The awesome ShaSha Bread Co. float. They won 1st place for their design last year and this year it was pretty darn awesome. Getting instructions before we learn our choreography. Haha Rob Ford was there drinkin’ in the street. I kid, I kid. The Crew! Team Good looking! Sammy is funny. Nice tatas. I was having an epic hair day. I gave Sammy that beautiful hot pink extension. Bubbles are fun too. I love this kini. Nice shot photographer. We had so much fun dancing. I heard “Born This Way” about 200 times yesterday. I’m always amazed by how many nude people are in the streets. Mind boggling. We are so cool us Canadians. So epic. Water was infused with lemon & vanilla, it smelled like ShaSha lemon snaps. DELICIOUS! Thanks Raymi for connecting me & ShaSha! You were missed Raymbo! Streets were so packed. It was great having everyone call out to you from the streets. I love crowds & the spotlight. We soaked it up good. We found my sister! ♥ Hi Gay & Luis! ♥ So lovely to randomly see my sister in the street. Love this shot of them! Rest of the night was a hoot. She makes accessories that are right up my alley and is a complete darling. I wear bracelets everyday and hers are now part of my routine. Thanks for the new gems babe. This one especially. You know sharing positiveness is part of my MO. Couple photos from her show last night. When we met at the VOCAB gifting Lounge during MMVAs, her team & I were insta-friends. Real book cut outs! A Little History on How I Got Here

I woke up this morning determined to find my hot pink photo album and bring back some memories. I didn’t find it but I did come across a bunch of things that made me feel fond about friends, happy about starting a new year and proud of things I’ve done. This was me at Mum’s house on my 21st birthday, eight years ago. This was me at Mum’s house on my 21st birthday, eight years ago. A few months after that photo I shipped off to Australia for university. This was right before the airport, my family. There was a time where I thought I’d never get Mum & Dad together for a photo but such is no longer the case. I grew up so much that year I was away. This was at The Moose in Kitchener (anyone from there will recognize it!) the day I got back from Aus. I was so tiny, all my friends were like “where did your boobs go?”.  I left at about 125lb and came back barely 100. Living at the beach is a great diet. I figure today, my birthday is as good of a day as any to share some memories of where I came from/how I got here. One thing that always changes, is my hairstyle. I’ve had so many colours. Teen model. That was not the end of teen modeling. Oh no, there was much more. And more. After I won this pageant I did all kinds of fashion shows. It was really fun to be honest. I got lots of practice being in front of the camera, walking on stage and it introduced me to some people at Gap where I got my first ever real job. I had braces for about two years in high school. Rememeber Foursquare Day last year? Yes you do. It was 4/16, I worked at MuchMTV. I printed a big 4sq badge on a tshirt and scooted over to the Loose Moose for the party. I’d been there a few times so when I checked in, I TOOK THE MAYORSHIP. Everyone cheered as I walked to the table then Molson gave me a bucket of beers. It was an epic winning of mayorship & nerd pride. * that gun necklace got me hardcore hassled by border patrol at YYZ last summer! This year’s #4SQDAY meetup in Toronto is at The Firkin @ 461 King Street. For all the info on the Toronto meetup check the FB page. I chatted Karly (@_topshelf), one of the organizers yesterday and there are HEAPS of sponsors, free beer for an hour and BUTTONS like this. I picked up a few buttons yesterday because I will be attending the 4sq Day meetup in Boston at the Boston Common. Rumours floating the interwebs  Foursquare just may have a special badge for those attending the worldwide festivities. Really looking forward to relaxing with my friends & escaping the city.  Also stoked to fly with Porter again!
