Received quite a lovely gift in the mail from my love, Ted Baker London today. Was invited to be an ambassador for the launch campaign in Canada last year and I’m back for Spring! This year celebrates the 25th celebration of Ted Baker London and they’ve got some fun stuff planned. For Spring 2013, Ted Baker London has launched a Finishing School. I loved this idea because I went to modelling school as a teenager, which was much like finishing school. Under Ted’s orders we’re all in detention this week. The first 500 lucky students to enter their line of the day through Twitter, Facebook or Instagram will receive a limited edition tote adorned with their line. One student will be chosen and rewarded top of the class by a fashion blogger for especially creative and inspired entries. Prize for that is a beautiful leather satchel embossed with their initials. Latest app in my photo collection is DBLCAM. Uses both front & back facing cameras to take one picture, tell both sides of the story. It’s free. I love using multiple apps to make creative images. I was making collages of my face and text LONG before apps like Diptic (collage) and Over (text). Learn about those apps by watching my show on Coral TV (iPhonography/Overgram). Filmed a couple new eps in the park today that’ll be released in the next few weeks. My show hits the internet airways each Friday afternoon at youtube.com/coral. Watched Sixteen Candles last night. Love the style Molly has in the Brat Pack movies. I am going to go shopping this weekend and buying myself some new spring clothes. I’ve been cleaning out my closet and have a huge bag to take to the Salvo for donation. Spring cleaning feels so good. View was looking pretty nice when I got home from work. I love daylight savings because it feels like getting done work an hour early. I watched the yellow eye of a storm move across the skyline for 20 minutes till the air was filled with hail. It was a great day for mail too! Opened this lovely tea package from Tetley to find a magical little tea pot & cup for all my teas. Thank you! Received a Fashion Week Survival kit from FLAUNT. Thanks guys! Totally unexpected and appreciated! It’s got fabric goodies, body tape, silicone nip covers for daring outfits, and an eye mask which I will use tonight. I’m ready for a good sleep. I bet when you see this thing at a construction site near you the first thing that comes to mind is not shoes? It’s ok, I would have never thought that EITHER! I own one pair of CAT boots (See: Stella in brown) that I’m wearing right now and have worn, walked, and biked in since they arrived in September. They might be the most comfortable boots I own. Prepare to be amazed by the CAT footwear’s 2013 collection. You will be wanting! I LOVE this little shoe. There are all for your boyfriend. These are wedges. Love! Heart a flutter over these little babies. And these too. Swoon worthy boot love. The Fermenting Cellar and various buildings in the Distillery are so lovely for their sheer beauty and oldness. I have a crush on this set of chairs. Reminds me of something Mum would have at our house. There are some really, really nice styles for men. These are for someone handsome & stylish. On Friday I went to Ford Canada’s annual Ford Blue party. I sat in this sexy blue 2013 Mustang, wore my fav Ted Baker London blue dress, and ate a bunch of blue candies. I love Ford events and how the brand consistently caters to media with small details to make sure they have a great time. The food was excellent, the entertainment was fun, and I had a few drinks of my fav Grey Goose. Last year I travelled to Detroit twice with Ford and I really got to know the brand personally and learn that they reall know how to do social well. Ford is one of the top social brands in the world. Definitely a brand other brands should be following. Thanks Ford for hosting us for a great night. They even had a shuttles running to take everyone back downtown from Sound Academy. Today I recieved the 2013 SS Lookbook for Thomas Sabo featuring brand ambassadors Poppy Delevingne and David Garrett. Last month I was in London, UK for the launch of Thomas Sabo SS 2013 a collection that features rose gold and yellow gold plated sterling silver. There are SO MANY nice things. Check it out here! The official launch event was at The Shard London, the tallest (not yet open to the public) building in the entire European Union. It was a totally amazing experience. I met both Poppy and David and there were a whole slew of celebs there including F1 driver Nico Rosberg, Jade Jagger, Sugababes, Ellie Goulding, and some Brazilian soccer stars. I was super impressed with David’s rocker style and ability to play violin so badass. Check this out! In other news, I was sent a gift for you from Thomas Sabo. ![Thomas Sabo SS13 Launch at The Shard, London, UK]()
On December 5th I went to the SS 2013 launch of Thomas Sabo. It was at the Shard London, UK. There had NEVER been an event there and it doesn’t open to the public until FEBRUARY 2013. Amazing experience to be one of the first Canadians in the building and post the first Instagram’s checkins OF LIFE. Ermahgerd. I got to meet Thomas Sabo himself and the new brand ambassadors Poppy Delevingne and David Garrett. Poppy was lovely and energetic with an accent I wish I could borrow. David is an American/German, violin playing, bad boy with long hair, great style, and a beard. Both total babes. There were a pile of celebrities there including including Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg, Jade Jagger, British Pop group Sugababes and Ellie Goulding. The new GOLDEN SILVER line is all about tri-colour matching Sterling silver, rose gold and yellow gold. I wore that gorgesous dress from Ted Baker London, with a Ted’s purse, vintage jacket, Top Shop tights, Thomas Sabo jewellery, and Jeffrey Campbell shoes. It was so much fun. Took it easy and got a good sleep on Day 1. Tuesday was a busy day one with the big launch event and I wanted to be well rested. Here’s a recap of the day, tour of my hotel suite, and my downtown shopping adventures. It was a blast to hand out with Truc from Flare Canada and Lindsay from Faulhaber Communications. We represented Canada well! Welcome to my room… This old bath was lovely and the bed was MASSIVE. So relaxing. Woke up to a delivery of Thomas Sabo goodies! Started the day with a tea. When in Rome!

My third day in London was very short. Most of it was spent in traffic and at the airport. Had a lovely English breakfast at the hotel before my driver arrived. Luckily, there was a bunch of empty seats on my flight to Montreal so I was able to take a whole row and sleep! I needed it! Soon as I arrived in Montreal I has to get to hotel and change for the Tia Maria Room event with Community. It was hectic but I loved every minute of it. Huge thank you again to Thomas Sabo and Faulhaber Communications for this adventure. It was inspiring and exciting. Check out the Thomas Sabo shop next time you are in Yorkville. Although only a short trip, it was awesome to travel in style, and attend the launch event with media from 18 countries.
