Karlie Kloss X Warby Parker | OMG SHE KNOWS ME!

Tweeted Warby Parker about the new Karlie Kloss collabo and look what they did! I;m a big fan of the brand and am pulling out my credit card as soon as I finish typing to buy a pair of these. OMG. Events | The Most Pride in the World

Have you seen these yet? They’re beautiful! This weekend I had Saturday morning coffee with Andrew Dobson. He’s the blogger babe behind dobbernation.com and regular writer for Metro News Canada. We checked out the rainbow crosswalks in The Village and gabbed about adventure. It’s so lovely to chat one on one with a friend in the sun. I almost got a ticket from this hot cop but told him I was getting a photo and jumped in the car with a smile. Toronto Pride is extra special this year because it’s World Pride and we’re hosting! I’ve been going to Pride since Dad took Jenie and I when we were kids. Have some really great moments and blogged about them around this time last year.  From now to the end of the month is crazy time w/MMVA, NXNE , Pop Up Perrier, 2 speaking gigs AND Pride. I’ll have heaps of stories to share and it will feel great when July long weekend rolls around. Here’s a few of my fav photos from Toronto Pride over the years. Thank googness for Google! All the pride photos I’ve every posted rounded up in one quick search. Toronto Pride Memories Jenie + Me, Stewart sister power! Last year w/ Sean on Church Street With love, CASIE

Liberty Village: A Village Within The City

In filmed this short video for Renters Guide with Wall2Wall Media a few months ago (you can tell by the hair). They’re part of the Yellow Pages group and provide real estate media solutions so agents/landlords/developers can reach people like us.  They’ve been in the biz for 25 years and next week I’m hosting an event where they debut this new app. I used to spend heaps of time in Liberty Village when I worked Toronto Carpet Factory building from 2010-2012. Places to grab lunch or afterwork drinks were few and far between back then Now, Liberty Village is hub of businesses, agencies, places to eat, and more. In this vid, I share some of my fav things about Liberty Village. Below are some notable Canadians featured this video series too. Content in Context – Neighbourhood and Lifestyle Videos Chef Massimo Capra introduces us to the best meat shop in Port Credit, Mississauga Urban Suburban TV hosts/real estate experts Sarah Daniels and Philip DuMoulin, unveil English Bay’s breathtaking views from Kitsilano, Vancouver Olympic Curler Cheryl Bernard strolls through the beautiful parks in Bridgeland, Calgary Country music star and radio host Clayton Bellamy feasts on the best burger in Windemere, Edmonton If you’re interested you can DL the app from iTunes and find them on Twitter and FB at @RentersGuide_CA and TheRentersGuide. Customize Everything | Laptop Skin w/ My Face Yo

I looked pretty dorky but in a cool way at the Drake Hotel for dinner last night. I grabbed my computer and ran out the door not relly thinking about the fact I was wearing the same dress! Photo was taken when we were in California last summer, that was a great vacation. One of the cool things about GelaSkins (where I have been working the last few months) is the Create Your Own section on the website. You can upload any photo and make a case for your phone or skin for your laptop. Over the next couple months, you’ll see a bunch of new products (aside from tech accessories) that you will be able to customize. I am a HUGE fan of customizing everything. I’ve always wanted my name and face on stuff. Next thing I am making is a shirt like this w/ my face. pic.twitter.com/Aa8oV0CPQQ — CASIE STEWART (@casiestewart) June 10, 2014 If you are interested in making something for yourself, your business, mama, or BFF, LMK. Happy to help you out or hook you up. With love & light, CASIE

Telus Day of Giving 2014|Garden Paint Party!

Last weekend EmBot and I volunteered at the ninth annual TELUS Day of Giving w/ 15,000 TELUS team members,  who took part in 700 activities in local communities across Canada. We worked in the garden area painting signs for the community planters. at the Harbourfront Community Centre. It was really fun painting these, thinking about picking some up for the cottage and painting on the dock.   Some of the team with us that day cleaned up the garden area in the middle of the centre. It was lookin’ pretty shabby when we arrived and by the end of the day is was beautiful! We all had lunch in the courtyard to finish the day. 🙂 Until early July, Canadians who share their community giving photos and stories at givewherewelive.ca and on Twitter/Instagram using the hashtag #givewherewelive will have the opportunity to receive up to $50,000 toward the cause of their choice.  For more info visit on givewherewelive.ca.  Thanks Emma and the Telus TO team for inviting us! Been working with Telus since 2009 and my first mobile phone was on Clearnet back in 2000. How can you not love their ads? This little guy has great hair. <3 CASIE

#SaveYourScreams #MMVA 2014: 2 Noms, 1 Commercial!

The 2014 MMVA show is next weekend and this year is an exciting one for me! Sean and 1188 Films are nominated for two awards in Post Production AND my sister is an MMVA commercial now playing on your TV. I’ve always loved the MMVAs and in 2010 I was the Social Media Manager for the show while I worked at MuchMTV. 1188’s nominations are for Hedley – Crazy for You and Sam Roberts – We’re All In This Together. He’ll be attending the show with his team and I’ll be prepping to hit the town after and *hopefully* celebrate them bringing home another award. Cross ya fingaz! Last year Sean & 1188 worked on Drake’s ‘Started from the Bottom’ which won video of the year. In 2012 they won an award for Down With Webster’s ‘Big Wheels’. Keep an eye out for my samurai-sword-swinging sister on your TV. Jenie Stewart is in an MMVA ‘Save Your Screams’ commercial. It’s pretty funny, they made the girls look pretty rough and fight against each other. Love it! Watch Jenie’s 2014 MMVA Commercial #SaveYourScreams It’s also pretty exciting Lorde will be at the show. GO TEAM NEW ZEALAND! She’s killing it! So proud of Jenie, Sean, and Lorde! As for me, I’m getting a Chevy Camaro convertible for that weekend from Klout so I’ll be feeling pretty great too. Happy Friday my friends! <3 CASIE

There is Such a Thing as Too Much Nature

And I discovered it it this weekend. Once again, I was attached by bugs. One little jerk even bit me on the eyelid and not it looks like somebody socked me one in the face. We had a relaxing time at the cottage with Sean’s parents, great dinners, and lovely weather. Next weekend is Field Trip so I’ll be staying in the city. Mum just informed me that if you take lots of B12 they won’t bite. Good thing I know that now for the rest of the summer! I’m really behind on blogging but it was SO NICE OUT this weekend I couldn’t bring myself to stay inside and do work. I’ve got a bunch of things to share this week! Stay tuned 🙂 If you haven’t yet, you can subscribe to THIS IS MY LIFE and get a nice little email delivery when I update. Each email includes 4-5 blog posts and is send once a week. I have spent a lot of time working on these emails, so I hope you enjoy. For any newbie bloggers out there looking for an email service provider, you might want to take a look at PieSync (the Mailgun vs Sendgrid blog post is particularly useful). It has certainly helped me. Here’s to a great week!

But There Are 365 Days of the Year, Honey!

I have this coffee shop that I regularly pass by on my way to work where the regulars always comment on my shoes. They don’t know anything about me except that I work in the area, so, they nicknamed me ‘Shoes’. One husband said he doesn’t understand why his wife has SO MANY shoes, “she only has two feet!” he said. I was quick witted in my reply,  “but there are 365 days of the year, honey!’. Laughter ensued a the table and throughout the shop.  I left with a smile from ear to ear. Shoeme.ca recently asked me to be an Ambassador and offered me a $150 gift card for the site. In my first visit I was pretty impressed with the prices and selection. I’m all about cute flats for summer so I was stoked to see Keds and Converse. I picked out these two pairs of Keds (as seen on Taylor Swift) and a cute pair of Hush Puppies all for my $150 (shipping included). If you’ve not visited the site you might be offered a discount I’m looking at these leather sandals and these white Converse – Dainty knowing I really do not need them, but… What is it about shoes that makes us feel this way? #Toronto is ready for spring: Check 28 street style shots from Trinity Bellwoods this weekend http://t.co/S69ykVpjNy pic.twitter.com/14ccutcGp0 — FASHION Magazine (@FashionCanada) May 18, 2014 I was wearing these lovely little red & white guys on my birthday in Trinity Bellwoods the other day. Don’t mind that my shoes are a little dirty. I wore them before I had time to take their photo. I love a little summer dress and cute, yet comfortable shoes. Apparently so does she. Lemme tell ya, I feel like Taylor Swift in my new Keds. BTW her campaign is really cute.  🙂 <3…

Suffer for Your Art | Sunset Canoe Ride

Last night we went for a romantic sunset canoe ride. It was so incredibly beautiful. Took these with my GoPro. Jumped in the lake before calling it a night. It’s so great to be back up at the cottage. The weather this weekend was pretty nice except the bugs were HORRIBLE. I really ‘suffered for my art’ as Sean calls it because I got about 20 nasty bites while on the canoe ride. Mostly on my bum! The little buggers got me right through my Lululemon pants! This week is gonna be great! Today is the warmest day of the year. We’re about to launch some AWESOME stuff at work and today I’ve got a NXNE site visit for our festival sponsorship. The Jays are doing great and Thursday I’ve got a double date with Lauren and our BFs to sit in the Bacardi Best Seats for the game. We went last year and it was awesome. Here’s to a wonderful week and warm sunny days! Don’t forget to wear sunscreen 🙂 <3 CASIE

Artness is All Around You

Saw a bunch of artistic things around today as I was out walking. One kinda crazy thing I saw was this let of kids mannequin legs out for the trash bin. Naturally, I snapped a photo and posted on Instagram. My friends at the AGO regrammed my photo as part of their #isartalien pop up. As I was on my way back to the office after lunch I saw that a mad had picked UP THE LEGS and was taking them somewhere. I creepily snapped this photo to document. You know how I do! Hopefully he is using them as a sculpture or something artistic… Somebody FOUND THE LEGS. pic.twitter.com/zzEtLknIlt — CASIE STEWART (@casiestewart) May 15, 2014 This table is at Ravi Soups, I thought it looked lovely with the chairs and floor pattern. The floor in there was super slippery from the rain so I was concentrating on it quite a bit. These guys are workin’ on the railroad near our house. All the live-long day. My rose coloured glasses seem to add a brightness to everything despite the dreary rainy day. I’m really looking forward to the weekend. More than ever, really. I feel like I need a vacation, even if only for a few days. Sending sunshine your way! <3 CASIE

Smart Phones, Dumb People: Look up!

Watched this vid today and thought I should share. ‘Look Up’ – A spoken word film for an online generation. It’s a ‘lesson taught to us through a love story, in a world where we continue to find ways to make it easier for us to connect with one another, but always results in us spending more time alone’. Written, Performed & Directed by Gary Turk. “When you’re too busy looking down, you don’t see the chances you miss.” Now stop reading this where ever you are, put down your phone, go outside.  Step away from your phone some time this weekend. Appreciate the day and that it’s all yours. Happy Friday! 🙂 <3 CASIE

And We’re Back! | The Juice Life (I mean me lol)

OK so I kinda lost hold of that ‘juice life’ I was rolling for a few weeks. I love my new juicer but it’s a life change to keep up with a new routine. I WAS getting groceries each Sunday morning like a good lil’ b, then I missed one day and it screwed up my whole week. After that, I missed two weeks because I didn’t make the time. Keeping up juicing takes a bit of dedication. Not the actual juicing part, that’s easy, but the stocking up on quality fruits and veggies. Now I’m back!  Today I made a gorgeous blend of green apple, carrot, celery, ginger,  and lemon. I’ve been sipping on it all day! If you have any great juice recipes or tips to stay on the juice train, let me know via Twitter or in the comments. Love to know your thoughts on this series too. <3 CASIE

Millennials: Getting the right mix of financial advice

I never thought I’d be in an article about having good finances, let alone millennials and good financial advice.. It seemed impossible back when I graduated from collegge and uni, faced with debt from school, and every major credit card. I moved back from Australia and was BROKE. I had mounting debt and wasn’t making nearly enough money. I was on this show called Maxed Out (now on the Oprah Network!) where I confronted my debt with a financial advisor and through that experience, got a better paying job. If you don’t think you’ll get a spot on a show so you’re able to tackle your financial issues head-on, instead just get in touch with a service like Traverse City wealth management firm so you’re able to fix your finances. The host thought me making a living by being ‘Casie Stewart’ was a total joke and nearly impossible since I didn’t come from money. She compared me to Paris Hilton and I officially launched my casiestewart.com website at the end of the show. I had been writing THIS IS MY LIFE at blogspot but finally went to my own url. This week, an article that I consulted on recently came out with a study from TD bank. It quotes me and was published on PR Newswire, Yahoo Finance and some other places. This is my real story and my actual serious advice is if you are having money worries, no matter how broke you are, it is helpful to see someone who can get you on the right track. I’m 31 and debt free now! When looking into loans and finance advisers, you’ll need to do your research and learn to understand the alternative lenders and options you have. I have also learned a lot about managing money and utility…

Ain’t Gonna Stop the Rain by Complaining

Rain, rain go away… I was off work yesterday and If you follow me on Twitter you will know I had a tiny sliver of glass stuck in my foot. It was SO PAINFUL! I went to the walk-in then to the XRAY and by the end of the day I was at another doctor. I had a needle that hurt like CRAZY into my foot to freeze it before the glass was removed. It’s better today, thank god. I arrived to the office today to find 2 boxes of shoes on my desk. I’ll be sharing those with you later this week. I also received a sweet package from Blow Vapor of nicotine-free e-cigarettes. They caused quite a stir in the office when everyone came to check ’em out. You might want to check them out too if you’re not able to get you’re favorite brand from somewhere like snus deutschland. Major office excitement over my sweet package from @BlowVapor. Everybody wants to try ’em! #ecigs pic.twitter.com/4Rq9Dvrunj — CASIE STEWART (@casiestewart) April 29, 2014 Thanks to Sean for being a big help yesterday. Helped me with the car AND got me a burger from The Drake Hotel for dinner. What a legend. He was my Man Crush Monday 🙂 It’s super rainy and yuk in Toronto today. I ordered my fav pasta (Grilled Chicken Pene) from Magic Oven to the office just so I could stay in side (and not have to walk far!). I’ve always loved this Mark Twain quote and whenever we have a real crap day I think about it… Put a smile on your face and flash it around 🙂 CASIE

Get Luckee + Get Leather

This week was a busy one. Stayed in last night. There were no cabs due to the rain so I picked Em up from school in a black Lincoln town car from Uber. I had a couple credits so it wasn’t that bad! She was totes excited and I then ordered takeout for dinner. Wednesday was the opening of Susur Lee’s new spot Luckee at the Soho Met hotel. [Susur Lee selfie] Fun opening, and the food I got around to trying was great. I need to go back for a sit down dinner. I’ve done a few things with Met hotels over the years (here + here) plus Community Agency did the Luckee branding so it was great to see lots of familiar faces since we’ve all been hibernating for months. Lauren and I met SANDY COHEN. If you follow me on any other social network you’ve probably seen this already. I loved the OC so much. We were there and Laguna last summer, so much fun. My ‘Celebrity Selfie’ collection is really growing. The Rudsak sample sale is on till Sunday. I’ve worn my new jacket and used my new bag on the daily day since I picked them out Wednesday. Here’s the three items I got. Worth stopping by if you’re in the market for a new bag or leather jacket. I had a gift card to put towards my purchase so it was an even sweeter deal. Heading out to Yorkdale to use a gift card for Ted Baker I’ve been holding onto forever. Hellooo Spring! Have an awesome day 🙂 <3 CASIE Bag Jacket Shoes Rudsak Sample Sale Hours Location:60 Atlantic Avenue Liberty Village, Toronto Saturday, April 26th 10am – 5pm Sunday, April 27th 10am – 5pm

You Light Up My Life, Sunshine

I’ve had this coat for what seems like a million years. I got it at Gap when I worked at the Fairview Park Mall store during highschool. I guess it was almost a million years. Took some photos with my GoPro this morning and didn’t realize there was water droplets on the camera. Got some good news about a project this morning and as I usually do, called up Mum with a big smile on my face. She can always tell that something good happened by sound of my voice. The funny thing about this tweet is that the stupid basic pants from Zara just got a broken zipper. SO BASIC. haha. Made me laugh. Shut up Zara. #basic pic.twitter.com/dSwcq4ACgM — CASIE STEWART (@casiestewart) April 22, 2014 Tonight Lauren and I are going to a documentary about selfies, we are gonna take so many selfies. I’m pretty sure she’s in it. I remember meeting up one day and her saying ‘I was just in a movie about selfies’. Appropriate. I just ate this taco Tuesday magic for lunch. It was delicious. Here comes the sun 🙂  <3 CASIE

Post Yoga Juicing Party

I’ve been using my juicer everyday since we filmed this. At first I was like, how do I use this thing! This is my confused face haha. We did yoga then rolled up to Sasha’s house so she could give me the low down on exactly how to juice right. Once we realized how EASY it is we were ready to get started. Garret raided the market for heaps of fresh organic goodness. Look, this is us laughing! 🙂 We used lots of fresh ingredients. Try to use organic stuff but no matter what make sure you wash everything really good. In the last week I have gone through more vegetables and fruit than ever in my life. Ginger Beet Juice Recipe Ingredients: 1 medium size orange 3 kale leaves 2 medium sized Fuji apples 2 medium sized carrots 1 large beet 1 1-inch piece of peeled ginger Ice Cubes (optional) Feeling Worse Before You Feel Better This pic is some of the juices I made over the last week. One thing I learned about as a beginner is ‘Detox Headaches’. Your body finally has a chance to get rid of some of the toxins it has been holding onto, if you are like me, my liver is full of them! Which is why a liver detox is for me. Remember, your body is going through a healing and cleansing process, it can take 1-4 weeks to clean you up depending on the toxicity level in your body. Make sure you drink lots of water and don’t give up. I feel heaps better this week than last week. I would LOVE to know your fav juice recipes. Tweet me or leave a comment. I’m new at this so I’m really up for anything!

Behind The Red Carpet Trailer | A TIFF Documentary!

Last September during TIFF I filmed a documentary called Behind the Red Carpet, directed by Michelle Daides. I was pretty hush about the whole thing but now I can let the cat outta the BAG. The film is finished and the trailer is now ONLINE! My role is the blogger and in the trailer you’ll catch a funny bit about some extensions. I really can’t wait for the premiere to see what bits made the final cut. Nicholas Cage and Olivia Wilde are in it too btw. Behind the Red Carpet – Feature Documentary Behind The Red Carpet – an uncensored view into the Toronto International Film Festival…. In a world of smoke and mirrors, we expose the movers, shakers and key players who puppeteer the brightest talent and engineer the most exclusive events during one of the biggest film festivals in the world. BTRC features celebrity photographer George Pimentel, PR Maven Natasha Koifman (NKPR), Renowned Blogger Casie Stewart, Entertainment Editor of The Huffington Post (Canada) Chris Jancelewicz and Spoke Club President, Pierre Jutras as well as a slew of A-Listers from Maria Bello, Alan Cuming, Paul Haggis, Olivia Wilde, Nicholas Cage etc. If you didn’t see the trailer for the other doc I was in last year ‘It’s All About Me‘, watch it on YouTube here. It was in few film festivals last year and even won an award! Hopefully my next film is in Hollywood! A girl’s gotta dream right?! <3 CASIE

Speaking | Mark Your iCal – CM1 May, 22nd, at CBC

Next month I’m speaking at CM1, Canada’s Community Manager Conference. I was a panelist at the last one and this round I’ll be speaking about ‘Influencing the Influencers’. I’ve travelled the world and worked with some of the worlds biggest brands and done heaps of work as an as ‘influencer’.  It’s been really neat watching the roles of ‘influencer’ and ‘Community Manager’ evolve over the last five years. When I started at MuchMusic/MTV as a ‘Social Media Coordinator’, the role ‘Community Manager’ was almost unheard of. Now, it’s a job you’ll find at almost every agency and client-side brand. I’ll be sharing my experience and tips for brands and bloggers when it comes to working together. I was recently on CBC in a segment about this very topic (scroll down to March 22, episode). Follow the conversation for tickets and speaker up dates on Twitter here and take a peek at the other speakers here. I’ll see if I can contest some tickets for you guys to come! .@casiestewart is among the first batch of speakers for #CM1TO http://t.co/oMuZuf1mKo — FITC (@FITC) April 3, 2014   * Photos of me by Adrian Fiebig

TIFF Bell LightBox | The digiPlaySpace IS AWESOME!

Last night after dinner I stopped by the TIFF Bell Lightbox to visit the digiPlaySpace. For the first time, TIFF invited grown-ups to get down and geek out. The After Hours event inside digiPlaySpace introduced big kids like to me TIFF’s award-winning interactive exhibition. Thanks TIFF for the invite. Some of my fav parts below! The line was pretty long for PaperDude but I’ve tried it before. Look at this dork, haha! I love playing with Green Screen. I should have done Sesame Street instead of the Ellen Selfie. That’s so overdone! Big Bird was chillin’ by the DJ booth. Not sure what was going on here but the people on the floor had a camera on them that was projecting on the wall. Pong anyone? This was some kind of digital pong/fooseball thing. Looked like fun! At the digiPlaySpace, kids (big or small!) can play with emerging creative media technologies and share innovative artistic experiences. On sale now to TIFF Members and school groups. Find out more about tickets and pricing here. Can’t wait to take EmBot here to play around! I used waterlight painting to paint my name (of course). Don’t mind that the person beside me painted an ‘O’. DOH! <3 CASIE #waterlightgraffiti #digiplayspace https://t.co/hZmQ5OPV5K — CASIE STEWART (@casiestewart) April 1, 2014

Come and Get It | Sandwiches, Snacks, PayPal!

If you haven’t been to Come And Get It yet, you’ve gotta check it out. Sean’s friend Rob is an all star bartender there and the food is delicious. We went there for dinner again last night. You know I’m not much of a ‘foodie’ but let me tell ya, totally worth stopping by. It’s right beside Czehoski. Two things I think are really awesome about Come And Get it The menu has 35 combinations of food you can get. Pick your size ie. snack, slider, sandwich, then pick your flavour. You can pay with PayPal! There are a select group of spots downtown that now have the option to pay for your meal using the PayPal app. The taco flatbread is freaking delicious. This is a jerk chicken poutine I had on my first visit. Last night I had the coconut shrimp poutine and the friend chicken poutine. They are small so you don’t feel huge after chowing them down.  I never even considered throwing these flavours together but GAHHH THEY ARE AMAZING. It makes a great date spot because the poutine, flatbread, salad etc are great for sharing. You know I love technology and innovation. I hope to see more and more places accept PayPal. It’s so easy and hassle free. You just tell your server you are paying with PayPal, they pull you up on the app, you add your tip, and before you know it a receipt is in your hand on your phone.  None of the ‘wave your hand n the air to get the bill’ or ‘let me get the machine’ wait time. When you roll through, say ‘HI’ ask for Chandler or Rob who might be behind the bar. Great spot, good food! There is a stellar drink menu that I really need…

#iheartbosk Media Dinner at Shangri-La Toronto

One week ago I had the great pleasure of dining with a bunch of friends/media darlings at Bosk, the restaurant in Toronto’s Shangri-La Hotel. The food was fantastic, I had a bit too much wine, and heaps of laughs. Major thanks to Shangri-La and Daniel from dothedaniel.com for organizing this special event. We also ran a contest for our followers to win a high tea experience. The winner was Victoria Ess who had over 200 retweets. A few days before dinner I received this darling little delivery with a written note, macaroons, and paper crane. I love when brands, media, bloggers take that little extra step to make you feel special. We had set seats and red paper cranes displayed our names along with the customized menu for the night. Each menu item was paired with wine to accentuate the flavour.  We tried several new items added for spring and a few Bosk classics. Before sitting down to eat we got a tour of the magical Garden Suite and took in the high tea experience. I could have stayed there for the night! It was so fabulous and huge. The bed, I can’t even. Dear Diary, I’m at the @shangrilaTO in the Garden Suite, having tea. #iheartbosk https://t.co/4mtyTYT3Q1 — CASIE STEWART (@casiestewart) March 25, 2014   Two menu items I loved were the Marinated Fluke and Nova Scotia Lobster ravioli. Halibut roll, WHAT? We finished the dinner with a Cherry Blossom Cotton Candy tree that had a USB key for each of us. The cherry cotton candy was NOT like that cheap stuff from the CNE, it was delicious. Red chocolate lipstick, yummm! Thanks @ShangriLaTO @boskTO for an amazing dinner experience tonight! #iheartbosk pic.twitter.com/oFhYc6je6E — CASIE STEWART (@casiestewart) March 26, 2014   I wish I had a longer arm! #iheartbosk dinner crew.…

Huge TBT | The Blog Years, March 2009 – 2013

Ok here’s a MASSIVE TBT on the month of March from 2009 – 2013. I love looking back on things I’ve done. It’s so easy to forget! The main reason I started this blog in 2005 was so I could remember more. It totally worked! On this day last year Sean sent me flowers to the office .What a darling. Love you! I also blogged about Andy Warhol on this day last year. Sean and I were getting ready to go on a trip to Boston too. See posts tagged March 2013 here. Two years ago on this day I was at The Gladstone for an event. Loved those boots so much. And RIP that leather jacket. Took part in a round table w/ Russ Martin from Marketing Magazine about Rdio & music streaming in Canada. It was MUCH nicer outside and I visited the Toronto Music Garden. Took this using 360 Panoramic app in iPhone from  hTO Park (Urban Beach) which is right beside the lake. Around this time two years ago I filmed ‘It’s All About Me’ documentary that last year won several film festival awards. I’m in another documentary that will be on the festival circuit soon. Pretty neat if you ask me! In March 2011 I was a Personal Branding expert with Levi’s. I love looking back on this stuff, I forget how many things I’ve done! Here are some tips on building your personal brand to help  establish yourself online: Set a goal: Make a plan for your brand. What are you passionate about? What do you want to be known for? Start a blog: Use WordPress, Tumblr, Blogger or Posterous to create a free home for your online activity. Find a mentor: Find someone who is doing what you want to do and introduce yourself, learn from them…
