dress, bulldog scarf, I haven’t been to Yorkdale in ages and it’s really quite a lovely destination. Stop into the Ted Baker store this weekend for a chance to win a $2,500 shopping spree. Hellooooo!
It’s Thursday. It’s almost the weekend. I’m not really a lazy person but I love to laze I really do.. When I get home from work, especially in winter, I change out of my day clothes once I walk in the door, and slip into something, a little more confortable…
And when I say confortable, I mean something ACTUALLY CONFORTABLE. I have two pairs of LAZYPANTS and they are so cozy, the ‘ultimate in sweatpants technology’ for confort and style. In Toronto, you can them at Holt Renfrew, Leigh and Harlow, TNT, DEW, and they retail for $80.
I have a pair for you, one lucky man or woman.
Pick your own size and colour too, just for you.
HOW TO WIN:
Tweet/Link to a photo of WHY YOU NEED LAZY SUPPORT?
You must explain in 140 characters or less why you need some assistance with your laziness.
Props for creativity and using #thatslazy
One winner, picked FRIDAY 5PM. Pants to be sent next week.
Examples: Born lazy, broken leg, car in the shop, exhausted from training elephants, climbed a mountain, surfed all day
