Took subway home from work today after stopping by the Nella Bella head office. I’ve been friends with the designers for years and truly love them! I do not however, love loud talkers on the subway. Don’t people realize they are being loud/rude/annoying? We all don’t need to know the floodplan of your new apartment or that your sister still has that loser boyfriend. Couple years ago I made videos of loud talking people and posted them online. I feel that might be a bit inappropriate now, but I still think about it. This is my new fav bag. A big black purse is a staple for every city girl or woman who loves to travel. My Nella Bella bags have been around the world with me on all kinds of adventures! Last week I hosted Ted’s 25th celebration at the beautiful store in Yorkdale Mall. In true Ted Baker London style, it was a hoot! I played around in the clothes trying on everything I could get my little hands on, helping customers, drinking lemonade, and dancing to wicked beats. The entire store was 25% off to celebrate 25 years of the iconic brand. As a Ted baker London Ambassador, I was lucky to pick a few items out for myself! It was hard to choose, trust me! Took myself for lunch in the park yesterday. It was lovely. Sun shining bright, people on bikes, shirtless hipsters catching rays, picnic blankets, and puppies playing. ![Test Drive from Ted Baker London Spring 2013]()
On Friday I got to do something that is every girls dream! Stopped by the Ted Baker London showroom at Faulhaber Communications to check out a bunch of spring items to pick something to ‘Test Drive’. Squeeeeeeee! I’ve been an ambassador with lots of different brands over the years and this for sure ranks up there. I was feeling kinda meh and as soon as I started trying things on my spirits were uplifted! All the Ted Baker London clothes are extremely well made and have strong attention to detail. The style fits me so well, they’re playful and fun yet classy and tailored. I noticed the camel cape as soon as I wanted in but tried on a bunch of things and looked at all the bags. I wish had every item in my wardrobe! I decided to go for the camel cape. It’s 70% virgin wool blended with cashmere. I love it. The inside also has beautiful orange/yellow ribbon stitching and fine details. I’ll have this thing forever. Matches great with my fav Ted Baker London purse and bulldog print scarf. Now that I’ve sampled this stuff I will deff be making a trip to the Toronto store at Yorkdale Mall. Hope the sun is shining bright on you today. Here’s to a great week! <3 CASIE

Last week on Coral TV I talked about one of my fav new apps. It’s called Vine and it’s from Twitter. Vine allows you to shoot and edit at the same time by touching the screen with your finger. Once created, you upload the six second loop and share to Vine, Twitter, or Facebook. I love that the Vine can be viewed within the Twitter app. I made a GIF of the episode because I love making GIFs. I’ve been part of the short video evolution over the last few years with 12seconds.tv, Keek, Viddy, GIF apps, and now Vine. It’s amazing to be a creator when technology is always changing. Day 2 of World Mastercard Fashion Week was pretty fun. My fav thing (as I already said) is seeing all my fashion friends in one place. My hair is wild today. Leftovers from my fashion makeover last night. Lipstick is Coral Crush my Maybelline that Lucky used on me last night. I went out and bought it right after! It’s freezing guys. Too cold for fashion week! WTF is up with the snow? This is what backstage in hair & makeup looks like. I got a mega VIP experience last night and had my hair & makeup done by the lovely Lucky. We used to work at MuchMuaic/MTV years ago. This photo is from the FW 2013 launch for Nella Bella the other day. Sean & Brock, both so handsome. I’m glad I cut my hair too. Moto jacket is from Nasty Gal’s first ever collection (SS 2013). Obsessed with that site BTW (HINT HINT BIRTHDAY IS COMING). This private event , hosted by Nella Bella’s Creative Director Tarek Al-Azbat introduced to us and the media to many firsts for the six-year-old fashion house. New products include scarves, cowls, a PDA carrying case, multi-compartment tote and more wallets. I’ve had a few NB bags over the years and have literally worn them out by taking them around the world and on a zillion adventures. It was lovely to be there supporting Tarek and celebrating with my fashion friends family. I’d really like this big ol’ black one. It is similar to a style from a couple season back that I absolutely LOVED!
