These are my fav apps I’ve downloaded to my Motorola Milestone android phone mini-computer from Telus. Figured it was about time I shared them with you. By far the coolest thing I’ve ever seenon anyone’s phone – Google Sky Map. With Google Sky Map for Android you have the magic to discover, view and search the sky by pointing your phone to outerspace. It’s keeps me up at night, stargazing. I searched The Southen Cross, a star constallation I have tattooed on my back, my very first tattoo. You can see it in the southern Hemisphere near New Zealand & Australia. Last night, I found it from my bed. Makes the world seem small, and me there looking at it, bigger than life. I don’t really play games that much but two that I’ve kept are Labyrinth and Jewels . They both kinda make you smarter which makes me happy, win-win. I like Foursquare too, obviously. I use Compas & Metal Detector for fun sometimes. I have the Gaga’s Monster app and Lady Gaga ringtones too. My phone rings bad romance, love love love. Some others I use for blogging are: WordPress for Android – great for bobile blogging, not that many options but good enough Fx Camera – Photo settings like Toy Cameras, Polandroid, Fisheye, Symetrical, Warhol Camera Illusion – heaps of different setting I don’t really get but on turns yout photo into a drawing. Love that. Not sure if i’ve told you a zillion times or not, but I realy love this phone, its’ the best I’ve ever had. Police light is pretty badass, check this out…

View PostPosted this using WP Mobile app from the Android shop on my Motorola Milestone from Telus. Pretty happy with it. I can’t choose justification or edit the photos but overall, pretty good. Chrome wont let me make these images bigger. There’s no formatting on mobile and images default to the top of the post. I’m gonna try mobile posting a bit more this week. I post via mobile to Tumblr, Posterous, Youtube, 12Seconds.tv, Facebook and obviously Twitter. Why not wordpress too? I also downloaded Google Chrome today and think my blog be lookin’ sexy in it. Enjoy my little story. There was a girl who loved to take photos, of herself mostly. She would take photos all day posting them freely about the internet. She could do this ALL DAY as it didn’t matter WHAT was happening NOTHING made her happier than sharing. One fine day, she was in the park and had made several attempts to get a certain shot on her little camera. A boy who looked like a hipster came over to her smiled and offered to help. She thought his ‘skiddy’ look was kinda cute so when he asked to take her picture, she smiled, handed over the camera and said ‘ok sure’. She turned around to move back a few steps and the fucker ran away with her CAMERA! He WASN’T a hipster, or a hippy, he was HOMELESS. She cried all the way home wondering how the hell she was gonna post photos all day now! Good thing she had a sweet phone. The End.

I checked out your blog and am very surprised at how you live your life so publicly. I am very excited about social media and am definitely a regular engager, but as a woman (this is going to sound weird) I get very discouraged from being more “open” to the public eye because of privacy issues ie. stalkers, perves, etc. How do YOU DO IT? How do you deal with people like that? Is this simply of your attitude towards things like this? You ignore them? This might seem like an odd e-mail, but I’ve been waiting to talk to a female who is deeply immersed in social media about issues of privacy and so forth…any input/thoughts/advice that you have, I’d be more than glad to listen!” I looked up Sydney and she writes a blog called Cyberpop, tracking trends of digital pop culture. Cool stuff there. I’m gonna reply to her student this evening. I never took any classes on social media, I was there when it all started. I spent so many (and still do) late nights diving in head first and surfing through the world wild web; I kinda traded my surf board for a keyboard. View PostCount it down with me…goodbye 2009, HELLO FUTURE! I had great meal to finish up the year followed buy a house party with a bunch of people I love. There’s no better way to spend New Years Eve than with people you love and admire. Keri and had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with blog LEGEND Tony Pierce. I’ve got a whole post of great stuff just from brunch. I learned heaps from him about blogging and the internet. [THANKS TONY!] Guys’s got mad stories about when he started his blog amost 10 years ago, getting free trips, almost free girls (haha) and even a CAR! I’m really really excited for 2010. I feel like it’s the future and i’m ready for it. This time last year I was in a job I hated with big dream about blogging and where I wanted to be. Now, I am doing social media at MuchMusic MTV and i’m living the life I always dreamed of. It’s a new year, set your goals higher than before, reach for the moon. You are a star if you believe it and there are no limits to what you can achive. I’m ready to conqued the world internet! I hope your first day of 2010 was wonderful and everyday there after. Now we’re going to see Avatar 🙂

View PostI have always had this thing about threes. I make a conscious effort not to do things in threes, I stick to two and four when I notice. I used to be much worse but I’ve gotten over it a bit now. Earlier this year I got a tattoo I wanted for years. In order to change my negative thoughts about 3 or 13, I booked my much wanted tattoo on Friday the 13th. Now, I have a positive outlook every time one of those lucky days rolls around. This is me laughing at a Tweet re: a new word I learned – Twoosh. It’s when your Tweet is exactly the max allowed 140 characters. Twooshbag is when you do it alot-lot. Twitter is really fun. If you like fun, you should join and follow me so we can laugh together. Twilight New Moon cast members are at Much today for MOD. They’re got barriers set up and the crowd is gonna be huge. I’ve never seen the movie/read the books but the fact that people go ape shit over it is pretty exciting. There’s people lined up and it’s not even 10am. I love working here. Happy Friday the 13th. View PostI woke up in a great mood. It’s good day I can feel it. Had a nice brekky at Roastery with Jeff, they have the best music. Soon as I got to the office I re-played I love the Nightlife on my Blip Station for my Twitter peeps to enjoy. It was perfect the perfect tune to dive into work with enthusiasm.
