waiting for wednesday

Things have been REALLY busy this week. I kinda feel like whoa, how was I doing all this stuff before? No wonder I was tired.  Today I’ve been working out of the Fairlie Agency office with Carly following up on emails, auditions and work. Tomorrow I’ll be working from my home office and possibly the roof top pool. I’d really love to be able to work from home forever. The freedom to do exactly what I want is really inspiring to me.  Really inspiring. This is Carly & I with Shawn (from Ontario Place (middle) and Guy Boucher (right), the designer of Zeugari Swimwear. He’s outfitting Carly, Raymi, Lauren and I for Wakestock next weekend. I am so excited to wear his suits. They are GORGEOUS! If you wanna come to Wakestock the $55 social ticket offer for the weekend ends THURSDAY at 10AM. Get ya ticket here. Password is PARTYGIRL.

it’s more about the us than the meme

Mum is coming today and I’m really excited to see her. I’m really excited for Lady Gaga tonight too. Currently watching the Hooters Bikini pageant, it’s hot/awesome. Have you ever seen the Hooters  outfit on me? It was 2005, I looked different, heavier. I never worked there, but I was close once, in my younger days.  I won a pageant and bikini contest back then too. Ha. Thanks for the votes in the Virgin contest. I’m in the lead, lets keep it that way. I think the other six are under the impression it’s a job.(Yes, only six entries!) It’s just like winning an online pageant, you get to carry the title of Toronto Provocateur for the year and you have perks/duties. You get to be the party planner and 12 free trips, I have room for that in my life.  I do. I would LOVE some free trips… I dream about all the people I could visit, conferences I can attend and things to explore. I’d also REALLY like to be able to leverage the stellar community we’ve got for GenyTO and do some really great/cool/fun things. I’m darn sure that’s a win-win for everyone. We’re having GenyTO on July 27th. You saw how fun the game was I went to recently. Did you know that out of the whole group, I had only ever met two of those people in real life? And one is Jon fron the TFC. Tickets are $40, the  special code to purchase is ‘genyto‘ and you can get tickets here.  All the other important info is right here. I would love to see you there! Rah-rah-ah-ah-ah! Roma-Roma-ma-ah! Ga-ga-ooh-la-la! Want your RAD romance ♥

TGIF: this is shit i like

Here’s my Friday roundup of good shit I’ve found around the interwebs. I’ve had a busy ass week of long days and late nights…that’s the price you pay for doing what you love! I try not to get down on myself for not getting everything done right away. I’m kinda anal about sticking to my own rigorous schedule.  I have to remind myself “there’s only 24 hours in a day Casie and you need sleep to keep going”.  Talking to myself really helps too.  haha joking. not joking. Twitter: Need I say more? No. Google: Featuring a YouTube video I found the other day. The put a very unique Coke machine in a College. I like this kinda thing, makes ya feel good in the inside. Where will happiness strike next? Here, right here. Internet: News about Conan went wild in online this week. Then, he put his show on Craigslist. Clicking the image will take you to the original posting. Facebook: I posted on twitter looking for anyone with a Haiti connection that wanted to be on MuchOnDemand. I was connected to Didier Dorelien, a Haitian residing in Toronto now via Lava. I arranged for him to be on the show. Here is the video: I was really touched watching this video on Facebook. I found out last night that his parents have been located but there are still so many people missing. . He’s coming back next week to talk about Haiti with the governor general. I’ll continue to help out where I can. Hope you all had a great day 🙂

reality tv, internet celebrity, blah blah balls balls

I used to watch The O.C., seems like ages ago when THAT was on. I loved that show. Marissa. Cooper. I got into Laguna Beach next it wasn’t as good but it was. It was realer but then also turned out to be fake-real. I know a bit of the gossip from the internet but I’ve not been watching those kids that much. I did tonight though…I watched The Hills. Knowing what’s happening on the show will only help my job. Here we go… Brody’s Mom, plastic surgery much? I like Jayde, she’s nice, hot and Canadian. Kristin not so much. She did get skinnier from when I used to watch though. When Audrina talks all I hear is ‘wah wah’. She’s kinda like a Jennifer Aniston in the getting-publicly-dumped, ‘i’m annoying’ way. Look me with longish hair! Throwback 2006 to the Moxie Princess Party. There was tons of us, all in crinoline’s, glitter and  crowns. Heidi and Spencer are definitely unique, the thought of them having kids gives the tabloids panty soup I’m sure.  His appointment at the vasectomy doctor painful but Heidi saying “Hi honey, I snipped by balls off” was almost worth watching the show alone. It’s more drama in 30 minutes than an hour of the Young and the Restless, that’s for sure. It was nominated a Peoples Choice Award, ‘Favorite TV Obsession. I’ll be watching it from now on. Don’t worry. I’ll keep the updates to a minumum 🙂

H1N1 ~ HINI = hiney = haha :P ( flu+who)

I’m going to the TFC game today with a friend. Excited and dressed the part. My friend has a TFC scarf for me so I can really be ‘in’ it. I’ve been once before but this is birthday related which makes it better. This picture wants to be on it’s head. I’m not fighting it. I think that H1N1 is a better name for the flu but it also looks like ‘hini’ which sounds like ‘hiney’ which rhymes with swiney which is funny. And the flu was named by the WHO. Make the connection. I did. Stephen Harper called it the Mexican Flu the other day. I LMFAO. Had breakfast at School in Liberty Village. They’re kinda slow and the patio wasn’t open. I like the way it looks there. Very schooley. I was at the CONTACT opening last night. Will
