This week was a busy one. Stayed in last night. There were no cabs due to the rain so I picked Em up from school in a black Lincoln town car from Uber. I had a couple credits so it wasn’t that bad! She was totes excited and I then ordered takeout for dinner. Wednesday was the opening of Susur Lee’s new spot Luckee at the Soho Met hotel. [Susur Lee selfie] Fun opening, and the food I got around to trying was great. I need to go back for a sit down dinner. I’ve done a few things with Met hotels over the years (here + here) plus Community Agency did the Luckee branding so it was great to see lots of familiar faces since we’ve all been hibernating for months. Lauren and I met SANDY COHEN. If you follow me on any other social network you’ve probably seen this already. I loved the OC so much. We were there and Laguna last summer, so much fun. My ‘Celebrity Selfie’ collection is really growing. The Rudsak sample sale is on till Sunday. I’ve worn my new jacket and used my new bag on the daily day since I picked them out Wednesday. Here’s the three items I got. Worth stopping by if you’re in the market for a new bag or leather jacket. I had a gift card to put towards my purchase so it was an even sweeter deal. Heading out to Yorkdale to use a gift card for Ted Baker I’ve been holding onto forever. Hellooo Spring! I met Andrew aka Gunnarolla via Twitter when we found out we’d both been chosen to go on the trip to Thailand with Contiki. He is simply amazing and super talented. One of my fav people from the trip for sure. This is us with Sam and Leah on the last night in Thailand making up a song on the spot. It was simply hilarious. The video below is Andrew’s latest tune. MAKE EVERY MOMENT COUNT! #ContikiThai

I’ve mentioned it here and there around the web but this is my formal post, CONTIKI IS SENDING ME TO THAILAND! I leave on Saturday for 2 weeks away with about a dozen of Canada’s top YouTubers. I’ve never been to Asia and had to get a bunch of shots last week to get me prepped. We have an AMAZING itinerary planned by the great team at Contiki. I am honestly SO EXCITED. I’ve heard it’s a great time of year to go there and considering we might get snow today, I’m ready for some sunshine. I’ve been tracking the weather in Thailand and it’s been over 25 degrees every single day for the last week. I’ve been pinning photos and articles on a new Thailand – Nov. 2013 board. It’s so beautiful there!   I’ve known about Contiki as a great travel company from heaps of my cousins and friends down under. I love their NO REGRETS attitude and all the positive images they post  about travel and exploring the world. Like this one… Some Of the People Going Most of the peeps are YouTubers! This might be my favourite episode yet. We filmed it yesterday in Yorkville. The blondie with me is my sister, Jenie. It was hilarious dressing the babe in the Diesel store. The part that didn’t get on camera is me asking for the “no shirt collection”. Ha! There are so many things happening this weekend. I went to about five parties last night and got a tattoo. Since I switched to iPhone my camera has been collecting dust, but that is no longer the case! THE CASE! That’s me! Haha, ok…. Quite loving the new PEN Mini I recieved last week from Olympus. Edited the colours on this one using Picasa from Google. August 9-19th is SummerWorks, Toronto’s Indie Theatre & Arts Festival. I’m an Editorial Correspondent and will be blogging my top picks and festival experience on the SummerWorks blog. Last week I attended the SummerWorks VIP Summer Soiree and I *think you might see me in the society section of the Globe & Mail this weekend.  It was a great dinner at the Great Hall on Queen West. Had my first visit to the Toronto Trump Hotel in February and in honor of the Trump family cutting the ribbon for it’s official opening this week, heres a few photos from the Veet Pink Carpet event. There was a performance by Lights, decadent hors d’oeuvres, pink desserts, champagne, and an Old Hollywood setting complete with Ms. Monroe. They had stylists on-hand for makeup and hair too. It was fun. Before makeup w/ the lovely Catriona. Love this Wes Anderson inspired photoshoot she posted.  Especially this photo. I foresee this in/as my future. So cute.  🙂 Ok aaaaaaand back to the event, Lights! Sheena! Last time I saw her we were at YD Square hosting that super fun bouncy castle event with Koodonation. Do you know what “microvolunteering” is? For my work that day Telus & Koodonation donated $20,000 to my chosen charity, Moving Windmills. A project that supports Malawian-run rural economic development by building windmills. Told that story a little bit here: Social Change Through the Social Web. Marilyn! I SO want to wear this outfit. My sister does an awesome throw back laugh light this.  HAHA. Love to see anyone laugh, even me! Listening/watching this episode of Behind the Brand with Brian Solis. I’ve told you about everyone before. Did you know Pinterst is three years old? Bet you didn’t. I almost feel like I shouldn’t blog this but most of you wont even watch it. Digital Darwinism my friends. Ok now, rushing to throw on heels, hat, jacket and make it to an event.
