The Art of Soup
I can’t even begin to explain how special I felt when I opened this extremely heavy package today.It came from a friend south of the border. Thank you Ellen for sending these. I love you. As soon as I knew these cans were being made, I reached out to my best friends in Boston as asked them to keep an eye out at Target. Today, four of the Andy Warhol Tomato Soup cans arrived. The cans celebrate 50 years since Andy’s iconic work, 32 Campbell’s Soup Cans. Andy famously said “I used to have the same [Campbell’s soup] lunch every day for twenty years.” I love their branding. Something special they did is print all the labels directing you to the website artofsoup.com which redirects to their Facebook page Campbell’s Condensed Soup, 158,746 likes, 3,527 talking about this. Right now. I love when brands do that. Andy Warhol has always been my favourite. An inspiration. I have blogged about him heaps. He has his own category. I also named my iPad after him. Campbell’s Tomato soup with toast has been my fav lunch since I was a kid. Before I knew him. My blog is about to get a makeover 😉 <3 CASIE

This video inspired me today. Burberry is the most innovative fashion brands (according to Mashable). I feel they are one of the most innovative brands in the world. I want to visit the ‘store of the future’ in London. I’m blown away. I have such a heart on for innovation My goal is to stay ahead of the influencers and be known as an innovator. CIBC Run for the Cure 2012! Team 5318008! We did it!
Yesterday my team 5318008 did the CIBC Run for the Cure. It was so much fun and the weather was FABULOUS! Thank you to everyone who donated. As a team we raised $1,840 and in dividually I raised $160 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Association. I would 100% do it again. The whole 5K was full of laughs, stories, and fun. And a bird pooped on Lauren’s head! I WAS RUNNIN’! Cheers to my whole team for doing the run. It was nice to use our superpowers for for good. Photo credit to Frikshun & Lauren. View PostThe Sweetest Thing: New Jeans, New Jacket, Jean Machine
The week before I started at Community I was CRAZY busy with TIFF events. One of the things that makes TIFF so busy is the insane amount of parties and outfit changes in between gift lounges & films. NO really, it’s actually stressful! My friend Val works with Jean Machine and they invited me to the Eaton Centre store to ….PICK OUT AN OUTFIT! I worked in the mall heaps during highschool and knew Jean Machine well. My first job was at GAP in Fairview Park Mall. I used to wear a LOT of jeans back then and Jean Machine was my destination. I remember almost crying to Dad once I needed new jeans and in the car we went to Jean Machine. I wish like crazy I still has those super soft Silver’s from grade ten, I lived in those things. It’s been ages since I walked into a Jean Machine store and was happy to be re-introduced. They had Yoga Jeans, Mavi is still there, and some new brands. I tried on about 10 pairs with a stylist over the course of an hour. Decided on a pair of flare (yes, and so long) jeans by Guido & Mary. Low rise, slim fit, and BEST a$$ pants. No seriously. To complete my outfit I got a fitted blazer from the Jean Machine brand YDE. Wore the blazer at first day at work and jeans when I spoke last week at a conference week. Pop in and visit a Jean Machine store. You’ll be surprised by their updated coolness! Twitter is @JeanMachine 😉 Thank Val for inviting me. Her and I laughed our heads off and tried on clothes. The Social Network: New MySpace Design
This looks cool. I loved MySpace. I really was my first Social Network. I lived in the New York when it came out and wasn’t able to work so I watched a million movies and taught myself HTML. The new Myspace from Myspace on Vimeo. It’s exciting to the the Internet buzzing about the new design. At CES this year MySpace announced the launch of a MySpace TV partnership with Panasonic. Justin Timberlake is co-owner with Specific Media Group and it appears he’s innovating the social media space. I’m into it. Thoughts? CASIE

Last weekend Canadian Club treated Mum, Jenie and to the Sheepdogs concert. These are some of official event photos. The T-List crew was in full force and we joined the band at Cadillac lounge for drinks after the show. Super nice guys. Thank you Praxis for a great time. I shot this photo as I got out of the car today and walked into the office. My new office. Yes, me! After two years of working independently as an influencer, spokesperson, and consultant, I’m entering the agency world of 9-5. My new role is Director of Social Media at Community, a Pulp&Fiber company. I am STOKED. Super excited to join a growing company with cool clients and rad people that’s located right in the heart of my beloved Queen West hood. I’ve been writing ‘THIS IS MY LIFE” blog for almost eight years as a way to document and remember my adventures. I’m not gonna stop. My life is about to get a whole lot awesomer and I am excited to share it with you.
