Toronto Fashion Week – Buckler, Boys, Babes

Attended five events last Thursday night – two fashion shows in the tents, Movember media launch, Buckler at F-Stop and GSUS at the Hoxton. It was a workout. Lucky for us they were all close together. Living downtown is essential to making the most appearances in a short time. This is Sport Partying 🙂 Check this out – found three of a kind! We were certain a model farted. Pointing & laughing made the situation a WHOLE lot better. Kate snapped all these photos. She’s a darling. Me, always working. Yes, those are my real lashes 😉 Fritz (Fritz Helder) had the most rad Docs. Not avail at the Doc Martens store. He found them somewhere downtown but I will not reveal his secret! I’m happy to my acceptance as a Delegate for  TedXToronto on September 23! I attended last  year and it was quite riveting. For details on how you can take part in the conference go here. There’s a few speakers this year I know personally so I’m really looking forward to being there. Not sure who the hosts are. These are two of my favourite videos from the speaker vids created by my friends at The Biz Media. First up is Movember co-founder Adam Garone and second Rob Spence. Reckon you’ll find them quite moving 🙂 Dropped off a bday present for Emma at Sammy’s work today and have had this song stuck in my head. It’s real pretty. Give a listen, you will like it too. Tonight is the Diet Coke TIFF party. Two more nights of TIFF before it’s over! Gah. Mega tiring. Gonna take a city break and go visit Mum this weekend.

This was a very exciting time of year for me. In the past three months I’ve been in San Fran, LA, Boston, Dallas, and Puerto Rico. Last year my New Years relolution was to reavel more and I deff made that a reality. These are some of my fav things from the last three months of 2010: I was a spokesperson and got my first national gig and hosted an event in Young/Dundas Square. my friends were in contests wore a cute outfit hung out with friends another smirnoff party had my photo taken zombie nation smirnoff india party movember mum sailed to the bahamas from near toronto some of my fav things played with toys went to hohoTO was at the beach gave away LOTS of gifts made fashion toast went to Dallas w/ Virgin America, was on Boing Boing met a REAL cowboy met RICHARD BRANSON. bbbbbbbbb-badass

Last night was a blast. I can’t believe how many good looking MO bro’s we have in our city. Ok let’s do this. Happy Friday and here are some fun photos 🙂 This one’s an Aussie import, Movember CEO Adam Garone. Total Babe. Ladies & gentlemen, meet your judges: Keri & I were judging Best Mo in Character. Did you know that Canada raises the most Movember money? WE ARE THE BEST. Check out Sabrina (who by the way is on Twitter now as @itsbrownbarbie) These are a couple of my fav costumes The bushwackers had a bunch of fans AND came with a slew of other recognizable WWF old timers. You would have loved it Dad. Classic – always a pair of these kids. I bet this guy knows how to have a good time. Ringmaster said these were his slaves. Ron, Burgundy? Goose. Asian one at that!! Harry & Lloyd, also a classic. Did they even have Mo’s in the movie? Fun fact: My Dad’s name is Lloyd Give me your jackets. Then it was stage time and things got a weeee crazier…yes, that’s a bare bum Borat. Adam was like “Dude, get off stage, that’s gross”. Haha. She was a bull. Love that idea. december beach body countdown has started.

There will be abs. I know I’m small but I am not really that fit. I wanna go away on my vacations next month and feel good. I wanna look at photos and think ‘you look great’ not, ‘detele that one, you look gross’. It happens all the time. Don’t judge me. Ok, think what you want. I tried on my skinny jeans (which by the way are a very unhealthy size) and said if I fit these I have a body image disorder. They don’t fit. When I lived in Australia I came home so skinny, remember Nicole Richie running on the beach, yeah that was me. So gross. I’m getting in shape this time. Ate healthy yesterday and have has breakfast two days in a row. It takes dedication and a bunch of little steps to get results here! I started this blog to keep more memories it used to say “people. places. things. thoughts: in attempt to keep more memories“. If I write things down I’m more likley to make it a reality so that’s what I do. On that note, heading for a brisk walk to Yonge & Dundas Square to catch some pix of the Santa Parade (largest in the world) and ride a mustache (not a real one a skateboard one for Movember!). After that I’ve got a 90 min massage at Ostara Spa. Looking quite forward to everything today! I’m ready for the holidays. Gimme a candy cane.
