This is my life now. I wake up and roll over to greet my love, Andy. I reckon it’s only a matter of time before I switch teams, no not like that, I mean to a mac and and iphone. I feel it’s the natural progression of my technology life. One day I’ll say “PC, i’m just not that into you, anymore”. It’s brrrrr outside today and I don’t mind a bit. The sun is shining SO bright in my condo I have to put the blinds down just to see the monitors and tv. (First world problems!) Couple reasons I don’t really care if it gets cold are LA, Dallas, SF, and San Juan. I know, it’s sad when you read it if you are not going away but you know what? I have worked my booty off since I started college in 2001 and never have I ever had this much travel planned and I’ve also never been to most the places I’m going. I am beyond excited. AAAAAAAAAAAH! Luckily, while I’m home I’ll be keeping warm cause Matchstick sent me a couple pairs of Cougar Boots last month. It’s not really been cold enough to take ’em for a walk yet but I reckon the Santa parade this weekend is the perfect event to bust out these babies. The second pair I got were red & rubber and I gave them to fellow blonde blogging babe Keri! Check her post out. Blondetourage blogtourage! If anyone finds a pair of these old school Cougar Boots in a size 5.5 or 6 please pick them up for me. You know my love of vintage and I’d totes like to rock the old schoolies. i need some time for myself sometimes and sometimes i need some time with you

Woke up and went for a dip in the hot tub. It was so sunny and bright, a great way to start the day. Newest Moovboots. My fav ones for sure. Siberian Huskies. Warm and cozy. Read some news on Mashable. Love iPad Andy so much. We watch movies in bed, sleep together. Great view from the sunroom. When I wanna relax/space out I listen to this song. I find it most enjoyable on the TTC. I zone out and feel I am floating like a feather, daydreaming about peoples thoughts and where they are going, where they came from. Where I am going? What am I doing? Putting together a relaxing playlist on itunes, I need one. I’m going to Ostara Spa on King Street for a long relaxing massage. I am stoked . It’s been ages since I’ve had a great massage and I’ve been working my ass off lately. It’s my first time going there too. Next week is busy busy. Doing a talk about Social Media & Personal Branding at The National Ballet of Canada on Monday, Tuesday I am doing Rogers Daytime TV, Thursday is the Movember Gala and I’m a judge. I can’t wait. The week after that I am in LA, SF and Dallas and I finally get to meet Richard Branson. THIS IS MY LIFE. I have to keep telling myself. I love it and I love sharing it here with you. i’m looking for a dare to be great situation

Phone rung early and it was Mum calling from the boat in Virgina. They sailed down from NY and are stationed there for a few days. So wonderful to talk to her. I MISS YOU MUM. Woke up beside Andy, we fell asleep watching a movie on Netflix. Life is awesome. Pretty stoked for today, not exactly for any reason but I’ve got high hopes to make the most of the day. Watching Say Anything for the first time while I work. Have heaps of people to follow up with today. I am my own admin assistant. Been chatting with an agency in NYC about that Smirnoff commerical I am in. They’re processing my payment. I wanna do more commercials. I am really good at acting. hi, how are you today?

Fine. Sitting on the couch drinking water and eating Marmite on bread. Had a great night out with my sister last night. I’m closer to her than ever and it’s crazy how well we know each other. We are afterall sisters, but really good friends too which is awesome. I really appreciate her and that she lives in the city . We don’t see Dad that much cause he’s in Cambridge and Mum is sailing on her boat on the East Coast of the USA. LOVE YOU GUYS! Lots of stuff this week. Monday night is TweetgasmTO at the Gladstone. Tuesday night I have something I forgot to put in my calendar and I hate when I do that. Hopefully writing this now and reading it later will remind me what the heck it is. Thursday is Sabrina’s birthday. There’s always stuff hapenin’ on Thursday. Friday I will be at Dundas Square all day for an event follow me at @armyourself_gsk for deets on that. Friday night is the People Downtown Halloween party. Saturday, I reckon I will need sleep/home alone time. Sunday is Halloween yahooooooooo. I will be at Parts & Labor for a private show with Broken Social Scene that is hosted by Virgin America and the Torontoist. I really hope Emily & Feist are there. That would be great, I have a crush on them both. Next week I’ve got a spa thing at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and a lesson in DJing. Imagine I was a DJ? Imagining……….. In New Zealand I met this babe blogger from the UK named Gala Gonsales who DJ’s. I think that’s hot. This is gonna be a good week and busy week. It’s almost November already. So crazy. I met Bre through Twitter and IRL at the Movember party. We’ve become friends now so she probably doesn’t think she’ll be the winner BUT SHE IS! Not only did she comment & tweet with the hashtag, but she posted a twitpic and started a conversation with me about them more than once. She’s probably gonna freak when she reads this. Congrats Bre, I’ll chat you about delivery etc. The other winner is CANADA! We fucking killed it last night. I’m so proud to be Canadian. My sisters puppy Tikka is proud to. how to having a mo-fucking-tastic time

…just go to the Movember Gala. So many photos from the night. Michelle has more on her camera that I will post later. I met a bunch of great people and had lots of fun being a judge. My category was best Mo Bro and Mo Sista so I got to mingle and look for a hot looking boy & girl that came with each other. Swim suits won for sure, they were awesome. Michelle and I were the babes that put the winning sashes on the winners. We stood on stage the whole time, it reminded me of my old beauty pageant days. Sigh. I’m modelling in a show for Puma at the flagship store in Yorkville tonight then it’s home to bed. [yes, i get to keep the clothes! woot] I’m getting up early tomorrow to hit the AA rummage sale. Luckily, I have VIP line by-pass. [haha suckers!!] The lineup today is like 500 blocks so you gots to get there early. This is my favorite photo from last night, just try not to smile. Woke up to a beautiful sunshine this morning. It doesn’t matter what happens in the day if I wake up and see a beautiful sunrise, I’m happy. It’s just so pretty. Remember when I posted about Movember? How are your faces growing? Good? Nasty? I hope you’ve got those babies groomed cause this Mo Sista is a JUDGE at the Toronto Movember Gala at the Kool Haus. Starts at 8pm, be there and find me if you want to win a prizey-prize. One of my Tweeps Gregory Alan Elliott told me he left a poem for me somewhere downtown and if I found it I win a prize. Is this it? Did i find it? Ooooh me loves prizes! I’ve written lots of poems. Did you know that when I was 16 I wrote and published an Anthology of Poetry and prose called JEANS [sorry it’s not online anywhere yet, I was still a book/pen/pencil girl]. A friend and I started a publishing company and then won young entrepreneur of my city. Fancy that! This is one of my most favorites, I wrote it at 7am walking along Bondi Beach in 2004. WHAT IS M O V E M B E R ?

“Movember (the month formerly known as November) is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men’s health.” The Movember Foundation was started in Australia in 2004. It is a not for profit, charitable organization that implements a month long event called Movember each year in the month of November. Movember’s goal is to raise awareness around men’s health issues and raises funds charities chosen by each country involved, focussing primarily on prostate cancer. Before the Movember movement, prostate cancer was pretty unknown and not talked about. Now, due to the raised awareness, it is hoped that men know the signs and when to access help. Symptoms don’t usually present themselves until the cancer has grown big enough to put pressure on the urethra, which then causes issues with needing to urinate more frquently and having issues when urinating. If you suspect you may have prostate cancer, it is highly advised that you visit a urologist like Advanced Urology who will handle your situation with care and compassion, and talk you through diagnosis and treatment methods. However, these symptoms don’t automatically mean prostate cancer, although it is advised that you visit a urologist anyway to find the cause (which usually involves prostate enlargement). Movember unites men and encourages discussions on any prostate related topic. Even discussing remedies such as prostagenix is encouraged. Additionally, by raising awareness about prostate health, it is hoped that more men will be encouraged to get in touch with a doctor if they notice any issues so that any ailments can be addressed and treated. For example, although an enlarged prostate can be a sign of cancer, sometimes this enlargement can be benign. Above all, it can sometimes be reassuring to learn that the risk of prostate cancer…
