2013 Chevy Camaro Convertable in California

We had so much fun cruising around in the 2013 Chevy Camaro Convertable in California. We randomly decided to get a rental once we got to the hotel and I’m so GLAD they had this. It was $25 more per day than a compact car  from Hertz and so totally worth it! You deff need a car in LA. I can’t imagine being on vacation or living there without a car. I loved hitting the open road and driving to the beach, top down of course. I loved Venice Beach the most. It reminded me so much of where I lived in Bondi Beach in Australia. Did you know that the real Abbot Kinney was a tobacco millionaire who founded it in 1905? Oh the things you learn on Wikipedia.

Weekend photo diary… on Saturday I was grumpy. Love this new lip paint from essence, it’s SO GOOD. Just it in in NY last week. It’s from the new fall collection. We finally made that airplane Porter gave me. Flew it around a bit. Had a nice family walk. Love this little robot on Queen Street. New fav bar in the hood is called Roux. West on Dudas near Keele. Saw this cute little bunny on the rail path. He wasn’t even scared! Hope you had a great weekend. Here’s to making today a good one! Happy Monday 🙂 <3 CASIE

Ted Baker London – NYC 5th Avenue Grand House

Started the day in style with Starbucks, sunshine and a smile. This is the lovely Patricia ⬆ and ⬇ that’s not how you spell my name but I didn’t care one bit, I was in NY and it was Friday. ❤ This was en route to the essence NY head office, (Justin Bieber’s concert sponsor). NY cabs are cheaper than Toronto, feels like you drive for ages before you hit $20. Cool 3d art installation painting downstairs. Great view from upstairs. Our next stop was the Ted Baker London 5th Avenue Grand House. It is gorgeous. Still looks like an old house in many ways, even how the clothes are hung and accessories displayed.  Right away I said, “WHEN CAN I MOVE IN?” I loved it. I adore the new prints from Ted. I got a this great new bag, pants, a few scarves, and much needed grown lady wallet. I absolutely love travelling. It’s less than three weeks before I head to California for six days with bloggers and best friends. I can’t wait!  Working on a post this week for the NY Ted Baker blog about my fav Toronto spots. Any suggestions? LMK! See other posts w/ Ted and me here. I’m going to make this week really, really great. We’re closer to Friday than normal and we are closer to the end of summer I care to admit. Heading to Manhattan and Staying in a Dream

Bag packed and heading to Porter after work. Catching a 7:30pm to Newark, NJ w/ my press escort aka Patricia. My trip is with essence cosmetics, the UK’s #1 brand who also happens to be the title sponsor of JB’s tour. We arrive in NY just in time to head out on the town for Thursday night drinks. I was last in NY in January and about a year before that so pretty stoked to be back in the Big Apple! We’re staying at Dream NYC in Manhattan and apparently all of JB’s peeps too. Tomorrow I plan to sleep in then hit up the NY Ted Baker store to get a new outfit for Friday night. Hardly packed anything! Counting down till 5:30pm when I head to airport. Too bad I didn’t stop by Cabana Pool Bar yesterday to see my boy JB and tell him about this great contest with his tour sponsor essence cosmetics! Thanks to everyone who entered the contest. On Twitter alone there were 125,923 estimated impressions from 62 Twitter mentions. Whoa mama! I drew a random name this morning and the winner has been contacted. If you are wondering why I didn’t announce them publicly it’s because I learned from my work at MuchMusic that the Beliebers can get mighty angry about winning/losing a chance to see their idol and I want to protect them from any chance of bullying. (BTW shame on yourselves if that’s you!) You’ll know who it is on Thursday when they are Tweeting from the concert! I can’t wait to see him in NYC. It’ll be great to get away for a few days and *hopefully* I’ll get that meet and greet the essence team mentioned! I will actually be my the third time I’ve seen him. I was the Social Media Manager of the MMVAs when he was there in 2010. NBD.  This is the dress I had made by Peach Berserk with his face on it along with other nominees.  Ahhh, memories… I’ll see if I can give away any more tickets from the tour. No promises!
