Spreading Joy w/ Evan Biddell & The Playsuit

If you’ve missed me talking about the Biddell Playsuit the last few years, you’re sleeping! There’s a good chance you’ve seen it on TikTok, in a fashion show, all over Instagram, or on the news. Since creating and selling the playsuit during the pandemic, Biddell has now sold OVER ONE MILLION dollars in Playsuits alone. I’ve known Evan for a decade (at least) and last week, he was a guest on our podcast, Cast of Creators. IT WAS AWESOME. Last week I was a model in Biddell’s ‘WALKOFF’ at Lavelle on King Street. It was so fun. When I got there he said Iooked like Pamela Anderson and someone else said I looked like Nicole Richie. In the words of Paris Hilton, I was SLIVING. (I’m listening to her book right now.) I loved the whole night and especially everyone who slayyyyyed in the walkoff. Biddell has a show at Fashion Art Toronto next month and it’s going to be epic. Who says epic anymore? Ha, whatever. I’m ready for fashion shows & fun events light up the city again! Bring on spring and strutting down the sidewalk. 😁

The other day I joined a bunch of Toronto fashion ladies to hang out with Evan Biddell at a gorgeous studio where we modeled his new line of Playsuits. It was a Playsuit party! If you haven’t heard of the Biddell Playsuit, it’s ‘an oversized flying squirrel-shaped onesie for any body type that inspires movement and creativity.’ I swear, as soon as you put one on you feel fabulous. Perfect for the holidays, or any day. This one looks so nice layered with big jacket, a belt, and great shoes. She fancy. All The Playsuits I also have one in yellow and this glamorous black & gold chain print. Seriously comfortable and can be worn around the house (for hosting?!), with heels/accessories, or as a casual look for any time, really. The best thing about the Playsuit is it fits EVERY BODY. Day 519: Biddell Fashion Show!

I was in a fashion show! I had such a fun time walking in Evan Biddell’s ‘Playsuit’ show at The Grande Bizarre. Watch his video about the show here! It was so great to sit by the pool and chat with other models before heading into hair & makeup. I absolutely love being on stage and it felt good to be out. I did have some Covid anxiety about all the people but it was still extremely fun. Ann Kaplan, Evan Biddell, Christopher Paunil and Michael Zoffaneri invited guests for a night of fashion and entertainment. We also got a sneak peek at Ann’s new fashion line ANNKM. The Biddell Playsuit is extremely comfortable and stylish. Check out all the different styles in the Biddell Shop. Last year on Day 124 I received my first Playsuit order, a custom butter yellow! Day 124: The Playsuit by Biddell

I’d seen Evan Biddel post the famous Playsuit he’s been making and asked if he could make a yellow AND HE DID. I am so obsessed with this one-piece outfit. he made it a little smaller or me and it fits perfectly. You can check out his other versions at the Biddell Shop and see him as a guest on Canada’s Drag Race this season. After my trip to town and the post office, Sean and I hung out and had a drink on the dock. I picked up a cute bathing suit from Giant Tiger for $10. Up until now, the bugs have been really bad at night so we haven’t been sitting out. I made a nice fire and we watched the sun set on the lake.

Day 516: Back from Burnout

Day 516: Back from Burnout

Spent the last week at the cottage and it was so nice. Worked s few days and had 4 days of vacation. I needed it. I had burnout. Last night I felt refreshed and got a jump on work for the week. I was excited this morning. Aside from the fact that I have a torn muscle in my leg and have been limping for a couple of days. Been really trying to rest it as I’m booked to walk in a big fashion show on Friday for Evan Biddell. Ahhhhh! In other news, our plants are really growing + she’s back from burnout, ready to blog again.
