Thank you! I had the best day and it’s mostly bc of you, friends, family. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. Grateful to have you in my life and appreciate your love. I often have anxiety around my birthday and this year, I somehow felt calm amidst all the chaos. I ran 4K with Sean in the morning and we did a meditation on a rock in the woods. He surprised me with a bunch of useful presents then cooked a huge BBQ for dinner. I opened a few goodies from friends and loved getting messages from around the world. At 8pm I had a Zoom party and my favourite thing was each friend taking a moment to share what they loved about me. It was like a Casie Conference of Love! I don’t remember the last time I had a birthday party but this was better than I could have imagined. Will never forget my Quarantine Birthday and can’t wait to hug IRL when this is over. ????

Friday was my 33rd birthday and I had an awesome day. I didn’t want to have a huge night out or wake up feeling groggy, true sign of getting older I guess. I’m feeling really happy and excited about where I am in my life. Being in a good place gives you reason to welcome being a year older with open arms. On Friday I had margaritas and snacks on the Valdez patio with a bunch of my BFFs. They have a range of cool seating which is a popular choice for wooden garden furniture, so it made it a great place to sit and chat away for hours. The BBQ there is open till 3pm and the food is AWESOME. Huge thanks to Cameron (Untitled&Co) for snapping pix of us girls. We had a blast! So many laughs. Have a ton of photos on my phone too. The sunshine on Valdez patio is perfect 2pm+ for afternoon drinks and tanning. Love these girls so much, L-R Lauren, Maria, Carla. Lauren + Chloe (the other half of Untitled&Co!)   Perfect SUN! Later in the evening Sean picked up an amazing Mexican dinner and we ate it at Cherry Beach watching the sunset. It was perfect. Thanks all for the birthday wishes. I’m excited for all the things the next year will bring!

Omg guys, tomorrow is my birthday! I’m taking vacation from work and spending the day with my sister and friends.  I’ve not planned anything special. Last weekend I went to the spa, I’ve got a hair appt tonight. I want to watch a movie w/ Sean tonight, get a good sleep, and wake up refreshed. I really HAVE gotten older, eh? Planning to visit my mama on Sunday to celebrate us both. After all, I WAS born on Mother’s Day way way back! This is a GIF I made for my birthday last year, 2013. 2012 was a fun time. Sean Hawaii had a huge party and I jacked it to be my very own! 21! Want to say thanks for tuning in and bring part of my life. FML!! WTF? Urghh 🙁 In other news, it seems Jessica Simpson named a shoe after ME! The CASIE! Seriously though right here. Casie, it must be ME, right? Thanks Jessica. I’ve had a couple pairs of her shoes and they’re quite confortable. Nude wedges are essential for perfect summer wardrobe so I could deff see myself wearing these. I’m sure she’ll send them our RIIIIIIGHT after she has that baby. She’s giving birth in this leopard kaftan. Gorgeous.
