Milo’s 2024 Wellness Retreat

I recently had the opportunity to attend Milo PR‘s multi-brand Wellness Retreat designed to rejuvenate and inspire. It was so nice! The event was held at ARC (Active Remedy Club) in Liberty Village and it was my first time there. It’s beautiful! My afternoon featured an IV drip session, hot/cold therapy (my fav!) and the latest products from Shark Beauty, Matte Equation, Ardene, and more. It was the perfect opportunity to relax and reset. When I arrived I received a bag of goodies and a new swimsuit + tracksuit from Ardene. I had a guided stretching session in the sauna and then did two minutes in the cold plunge, twice. Next, I changed into my new tracksuit for an IV drip full of vitamins. It was so relaxing I nearly fell asleep, as seen here. 🤗 I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice the holiday & winter collections are from Ardene. I have my eye on a few items for the holiday party season! HUGE thank you to Doan & the team at Milo for curating a really nice experience & sending me home with so many things! I’ve never really been a tracksuit girly but I’ve been wearing this one so much! GHHMBMSM194470757 Selfies are all me and professional photos are by @itsjjmedia x @ricosoproduction.

Activate Stockyards: Largest Location!

I recently went to the media opening of ACTIVATE Stockyards, their largest location in the world. IT WAS SO FUN! Sarah and I had a blast playing the games, my favs were the Mega Grid and Hoops (trivia + basketball). Check out all the games here, the laser game is like being in a spy movie or trying to rob a bank where you’re dodging lasers across the entire room. Activate is the world’s first interactive gaming facility and total TikTok viral sensation. Their latest spot is in the Stockyards area, following massive successes in Mississauga and Cambridge (my hometown!). Activate Stockyards is a massive facility spanning 19,218 square feet, with 19 unique game rooms, including the famous Mega Grid (my fav), Push with 452 light-up buttons and the precision-driven Strike game. ”We are thrilled to be bringing Activate’s largest location in history to Canada’s largest city, Toronto. This exciting new location is a fantastic addition to the vibrant Stockyards neighborhood. We can’t wait for Toronto’s bustling community to experience the largest entertainment concept in the world.” Adam Schmidt, Founder & CEO of Activate Highly recommend checking this out with friends, your partner, or family. one of the funniest things was when my Apple Watch thought I had taken a fall after diving to hide in one of the games. Prices start at $29.99 for 75 minutes of gameplay and they limit the number of people who can book at a certain time so it doesn’t get too busy. See packages and pricing on the website at playactivate.com. Running around for all the games was a great workout so 75 minutes is more than enough time to have fun. LMK if you check it out! Kickoff to Summer – GrillzJam

This weekend, Shark|Ninja invited us to the incredible home of Toronto based artist Charles Pachter for a kickoff to summer. Panoramic views, great people, and the centrepiece of it all – a Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill. They were also giving away custom grillz onsite from Cappd. I didn’t win a custom grill but I would really like to have this outdoor grill on our patio. Especially Sean lol. Had a great chat with Charles about his career and beautiful home, both a private residence and gallery museum. He purchased the lot 1996 and there was a Jewish funeral home in the back, “I really took a chance with this place when no one else wanted to“. It was nice to see friends and eat snacks on the rooftop, just as the sun was setting. I had so many laughs my face legit hurt. Loved exploring the art, glass elevator, studio, and multiple patios. I first visited this house in 2010 (see below) and to quote myself, “Honestly, the place is stunning. If you ever get to go there, go. Actually, find a reason.” When I saw the theme was ’70’s mod/cool’, I knew my outfit right away. This silky jumpsuit has been sitting in my closet for months and I was waiting for the perfect moment to bring her out. Thank you Cappd, Ninja Kitchen Canada, DM Public for a great time & Charles Pachter for having us in your home. All photos by Nick, bestoftoronto.net. Show some love to this post on Instagram here! FROM THE ARCHIVES: SEPTEMBER 13, 2010 👩🏼‍💻 According to the archives, I first visited this same home in 2010 for a Toronto Film Fest party. Reading old blog posts is such a trip. It’s like an old diary, written by you at some point, yet you don’t remember writing…

Illuminarium: Experience Extraordinary

I recently went to the opening of Illuminarium Toronto in the Distillery District, an immersive art experience. I almost didn’t go because we were leaving for Venice Film Fest the next day but I am so glad I did! I’d actually like to go back when it’s not an event so I can take it all in. Illuminarium was one of Las Vegas’s top immersive attractions and now you can experience immersive storytelling as a permanent fixture in the city of Toronto. The event was super fun, we danced, drank, and immersed ourselves in the art around us. My favourite was the safari adventure, seeing the animals all around you was a cool experience. About Illuminarium The immersive venue uses cutting-edge visual, audio, and projection technology to bring you shows and experiences unlike anything you have ever seen Illuminarium will transport you to the surface of the moon, face to face with an African lion, or down the rabbit hole to Wonderland. Thank you Deanne Moser & DM Public for a great night! Photos by Kennedy Pollard for Getty Images ‍

Venice Film Festival

At the start of September, Sean and I flew to Italy for the Venice Film Festival. His immersive documentary, Spots of Light was accepted into the Venice Film Festival competition! It was also my first time in Italy! We arrived in style with an Official Festival car picking us up from the airport and taking us to the airport boat dock. I’d been dreaming of taking a fancy water taxi and arriving just like Lady Gaga’s iconic arrival in 2018. It was close to that, aside from the paparazzi and me dangling my feet off the side of the boat lol. We arrived at the Excelsior Hotel (where all the celebrities are dropped off!) and were whisked away to another festival driver for hotel delivery. I was loving every moment!
