Saw my boyfriend yesterday. Was out and about around downtown and ran into him on the street. Love when he calls me ‘doll’. I love this cover by these two. They’ve got such a great sound. Got some serious hookups from Reebok Canada yesterday and took my new Easy Tone kicks for a stroll. Pretty comfy & nice. Interviewed a fitness model & trainer and that will be up soon on “interview w/ casie“. Found this one the ground. Hung it on a tree for everyone to see. Was behind this dude at Sobeys. He had a window washing gear so I reckon he’s squeegie kid. Funny enough, he has no clue now to spell ‘anal sextherapy’. GIFTING DAY 5: you thirsty?

Earlier this year I went to New Zealand for New Zealand Fashion Week. It was an amazingly awesome trip. Words can not explain all the fun things I did, the photos and blog posts will give you an idea but you need to ask me in person to really know. Thank you to Patty Huntington, Anna Jobz, the whole NZFW team, designers, sponsors and people I met for making it so freaking awesome-never-forget-fun. Today I share with you a story and a something from my little wee wine library. My most anticipated show for NZFW was Stolen Girlfriends Club. It was the show I knew I’d like. This pic is me after the show w/ Venus who was my totally awesome Minder for the week. The fashion show ended with a cannon of confetti and roses. A cute boy caught a rose and gave it to me, there was glitter in my hair. I sat front row and centre and we were all in an old theatre. Someone pointed out that the girl on the poster for the show looked kinda like me. Pretty neat. This was the final outfit. The models all lined up then the ‘couple’ came out last. That’s when the cannon went off. I love the clothes they make, the jewellry and how they put on a show. So hot. You know who else was there that night? And who had been tweeting away becoming friends before I even arrived on the scene? Kim Crawford Wines. (Found out the other day K.C Wine is Mum’s fav from NZ!). i took a bite of fashion toast.

On Twitter yesterday I saw famed LA fashion blogger Rumi Neely posted a NZFW photo diary. What did I find? A pic of me, Rumi and Gala Gonzalez from the Nom D party at NZFW. That night was so fun, we climbed on the car and were posing for photographers. If you don’t know Rumi or Gala, you must be living under a fashion rock. I have a crush on Gala, she’s from the UK and just lovely. Her blog is inside am-lul’s closet and Rumi’s blog is fashion toast. Hopefully I get back to NZ again next year for FW. I’d love to get to a few other countries too! I got a glimpse of ‘the life’… I had a driver, an assistant, and was ushered to front row for every show and always posing for photos. Lets hope for more of that in my future!

i’m available

It’s true. No, I’m not looking for dates but I am looking to get together to talk with cool smart people who like to work with other cool smart people. I’m finishing up a contract this week and available as a consultant. I like to create fun campaigns that engage people online and connect them with cool brands. canada goose 2010 preview: i wanna get goosed

Last night Keri and I went to the Canada Goose 2010 preview. I’ve never owned any Goose gear. Saw heaps of peeps, checked out lots of merch and it was nice to get to know the brand a little better. How cute is this jacket? And this hat? We look good together, don’t we? Jacket is from the kids line. Loves the brightness and it felt really snug & warm. I’d love to be wearing it when I’m going around to Virgin events and doing all kinds of cool stuff this winter. hint hint 😉 Winter is coming guys. Let shope it’s not too damn cold this year aiiight. I’m ready for hibernation station when it hits. Actually, I don’t mind winter that much. It doesn’t get nearly as cold now as it did when we were kids. Remember how much show we used to get? Like CRAZY amounts. Canada Goose has these Goose People who brave the elements and do amazing things. I got a prety neat book about them all. I reckon I can do some pretty amazing things too? Maybe I should climb a massive mountain in my spare time. I really like way the companies/agencies are starting to get creative with event activities and take aways. Yesterday was great. So many great people around this event. HI EVERYONE new I’ve met. Check out my new bestie above Krista who won ANTM. She is hilar. Would be nice if I was smiling! The Weston Auckland Lighter Quay for the Beautiful room on the Auckland Harbour – City of Sails baby. The City of Auckland for WIFI everythere. Derek Fabulous because he is my new BFF. This song by Lily Allen I just saw on NZ Juice TV. Meeting up with my Kiwi friend I’ve not seen in like 10 years MC Bling! Peach out till later. Good morning. Had a FREAKOUT this morning. No not because of my adventure but because my blog was hacked. Don’t do that. Seriously. Who the fuck hacks a sunshine-rainbow-fantasty-glitter blog like mine? Looooooooosers. Panic at my disco when I got the notification. Seriously. First thought, shit, I leave for NZFW today what the hell imma do? Please don’t hack things, it’s not nice. Bad actions/vibes you put into the universe have a magnetic particles and like attracts like and they will all come back to you. Be careful. Heaps of clothes. Thanks to Canadian designers Paris Li, Andy Hall and Nella Bella for outfitting me with style. Thanks to Telus for my phone + keeping me connected. Thanks Betty Kiss for the massive suitcase & reversible clutches. I packed shoes galore, Doc’s, cowboys, wellies and five other pairs. It’s fashion week followed by chill time with the fams, totes necesary. My two suit cases aren’t stuffed though, need to leave room to bring home lotsa goodies & prezzies. Taking some Tim’s coffee for a cute little blogger named Hannah in NZ. Carry on bag is from Nella Bella, the red reno suede. It’s lovely! I always bring my sketchbook on the plane. I get inspired watching people, looking at the flight path, reading listening to music, flying in general really. Crispers S&V are my fav snack (just saw on sale at Shoppers for $0.99, go stock up on my christmas present!). I can plow through a bag of them easy. SO crunchy. New Wired mag arrived yesterday just in time. Might actually read it sice I’m travelling.
